If I am understanding your post correctly, you are wanting to get a CSR for yourself? You can try for one but you would not be eligible for a bonus until it’s been 48 months since your last sapphire bonus posted. Bummer, I know :(

I think my last Sapphire bonus was in July of 2016. I think that's when I received my CSP. I wish they showed the date opened on the account information online. I'll have to call to confirm.

Unfortunately Chase made changes for the Sapphires and you aren't eligible to apply until 48 months after receiving the bonus on any Sapphire card. So can't apply for the CSR, but you can PC to it. If all you want is to transfer points to partners, just PC to the CSP for the lower AF. Then you can transfer his UR to your CSP and then transfer to the partner.

Pros and cons to the CSR AU, pro isn't it $75 per AU? That's slightly cheaper than the CSP AF; con reports to your CR so adds to 5/24 (until you can get it removed). If you didn't want to keep the CSP for the whole year I wonder if they would prorate the AF if you downgraded again after a couple months?

I think I'm going to PC one of my two CF cards back to CSP since I didn't know my husband would not be able to transfer his URs to me since I'm not an AU on his accounts. I'll do that once I establish that I cannot get the CSR.

What!?!?! Is there some new rule I don't know about?

DW and I have always transferred UR's to each other and neither of us is an AU on the others accounts.

I tried to transfer his UR's to my United mileage plus account and it was not allowed. I could have tranferred his URs to my own UR account but I no longer have one since I product changed my CSP to a CF. I need my own UR account by adding myself as an AU for his CSR or product changing back from CF to CSP.

Just a small point, you do have UR account. The CF earns UR points. You just don't have an eligible card that transfers to partners at the moment. You can transfer from his CSR to your CF account, it just doesn't get you as far with the lack of transfer partners; but you could do it :)

Ah - sorry, I thought we were talking UR to UR.

I'm a few days behind here but wanted to come post a data point on the mileage shopping portal/Holiday bonus/giftcards . com thing . . .

My purchase finally credited on the Alaska shopping portal today from a purchase on 10/29, so 23 days total to show up as a transaction. I can also see the total reflected as spend in the holiday bonus section.

@speedyfishy Are you seeing your credit(s)?

Now if they would hurry and credit me the miles so I can go book a flight . . .

to me, i think the benefit outways the fee. $450 - tradeoff is $300 credit + a 50k night room($150 value, anything above that is profit to u). other things worth mentioning is another TSA pre fee reimbursement. Free Gold too if u havent achieved it in another fashion.
even if the only upgrade offer I have is a junky one? I thought I was given the advice a while back on this thread to not bother with that offer it's too low. I get what you're saying saying about the other things tho- but no bonus at the beginning.... wouldn't it be smarter for me to cancel this one then app for the Luxe,to get the bonus too?

Woohoo, DHs SPG Lux points posted today! AMEXs habit of ignoring credits and refunds means for them we hit the $5k spend on 11/16 to them. Really putting gas in DHs car on Monday night pushed us to $5025 after credits, so I'm just waiting for it to officially post. Surely it will today... 11/25 will be 90 days from application/approval.

I’m still not seeing mine.

Anyone else apply for the SW personal through the link last week, and still waiting for approval? I applied Thursday, answered fraud questions Friday, and still sitting at the two week message.

Your are correct. I did that -- transferred his URs to my CF and at that point I discovered I no longer had a UR account! So I moved them back.

It's essentially a cash-out on the Arrival+. You have a travel charge, go to your rewards, choose to apply awards against a travel charge, and select the appropriate charge. The rewards will appear as a statement credit.

I'm a big proponent of the A+. It's a great card with rewards that are super easy to use. Of course, it's not particularly useful after the sign-up bonus. But it is churnable, so make sure you put a few charges on it throughout the year - Barclays values ongoing use more than any other issuer.

How frequently can you churn the arrival+? I got it in 9/17. PC’ed a month ago when AF hit.

It is a great card to churn. I have done it 3 times now. I think mine were every 13 months. I PCd to either the regular Arrival or the Rewards card.

for the Disney Visa premier they give 250 credit after opening 500. Can I buy 500 of Disney GC and get the statement credit?

Yes you can!

Couple new AmEx offers,

the Cruise offer is back, spend $500+ get $100 back: Carnival, Holland America, Princess, Seabourn, or Cunard by 3/31/2019

Chewy.com spend $49+ get $15 back, by 12/19/2018
thanks! I got the cruise offer on two cards.... the chewy on two,and another sams club on 1....$50/10 another odd thing lately is when I try to add offers to certain amex cards I get 'you already added this' when I didn't.....ETA....just realized that popup notice is disallowing me to have the same offer on different cards...

Thanks. Im trying to figure out if I should use it towards staying onsite or paying the AP I will get in December

Nice - took full advantage of that last time - hopefully this will make our cruise an even better deal. Actually, can't believe Amex has given this to us again after we used it X3 just a couple months ago.
I just realized I have it on a third card! we have 3 BCE in the family, all 3 have the offer....none of the others do. Now I wonder..is this for cruise that has to be taken by that date,or just *booked* by that date?

Not exactly sure on the timing. Did you PC to the no-AF Arrival? Barclays considers those the same product, so if you did you'd have to close the Arrival before trying for the Arrival+ again.

In the past I've always read to leave it closed for 6 months before applying again to maximize your chances at approval. At best, you'd probably have to wait at least 1 month after closing the no-AF Arrival to prevent Barclays from reopening the old account.
