sorry, im so used to typing with acronyms. my friends also tell me the same cuz im just so used to it.
super nice lounge! you will enjoy it!
Haha that's okay. I only use acronyms on here, but when I text I spell everything out with commas and such lol

I wonder if anyone here might know the answer to this... I booked a two night stay at Pop and bought 3 one day tickets. Not considered a package but bought together. I put it on my Disney Visa. Will it qualify for the six month 0%apr special?

It shouldn't. If it does, you got lucky!

Best Buy sells Disney GCs at face value. Chase Pay [5x UR] + Swagbucks 950 (750+200) SB on a $100 purchase [9.5%] + Best Buy Rewards (1-2.5% depending on your level, and whether you have use for the Reward Certificates).

Sam's Club sells a 3-pack $150 Disney GCs for $142.98 [4.68%]. Pay with Chase Pay [5x UR] + Dosh app [varies?]

*The above assumes 1x $100 purchase per day at Best Buy to maximize the Swagbucks deal, and buying the 3-pack $150 Disney GC at Sam's because that offers the best discount.

Because I need confirmation on the math:

5 $100 transactions at Best Buy using Chase Pay 5X UR and 5 Chase Pay purchases getting 1500 UR bonus and Swagbucks = 2500 UR (5X CF) + 1500 UR bonus + 4750 SB (950 per $100 transactions) = $87.50 off $500 = 17.5% off

$450 Disney gift cards ($143.98 for $150 at Sam's, so $431.94) using Sam's discount + CF 5X UR + 5% Dosh = $18.06 Sam's discount + 2160 CF 5X UR + $21.60 Dosh 5% = $61.26 off $450 = 13.6%

Right?

ETA seeing @Lain post my scenario does not contemplate Best Buy rewards so that would only add to the Best Buy discount
I believe Dosh is only in store so your gift card cost is $144.98 at Sam's

Any Nashville recommendations for someone who hasn't been there since she was 16? :) DH has never been.

I figured we'd do the Country Music Hall of Fame and Ryman Auditorium for sure. The concert we're seeing is at 8pm on Saturday. I know nothing about food, the only place I remember going with my family was Loveless Cafe.

Fly in Friday at 11:30pm currently (might try to move that to landing at 6:30pm as it gets closer, it'll depend on DHs work) and fly out Sunday at 7pm.
Merchants is good for lunch or dinner. Puckett’s for any meal. Both of these are right in the tourist area/Broadway.
I don’t remember your dates, but if the Grand Ole Opry is at the Ryman when you are here, I’d definitly try and go see the show. It is only at the Ryman during the holiday season.

I want to try the Opry if we get in earlier on Friday. I've got that Christmas concert Saturday night (Dec 1st) at the symphony center

My DS was making fun of me the other day with my grammatically correct texts. Clearly, that is not how he and his friends correspond.
lol I think it's because I'm a teacher and I like my texts to look like real words. My dad used to always respond with "ok" and I told him once that I expect more back from him so now he texts me all kinds of ridiculous stuff.

We booked our hotel tonight for Hakone for 11k points for one night so I thought I would come post an update on our trip to get some help/insight for the rest of our expenses.
Paid for:
1 night in Hakone
RT business class plane tickets
6 nights in Kyoto

Still need:

6 nights at Hilton Tokyo Bay (waiting for Hilton cards)
5 nights at AirBnB
RT Frontier tickets from our home state to LAX
Tokyo Disney tickets (I don't think we can use any points for these)
Japan Rail Passes (I don't think we can use any points for these)

We currently have around 24k points left on the UR portal.

I have to laugh at AMEX. I got an email last night, offering me 25k miles for a $2000 MS to upgrade my Delta Blue to a Delta Platinum. But I just downgraded my Platinum, to the Blue within the last year LOL. If I thought they'd actually give them to me, and then not kill me when I asked to downgrade again, I'd totally do it. But I have had this card, in one form or another, since 2007, so I don't want to risk them shutting it down.

They did the same thing to me with the Hilton! Literally weeks after I downgraded, they were offering me a bunch of points to upgrade to the middle Hilton card, then a few months after that, they offered me an upgrade to the Aspire!

hmm... who knows if they might make it 6 years in 2 years... :P

i would still see if I can generate the 65k CSP link first though.

In terms of UR card selections, CIC and Freedom card is all u need now imo.

There's a 65K CSP offer??

Did you do it?

Got an email tonight about being able to refer people from the chase app. This was at the bottom -

Participating Products include: Chase Sapphire Preferred®, Chase Freedom Unlimited®, Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier, Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus, World of Hyatt, IHG® Rewards Club Premier, United℠ Explorer, Marriott Rewards® Premier Plus, Chase Ink Business Preferred℠, and Disney® Visa®.

This should help know whether a card has a referral or not.
