Thanks for this creative idea for us non-Delta people! I was hoping to get the SPG biz next but $7k is too much spend for us (I struggle with $5k). Maybe I could do the Delta Gold Biz while I wait for the SPG biz offer to drop back down (seems like a weird thing to wish for lol!).

I'm in the same boat, $7K is too much for me too. Can we still generate the old offer through a non-updated link?

Yeah the min. Delta gift card you can buy is $50 so I bought a $50 GC - stmt credit posted next day. I sold mine on Raise and got $41.80 for it (sold it for $47.50 or something like that). I don't know if anybody has an updated link up for Delta Biz cards yet. I have one on my reddit profile page but didn't put it in DISchurners as I think I've hit the limit of referrals on that card for the year and want others to get the referral love. I was able to be lucky and generate some buzz around my link in r/churning back in January.

I once got courtesy points on SPG - last year in May I believe. I had to escalate the call once...the second level person was much more helpful.

I've totally psyched myself out on calling again due to hitting the spend with bank account funding- despite the fact that I know there are no DPs on SPG bonuses being revoked- so I'm gonna back down on this one. All in my head I know!

That call I made was before RAT existed. I'd be a lot more scared these days too if I had anything "sketchy" on my min spend. It's hard to say what depts talk over there at AMEX And you definitely want to keep eyes OFF your account.

dont u pay mortgage with plastiq? perhaps switching a month or 2 using your new SPG card... Bonus points > .5% on the CIP.
SPG points are worth a lot more than UR points too.

You can use the non-updated links, I saw the expiration on the 35k is 3/28 and on the 25k is 4/18 so both are still good.

For anyone wondering about generating (making the link) the old one you can't to my knowledge, so don't delete your old links imho. I think this is a good time to remind everyone to keep a word document or something with your links, this way when something like this happens you don't loose a link that still works even though the credit company doesn't generate it anymore. This also helps when the credit card company fries their new link generator in an update and only people with old links have working links- you don't want to miss out so keep those old links somewhere just in case!

Called to get matched to the new SPG Biz offer (I got the card 2 months ago) but no go, wouldn't even credit courtesy points. A couple people on Reddit got offered 3K courtesy spg points, I got spiels from the online chat rep and the phone csr about how valuable spg points are and how I could get more points if I refer someone and that if I add an authorized user I'll earn points faster- I feel like the sales department has taken over customer service for the day!

I called, and eventually got 3K courtesy spg points after I asked to speak with a supervisor. The first rep said she would open a case with the marketing department (I got a case number for follow-up), then I asked to speak with her supervisor. I emphasized my long relationship with AMEX (16 years according to their records) and the supervisor kept reiterating how the offers are hard-coded to your application. I did have to come right out and ask for some compensation, like bonus Starpoints, and that's when she relented and gave me the 3K. I don't really anticipate getting any more than that in the end, but I figure AMEX should feel some heat for their policy. My SPG Biz was opened mid-Jan.

You CAN via Plastiq, just like we're doing with the CIP, but the AMEX RAT team is why I don't even dare.

I feel better since I was never given a case number, maybe my account is going to stay in the shadows after all...

with plastiq its fine because they have no clue what your paying... i met my 10k with SPG biz on plastiq. (8k of 10k were plastiq payments)

I just called to verify my SPG Biz date, and it is exactly 3 months from the date I was approved. Which I think is pretty unfair, seeing as I didn't get the card for a full week afterwards and they wouldn't give my my account number to use in the meantime.

Ok, call me stupid (well don't actually LOL) but what is RAT? And is there a way to pay the mortgage with Plastiq for an AMEX spend??
