I HAVE DISNEY WORLD TICKETS!!!! The agent today was able to cancel the Funjet reservation (he had to wait like half an hour on hold and apparently that is the norm for Funjet) and then booked me straight with Disney! He tried to select the will call option but couldn't and said there was no eticket option so they are being mailed to us (but no extra charge) and I received Disney confirmation email within a minute of when he booked the tickets. The email from Disney contained a ticket confirmation number which I plugged straight into Disney and have assigned our tickets. What a relief! Agent's name was Eno (? I think, it was kinda hard to him when he introduced himself so that's what I heard), forgot to ask what his ext was though. We got park hoppers but he did ask if we wanted park hopper + with water park option so they can apparently book that as well.

So, in order to book Disney tickets with URs just say no to an agent who tries to book you through Funjet and HUCA to an agent who knows how to book you direct with Disney. Clarify at the beginning of your call if they are booking direct with Disney or using a vendor like Funjet. (Will update our Reddit post on this later today.)

ETA: the agent did mention another interesting thing, he spoke to his supervisor who told him Funjet wouldn't send the tickets until 60 days before departure. So that's not something Funjet just says to everyone, it's actual Funjet policy they follow. Potentially disastrous for FP planning!

Great to hear you finally got your tickets!!! Thanks so much for sharing the saga to keep us well informed of this procedure. It will definitely help as I'm considering using URs to purchase WDW tickets soon.

Ugghh, plastiq just cancelled my mortgage payment after 2 months of it going through fine. Well that was fun while it lasted.

does double dipping on card app (twice in one day) work with biz cards? and is it only useful with one brand? so potentially a chase biz and amex biz concurrently? any benefit to trying?

You know how hard it is to find your own black luggage? Try finding someone else's black luggage! I picked my MIL up at the airport 2 weeks ago (1 week to go:rolleyes1) and she is blind. I asked what the luggage looked like - It is a big black suitcase. Doh. She was one of the first people down to the baggage claim because she got a ride so after I picked up about 10 big heavy humongous black suitcases to not find hers I waited till most people had claimed theirs to finally discover it. Took a long while!

We have colored luggage. I'm not so sure our next bags will be colored. They are easy to spot but bags are placed upside down on the conveyer and I find mine end up with black scuffs on them. They clean up, but they are marked up when we arrive on vacation.

So glad to see a post from you @brownhaired_girl!

Thank you @Lain.
Things have been busy around here. We just got back from 13 days at WDW, Annual passes will expire at the end of this month so no Disney trips for us until next April/May. I finished my MRS on Biz Starwood card a couple hours ago. YAY!!! I got it done in 2 months but I'm glad I went for the 25,000 point card, it was to stressful. Cows were recently sold and another family dairy farm will be a thing of the past. I had been a bit worried about how my husband would deal with this. It was tough watching the cows go through the sale barn. Surprisingly, he says it is just time to turn a new page in our life. Have I ever mentioned that I have an amazing husband, I'm hoping he might start traveling with me. We have 3 cows left that he still milks and we are raising a few calves at this time. The plan is that the rest of the cattle will be gone before winter. I have been very fortunate to have a job as a labor and delivery nurse that I LOVE and we can get by on my earnings without difficulty.

limitations only applies to same company... it should work if done on the same days though. no point... besides biz card wont hit your credit report anyways.

Oh no. Any idea why? My first one just processed today and is pending on my CIP.
Not sure. It processed yesterday but I didn’t get a sent email. This afternoon they emailed and said don’t support payment type, blah blah, sorry last ones went through, blah blah, old resubmit with a MasterCard.

At this point double dipping only makes sense on Chase cards where there is a 1 per family limitation (i.e. Sapphire, Southwest). I wouldn't be doing more double dips than absolutely necessary with Chase as it just puts you at greater shutdown risk.

A secondary reason to do it would be to combine hard pulls (i.e. on AMEX). Back in the day people did app-o-ramas and hit many cards on the same day. Those days are long gone now though with all the new rules and scrutiny.

Thx. I may try to set it up in a new plastiq in DHs name if I get motivated. At least I was able to get it to work long enough to hit the msr on his CIP last month.

Yeah, I was thinking since Heritage got shut down on your account, you could try setting up a new Recipient on a Plastiq account for DH since he has a CIP you've been unsure whether to use or PC.

Thank you @Lain.

I thought you said you were going to WDW, but you've been hanging around here too much liking posts on vacation again! I'm so sorry to read about the cows; the first thing I though about was your husband. He was so dedicated to them. I hope he's okay, and I really hope he starts traveling too!

I don't know... I personally try to stay consistent. I'd be worried about getting hit with a financial review or something.

But I get what you're saying. If you're applying for the CSR that's going to give you a crazy high CL if you get approved, put a lower (maybe individual) income figure to try to cap that CL. Then when applying for the CSP, give a higher (or combined household) income figure to appear more creditworthy to open the CSP? Doesn't Chase's online app also ask if you want them to consider any additional sources of income anyway?
For my Double dip they only asked that question (do you want to consider any additional sources of income) on my second card. I did not get that question on my first application for the CSR.

Let me pull up my spreadsheet.

:rotfl2:

@Ava: CIP (9/17); Marriott Biz (2/18); CIC (5/18)
@SBWB48: CIP (7/17); Marriott Biz (2/18); CIC (5/18)
@Lain: CIP (6/17); Marriott Biz (2/18); CIC (5/18)

Anyone else? I'll add it to my spreadsheet.

P.S. I don't really have a spreadsheet. :laughing:

I knew it! You must be keeping tabs on all of us. You remember way too much :rotfl2:
