Well no luck getting Hamilton tickets for Puerto Rico.

So sorry to hear that! It was a very limited run and I imagine everyone in and from PR who could afford a ticket is going! It's too bad it couldn't be extended as PR can really benefit from tourists right now, although recovery is very slow.

I also have coupons for Boston Market, Staples, Dominoes and Jiffy Lube; either 10x rewards or $ off. None of these interest me but I hope they keep'em coming

Jiffy Lube was available at Costco - not sure if it still is - but it was $149 for $200.

Well no luck getting Hamilton tickets for Puerto Rico. They sold out before ever getting out of the virtual queue. Stub Hub seems to have opted out of selling tickets for those shows too. I will still seek out other avenues that may present themselves. Not giving up so easily. If anyone knows someone who did get tickets and planned to sell them on Stubhub because they weren’t actually planning to go, feel free to PM me.​

In other news, I did the the last Saturday morning wine and cheese tasting at Epcot. Much to my surprise, the wine host was Johannes Selbach. I don’t know much about wines other than Selbach Oster Reisling is my favorite wine. So I geeked out and now have a signed bottle.

As relates to this thread, my MR points for the Rose Gold card posted, as did 2 of the 4 AU Plat cards. Yay! Two more AU Plat card spends to go. I may go for the upgrade offer on my ED card after that unless something with a better bonus presents itself. I am finding myself in the rare position of not knowing what card(s) to go for next. With 10 Chase cards and being /24 naturally anything Chase is out. I am currently maxed on number of Amex credit cards but willing to cancel th ED for a better than 20k upgrade offer for another card. Not sure what I’d want though. We’ve got more than enough points and miles (over 4 million) to cover any trips we’d want to do. However even that would be an unlikely scenario. We need to build back up the PTO time and vacation budget coming off of China ABD, Antarctica with Nat Geo/Linblad and Japan ABD all within 18 months. We plan to be in the next 3 DCL maiden voyages so we are not planning anything long or crazy. It will be WDW, DLR and Aulani for the next couple of years. We may wind up up with double the points and miles we currently have by the Tim e we are ready to use them. So with that in mind WWYD? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

My other suggestion would be spend for free nights? Like I’m thinking of trying to MS the Hyatt card for 15k (if I get the card lol) and get an extra free night. You could also do this on the Hilton Cards, don’t know if you would use those free night certs tho.

We are back from our Florida/Disney trip.

All went well and we enjoyed it thoroughly. I finished my spend on my SPG personal bonus, by using it for gas. Overall, we spent very little.

We had a meal at Tiffins, as I had wanted to try this newer restaurant in AK. It is so very beautiful and whimsical inside. I think this is Disney at its best for décor. Our food was well prepared and served and we enjoyed the break in the heat and humidity. We were the first seated, and I didn't make an ADR.

We managed to get to all the parks. We managed to avoid lines almost completely and we made no fast passes until each day before, but we were accommodating 2 babies under three. In AK we did Navi river ride and The Lion King Musical, plus my daughter did Expedition Everest. Including our meal, that was about four hours in the park which is more than I usually do.

On Wednesday we headed for the beach and went to Honeymoon Island State Park which is a favorite of mine. It was delightful and the car is still full of sand. The kids kept asking to go back.

We shopped at Publix a couple of times and I had the grocery $10 offer on my Amex. It credited this morning. We had a full kitchen and used it for most breakfasts and a couple of evening meals.

I'm going back in January on the same annual pass, so I will do more rides and attractions then as the babies will not be along. We did use the DVC lounge one day for about an hour in Epcot and daughter says 'this is like being in an airport lounge' although the only food item is snacks and drinks. I hope they keep this perk.

Now its time to apply for my Rose Gold card - actually after the 15th, so I will have the 20% restaurant credit up to a $100 for my January trip. That should combine nicely with DVC/Annual pass discounts!

Just an FYI that I noted with some Hyatt redemptions - the cash and points were good deals, sometimes making the smaller cash payment and 1/2 the points payment worked out very nicely. Not all cash and points deals but I will check each time.

I did and scored tickets for Hamilton NYC for spring break...April 2019. I paid around $210 pp with Ticketmaster fees.

About a year ago, I had issues using a Delta gc when there were multiple people on a reservation. When I called, the reservations agent said I could only pay with a gc on ONE reservation, so I would need to separate my reservation from the others if I wanted to use the gc.

Additionally, a Delta gc can't be used to pay for the fees on an award flight. Also, I don't think you can use it for food in flight. Delta makes it very difficult imo to use these things!

It was a year ago when I was researching. Maybe things have changed for the better.

It's not just Delta. We found out AA is the same when we tried to book 3 tickets a couple of weeks ago. I had $400 worth of GCs (thanks to you all) and it wouldn't let us use them online. DH had to call (ugh) and he found out that you can pay for the seats, but nothing else, and since we had elected to book some sort of premium coach, the upcharge on those seats couldn't be paid for with GC. It wasn't an issue, since the 3 tickets cost more than $400, but their system wouldn't let us use them at all. They were able to make it work by phone, applying the GC to the coach price and then having us pay the balance, but it was a real pain. Odd that you can't use GC to pay for all those extras (which the AMEX refund is actually meant to cover) like seat upgrades, meals, wifi, etc.

Made x5 Chase Pay purchases with CSR. Three on Walmart online for $25 e-gift cards. Then they got annoying and kept canceling my orders. I hit up Best Buy and put 2 more charges with Chase pay and the extra 1500 is now pending. I never got an email/promo. Going to try this in my Freedom unlimited. Interested to know if it works on reg Freedoms too but doubting it.

Yea years ago there weren’t any restrictions on the coupons but my husband likes tek gear and other brands that the coupons work on ....most of my orders today have been in the 12-14 range for 2 shirts...

I got it to work to purchase gift cards. For some reason I could not get it to work to purchase a moisturizer for in store pick up. I guess Sam’s wants me to have dry, wrinkly skin!
