Ugh...so the dogs woke me up today around 4. Since I was up...called Amex. The lady insisted it wasn't available until 4 Oct. I pointed out it WAS 4 Oct, whereas she replied it wasn't yet. I asked where? since it's 4 here in Florida. She hung up on me So...went to chat. The CSR said it was only available for new applications (which is not what is noted under account>services>request card). So...guess later today I'll try again.

Grrr...OTOH, the benefits are showing refreshed so it looks like the rose gold hoopla took them by surprise before they could inform CSRs?

Ugh, sorry! I did the chat with Naomi and had no problem getting the rose gold. She sent me some language about this becoming my card of record and asked if I wanted to proceed, I said yes and sent me language that it would be here in 7-10 days. Then also inquired about my missing $.50 for the Starbucks offer and she said that establishment was excluded? It was in a mall. Oh well, glad it was such a small amount.

Just got off the phone with Amex and my new Rose Gold card will also be shipping in 7-10. I was asked if I wanted to add any AUs and I said no but may be doing that down the line with the Plat card. The rep said that they had an offer for me to do that. I could add up to 4 AUs and each receive $5,000 MR for each AU that spends $500 within 3 months. I was going to do the 3 for $175 but was waiting for this offer which does not come up when I log in. A fourth AU would be another $175 but the rep said my 4th AU could be a Gold card for no additional fee and still qualify for the offer. So, I have 4 AU cards on the way. DH will likely cancel his Plat card when the AF hits. I asked if the Gold card AU could get a Rose gold card but they can't. They'd have to be an AU on my Gold card. I'm pretty excited about another 20,000 MR!

My AF posted on 10/1 for my Plus and Premier. my statement posted on 10/1 and my points were there on 10/2. My other one has the statement today so I’ll be checking tomorrow on SW for my points and then I’ll SM to close it. I want to see those sweet points first.

I dunno? I mean he certainly wouldn't care (not to mention I dont think he has EVER applied for his own card--LOL). I have never done an in flight offer so I just assumed it had to be someone on the flight itself to apply? But this may be a good plan.

Yes done on the flight...last week.I log into SW WiFi and the 50,000 point offer showed up for me on the plus and Priority cards

Ouch. I was still pulling the $195 AF, first year waived 50k incognito offer after midnight PT (10/4 ET) for my wife. Unfortunately, her application isn't happening right now because of the pop up.

Getting my rose gold card in 7-10 days and also added DD as an AU. Now to find a label maker so she knows to switch dining/Publix spend to that card and away from EDP. I have a feeling my EDP will be pc'd or just cancelled since I primarily use it for groceries and gas and I have a 3xMR gas card in the biz gold.
