I believe the minimum age is 12 or 15 yrs old. I know chase you are able to add anyone so i added my son to get the bonus points from using the AU card once
Well crapBased on my experience with the Amex Platinum (personal though), it s 13. At least it had to be 13+ to receive bonus MRs for adding an AU. I can’t say for sure whether that’s an absolute age floor for an AU.
Does anyone know if the starbucks offer will work if you reload your starbucks gift card with chase pay?? I tend to order ahead in the morning to avoid the crowd and wait.

For those playing with Plastiq/CIP mortgage payments . . . it looks like they accepted the Wells Fargo info I just put in for my payment. My business name was "ATTN: Cashier" as some of you suggested. On the second line for business/address I put "WLS FRGO HM." The system accepted it. Hopefully, it doesn't kick back for verification (crossing fingers and toes).
Next up is Chase. Will do that one after I verify that the Wells payment gets sent with no issues.

Idk, I was wondering the same since you can do that without having to go in.
Just wanted to (belatedly) offer my condolences as well. I've always been a cat person. We had two different cats in my family when I was growing up, and I got my own kitten at age 25 shortly after graduating law school and moving into my own studio apartment. I can't tell you have devastating it was to have to put that cat down 19 years later. I shouldn't even admit this, but I think I cried more over the loss of that cat who had been constant companion for 19 years than I did when my 91 year old grandmother passed away. By the time I put Lucy down, I was married with two kids. We waited a year and then adopted two new rescue kittens. They are five now and our male orange tabby is quite the handful, but I love having them in the house.
I had just been wondering about this... I have 4 kids and was wondering if it’d be appropriate to add my 6 y/o (youngest)....guess not!
I actually went ahead and added my son who 4 to my chase. I wanted to make sure they report it so it can help build his credit kind of early, but I will admit it was for the points and the card been in the drawer since I used it one dayI had just been wondering about this... You can to a Chase card but not to AmexBoth my boys are AU'ers and they are 9 & 7.
My wife doesn't have many churning rules...but one rule she does have is NO cards in the kid's names...and since she's a wonderful wife and lets me use her name for cards, I listen!!I actually went ahead and added my son who 4 to my chase. Update . . . Wells payment sent. Chase seems to have processed ok as well. I paid Attn: Cashier Chse and on 2nd address line I put Ch ase (with a space). I sure do hope these payments make it to the right place!!!
I was also able to pay a contractor today for doing a small roof repair on my rental. I'm kinda wishing I had a higher credit limit on DH's CIP!
Just an FYI, I just saw on the news that Toys R Us is closing ALL stores, not just select ones. No timeline on this, but maybe just keep this in mind as I know some of you MS through Gift of College cards. Perhaps someone else sells them, but I know I've heard @havaneselover in particular mention that she gets her there.

I plan to revisit the idea once they are 13+ and may actually have a potential use for a card. Who knows what payments and card usage will even look like in 5-10 years though!!I have all my kids as AU'ers and am about to add my dd17 to another card. I had a heck of a time qualifying for a card when I was ready to apply because I had no credit history. I am hoping this helps my kids more than just gives me a few bonus points but we'll see. I can certainly understand why your wife is reluctant to add them.
IF you aren’t planning on getting crazy with this game (ie 5+ cards in a year) the CFU can be a great card.
Well...not to us, lol! But mention to the majority of folks in America that you've opened up 10 cards in the past 2 years and you'll get a pretty crazy look from them. LOL! We must be the best kind of crazy cuz everybody seems jealous of all my trips and literally anybody with a decent credit score can do it hahaha! Is 5 cards a year crazy?![]()

I understand I tend to limit my use with him, but i know with no credit history it was hard to get my first used car finance and i end paying insane interest rate. Now i have history 0% finance is my friend and i will never go back to paying interest again (even though I am eyeing the Telsa). Plus when in one player mode I tend to use my mom as my AU, but she unfortunately want stop until she get this student loan that my sister default on off her report. My wife doesn't have many churning rules...but one rule she does have is NO cards in the kid's names...and since she's a wonderful wife and lets me use her name for cards, I listen!!
