I love credit cards so much!

Along with my $200 ATT Amex offer credit, I am also not so patiently waiting for the $250 airline credit on my Amex Aspire to post. I spent it in one transaction on SW on the 4th and no credit yet. When I did my dh's, I did a $100 and $150 and they both credited after a couple of days.:badpc:
My ATT payment posted on 10/4 and still no credit.

Wife is out of town on her typical "once every three weeks trip to NY for 4 nights" so I took the girls to Chilis. I was going to use the Amex Gold to pay but got a little pop up on the Ziosk table computer that my Discover card would get me $5 off with a mobile wallet payment. Sweet deal! Sorry Amex!
I guess if I could have split the payment, I could have done the $10 minimum and put the rest on Gold. I'll see if that is an option next time. I think the promo runs until mid November.

FYI on Chase AU bonuses (New CSP applicants especially)...

I know the application page for CSP doesn't show the AU bonus any more. That said, I still think it's worth trying because 5,000 URs for nothing is awesome.

My application page DID show the AU bonus so I can't specifically comment on that. I earned my 5k AU bonus by adding my wife to her own card without her middle initial.

Example:
Cardholder Name: Sally B Smith
Authorized User: Sally Smith
(same birthdate)

It worked - I got my 5k points! @have2getaway, @babyready, @georgina, @Missyson, @danjoealexis3006, - I recall that you all recently applied for CSP cards. IF you didn't yet attempt to earn the 5,000 AU bonus I'd do what I describe above and put one purchase on the new card and see if you get the points :) (You technically could even put the purchase on your existing card but why not follow it to the letter of the law, lol).

Thanks! I was already thinking about adding my 19 year old son as an AU on the CSP, and just not giving him the card? He has a student Discover card that he has used at college responsibly. Would having him as an AU on the CSP help increase his credit score?

My UR sign up bonus points posted this morning. I transferred them from the CSP over to the CSR and made my first reservation!! One night at Universal's Royal Pacific for 2 adults and 3 children. We are actually staying at our timeshare for the week but it's cheaper to rent a room at RP for the free Express Pass. I have a little anxiety about actually spending the points on something we don't technically need for vacation but I'm sure we'll appreciate the passes.
You'll have so much fun with those Express Passes!

So jealous of everyone getting the express pass... I really thought about staying in one of the Universal hotels for our trip, but I just couldn't justify spending the cash when I had Hilton points to stay at the Doubletree at the gates for free. I figure as long as we're able to use our URs to buy tickets, we'll just pay cash for the express passes if we really need them.

Yes - that would be a good idea!

Are you applying for the AMEX Everyday card or the Blue Cash Everyday? Where is your link coming from...Are you self-referring, referring from P1=>P2, using a DISchurnere link, public link, incognito, or something else?
it was blue cash everyday thru a link generated on their 'find a card for you' page....
Ok...... ETA just got a link to work on Amex thru a referral (Dh's) I have no idea why it wouldn't show yesterday.DS got instant approval for the ED Blue and then a preapproval page for the biz card popped up:rotfl2: as if. Now I have to wait and see if he got the BOA card also, since we were a mess yesterday trying to get the pages to work.

I don’t know why...but whenever I’m waiting for one of those credits I always freak out and assume something went wrong...and yet eventually they always post. My mind just goes to dark places while waiting a few days LOL!

Yep, especially when I feel like I'm getting away with something by buying a gc when you're not supposed to.

I don’t often go to Universal but did this past weekend for HHN. I was so glad we decided to do the express passes. The lines were so loooooooooooong. We got in right away at opening and managed to do all 10 houses plus the open rides by 1:30 am with express pass. There is no way we would have managed without it. Granted this was on a Saturday night.

Ok Spg/Marriot..... can I still pool points between household members? I can't find a way to do it on the new site....

Yeah if I get there and it's terrible then I'll spring for them. I figure that with the money I'll have saved on hotel and the tickets themselves, I don't mind spending the money.
