I’d do the CIP then CSR and CSP. I just did the double dip in nov. great to have those pointsI’ve never done plastiq before, but I understand it to be a vehicle that allows you to pay other bills, like your mortgage w/ a cc. And it’s worth the fee incurred?? I need to figure out cash value of the points to better understand these concepts. Like the $6k property tax installment I have to make next month, I think they offer an option to pay w/ your cc but you incur the fee...what % fee would you accept to get points on CIP?
So it seems I need to do CSR and CSP on the same day. Can DH do them same day too? When do we do CIP? How far apart should these be spaced?
My Wells Fargo Mortage went through plastiq. Yesterday though had chase contact for fraud but got it resolved through sm since it was dhs account and I knew he wouldn’t want to call. I’m just waiting for wells to post to my account still. It’s been over a week.Yes! Paid car loan (credit union), Mr. Cooper mortgage and Ditech mortgage. I haven't tried Chase or Wells yet - figured that might take more work. I'm gonna play around with those later this week I think.
I had added DD7 to the CSP since she was going to a camp. Didn’t want to send her with cash. She’s excited to have her own card. Now DD6 and DD4 want their own. Lol told them they have to wait till I apply for a new personal card. DH wasn’t too happy but it was done already without talking to him about itMy wife doesn't have many churning rules...but one rule she does have is NO cards in the kid's names...and since she's a wonderful wife and lets me use her name for cards, I listen!!
Well...not to us, lol! But mention to the majority of folks in America that you've opened up 10 cards in the past 2 years and you'll get a pretty crazy look from them. LOL! We must be the best kind of crazy cuz everybody seems jealous of all my trips and literally anybody with a decent credit score can do it hahaha!
Noooooo. When they made their March 17-20 prediction I booked hotel for this weekend. I was so excited because we always miss it due to track and soccer season. Thought we could get it in this year before things start. I have been checking it every day to see if they changed their prediction. Sad face for me. My daughter wants to go back next weekend for the March for Life thing, but I don't know if I can do 2 weekends in a row. Or deal with the crowds for the March.
I had it on SPG personal and biz
I have the Lowe’s offer on BGR, and both BCP accounts. Not on spg personal. Thanks for sharing it over here @amalone1013!
Thanks! I had it on my SPG Biz and personal Plat; DW had it on her SPG Biz. Nothing on AU cards. I’ll take 20% off Disney, Amazon, or gas gift cards anytime.
You can to a Chase card but not to AmexBoth my boys are AU'ers and they are 9 & 7.

Late evening used to be the time we would do drives through for the monuments when people came to visit us from out of town. People are still touring late, although gift shops and such are closed.
I ended up with a cash rebate of $10.35 (?) I think they gave me the 1% of the full amount, not the sale price on points....Nice going with the LAX-OGG on Avios - that is one of the better uses of Avios for sure!
I'd love to hear what you end up getting from givingassistant on the SPG points purchase. The small print says Starwood earns 1%, not 10%, but who knows? There could be a nice little glitch there in your favor.
It's very hit or miss but can happen. I haven't gotten an instant number for a long time though...and that's with multiple applications.I have a big purchase I have to make today for work. Any cards that would give me an instant number? Online people mention Amex. Just wondering if people get one for the SPG
When I first added my kids to my Delta AMEX 10 years ago, I did it for their credit, and never even gave them the cards. Actually they still don't have them, I have had them locked up since the day I got them. I did give them the Disney Visa cards they are on, because they used them to pick up items for me when they were out and about. But they both have excellent credit at very young ages, so it must have helped, when my son financed his car at 21, the salesman was shocked at his score, and that we weren't there with him to be co-signors.I plan to revisit the idea once they are 13+ and may actually have a potential use for a card. Who knows what payments and card usage will even look like in 5-10 years though!!
Just used your little pic tutorial for the Lowes offer.... thanks! I tend to forget the multiple cards thing till too late usually- had it on SPG biz and personal and BCP!nope-wait just checked DH's SPG personal and he had it too! so that makes 4Ok, here you go. Getting the same Amex offer on multiple Amex cards with one log in a la MMS style:
Log into Amex account. Click on Amex offers, the click View all. Do not select any offers yet.

Open a new tab in the same browser

Paste the URL you copied into the new tab and hit enter

Now click the "my accounts" so you can display and select the next account.
View attachment 307924
Select your next card
View attachment 307925
Once the next card is displayed, click on Amex offers and View All. Keep repeating until you have a tab opened for each card and have selected View All Amex offers on each. Now you can start selecting your offers. I had a Sunglass Hut offer on 4 of my cards. I did a screen shot of 3 so you can see they are displayed for each card. I was able to select this offer on all of my cards by just going to each tab for each card.

Oh yeah - I absolutely think it's a good idea. When I first added my kids to my Delta AMEX 10 years ago, I did it for their credit, and never even gave them the cards. Definitely when they are old enough to go to the store for you, is a good reason LOL.Oh yeah - I absolutely think it's a good idea.I'm just not going to make my wife angry and risking losing player 2 in the game over it haha. I think when I can put some added "purpose" behind it she won't think I'm committing fraud or doing something illegal
