I've been trying to understand the new CC charging at Disney. I had been trying to decide for our trip whether I should charge everything to the room with my CIP on file for 3x travel (I think?) or just pay in GCs as we went along. Sounds like I'll charge back to my room and then just cash out some URs later to cover the cost of those charges. I'll use the GCs I've saved up to pay my balance before we go.

AHH! panic time? statement closed- I see the new payment date- SWA rewards supposedly awarded to p@ acct...go to the acct, nothing yet! is there a delay like this normally or should I SM?

Can someone explain the grAAvy train? I read through several pages of posts but couldn't quite find it. Thank you.

Did you look at your statement? I believe it takes a couple of days for them to transfer from Chase to SWA. My points aren't showing up in my RR account yet but I looked at the Chase statement and they are showing up there.

ok.... so not time to panic yet? Of course the one time I need them to drop into acct I can't recall the timeline.... the cc acct page says they've been awarded..... and I input the correct RR #..... thanks

DH got the United Biz card, not instant approval but the 30 day message changed to approval in less than 24 hours. He got the CIP 2.5 months ago so this is Chase Biz card #2. TBH I'm not planning a trip where we need the UA miles but the signup offer of 75K with $0AF the first year was too tempting to pass up and our airport is a UA hub so it should come in handy sometime. He's at 3/24, and I plan on trying for a CIC for him in a few months.

I'm $1700 MSR away from earning my CP for 2019-2020, and I should be getting my new BGR (with the glitch $0 AF first year) any day now.

In a churning fail I accepted a lame retention offer on my CitiBiz AA of 7500 miles for $1K spend in 90 days for the $95 AF. I'm trying to make myself feel better about it by rationalizing that I didn't pay a fee the first year and it buys me a year to see if I can get biz AA mailers.

Sounds like you should be fine. Looks like we are on the same timeline. I'm impatiently waiting because I'm looking to reassign P2's CP from me to our daughter so we can recoup points. At that point I need to get all of us EBCI. I hate that we haven't done it yet because we are trying to get a row of 6 for a trip in March. Good news is it looks like the waiting will be over soon:-)

question for friend.... her mom has had a CSP for like 10-15 years(can that be accurate? has it been around that long?) and it's her oldest card. She wants another card to pay off some bills and get a reward- she wanted to open a CSP, but I recommened she PC the old card to a FR or FU ,then app for a new csp,is this right? and how long between PC and new app?

Just like that I am $200 richer thanks to the Chase Checking account. Looks like the push from my credit union account worked. Now to let the $10k sit in my savings for 90 days to get that bonus. @polybob, did you receive yours?
I just checked and see "$300 for New Checking" pending woooo! Thanks for reminding me to look. What a rush, this is exciting. So fast too!

Ok, maybe it was worth those few little annoying interactions with Chase haha

I feel the same way about the United card! It is really tempting with the limited time offer, but my planned next move is the CIP. My airport is also a United hub and if I want to travel anywhere direct (besides MCO) it will most likely be with United. I just feel the 80,000 URs are more versatile and the CIP is probably harder to get after already having other Chase business cards. Maybe the United deal will be extended or something and I can get that after the CIP rather than the CIC and push that off. If not, there may always be other offers!

Yippee! I couldn't get the $300/$600 offer to work so I just went on with the $400 offer.
