Thanks for the reminder. I'll check it out.

You can turn them into hotel points (Hyatt/Marriott) if you don't want to use them for air travel. Just one option of course. Oh, and that AF isn't all that bad, especially since you can get $100 back on dining on the first 3 months. So if you eat out a lot that will make the AF more palatable I think.
And another vote for MCO. Granted it’s been 10 years but we stayed there the night before and after our first cruise. We loved it. Very nice hotel, super cool having the balcony looking into the airport, food, shopping, whats not to love? LOLAnother big fan of Hyatt mco. We’ve stayed there thrice. For our trip next month, we’re trying out the Hyatt place.

How about baggage fees for your trip?Well shoot already bought our EBCI for our May flights. I don’t really see us using that $100 much honestly
I thought you could only transfer UR's to Hyatt, not MR's. I hope to start dabbling in MR's this year so I'm trying to keep it all straight as far as what transfers where. I may also look at a Hilton card to use at Tokyo Disney.
I could definitely eventually use the MRs. We'd like to go to UAE in 2021, so I could/should start accumulating now for flights for that. And the $100 back on dining definitely makes it a good deal! I'm going to sit down and put together my thoughts on CCs over the next few months and get some opinions...
I would be wary of any claims or even talking to an agent. It all goes on your “record”. I called once about a possible claim then didn’t file. 2 years later it was brought up as an issue when I was considering changing companies because it was on my record. Then 7 years ago, our house flooded, we made a claim. 3 years later, it flooded again, made a second claim. A year after second claim, we sold that house and bought a new one. We were denied insurance by multiple companies for 2 claims in 5 years. Only 2 companies would insure the house we bought. One was the company we were insured by for the flooded house, and they wanted a huge increase, essentially double, for the new house even though it never flooded. The claims stay with the insured, not the property. We ended up with MetLife because they were cheaper, though we still carry a higher rate until the second claim drops off after 5 years.Mom's going to talk with our agent tomorrow. We use an agent that sells multiple companies so she can get their opinion on whether to use it or not. She used it last year when she backed into the garage door so she may not want to do a claim if it'll make the insurance go up a ton. The house is paid off so she saves money throughout the year from her various retirement stuff to pay it and the taxes. They didn't require anyone to come out and look at the garage and we have photo's so hopefully that'll be enough.
I might be wrong about Hyatt. Our best use for MRs has been travel abroad, flights in particular. You get 20% back on dining (and for me GCs worked when I bought them at the restaurants themselves) up to $100. That plus the $10/mo at Cheesecake Factory, etc. and the 4x points on most dining made it a card both DH decided to get.

Not sure where @speedyfishy goes but I think multiple stores. I’m not sure Kroger will work. Walmart you have to use Metabanks. S+S all seem to work. I’d try a small amount at Publix if they do money orders. Should be at customer service desk
So I just learned on GrubHub you can do pick up to save the delivery fee. Tons of local places are in my area (but I’m MetroBoston so not sure what you have). Our local pizza place is on there so I can pick up and get the $10 credit. Where it says “delivery” on the top bar click “change” then there will be a tab for pick up.Shoot, I forgot that $10/mo was only at limited places... we would never be able to use that. Hmmm I need to think more.

Btw I love this card. A keeper for sure!!!!!
Guys, the Disneyland price increases have hit not just APs, but one-day and multi-day tickets too: https://wdwnt.com/2019/01/breaking-...ases-ahead-of-star-wars-galaxys-edge-opening/
LMT Club still has multi-day tickets discounted at the old prices. Might want to lock in discounts on the old pricing if you're planning a trip sometime this year. And remember, LMT Club codes as travel for 3x UR on CSR and CIP, 2x UR on CSP.

I just learned too!! Makes the credit so easy!!Ooh! I didn't know about the pickup option. Thanks!
I thought Kroger worked? I haven't had luck so far but I'm hoping it's user error.
When you say Metabanks how do you know that it's Metabank? Is it a Visa or something else? Does the card say Metabank somewhere on it?
