It'll be YUGE.
It'll be YUGE.
Business cards do impact your credit score in an indirect way since they don’t show up on your personal credit report. Since you’ll be shifting a lot of personal spend onto business cards that don’t report to the credit bureaus, you’re in effect lowering the percentage of credit utilization on the personal cards, which will tend to increase your credit score.
I use an iPad and I can’t see links at the top.If you go to DISchurners there are some links at the top - new, top, etc...and one is wiki. I'm not in front of my comp right now or I'd take a look - doesn't work so well on my phone haha.
ROFLIt'll be YUGE.
For you...CIC is probably a great option (if you have it currently you'd need to cancel it before you could apply - I'm not sure which card you downgraded to). Once you apply for any personal card you'll hit 5/24 (which isn't the end of the world if it's the right card)
It was so fast because she messed up her 5/24 count. Store card she forgot about from a year ago. No reconning around it.DANGIT! Mom just told me her CIP app already went 7-10 days on the phone line. Time to review biz recon stuff and help her through it as best I can just... DANGIT!
We loved that show and dessert party!
Has anyone ever gotten this message when applying for CIC or CIP:

That is what I got when I applied for CIP and DH got the same message today when I applied him for CIC. I mostly see people say they got a 30 day message, so I find it interesting that isn't what we got both times.
Ohmygosh. Just.... omg. Reminds me of the story of the person who funded an account with like 20K- and then couldn't get it. This person isn't lying about stuff though. Gah- I wish I could find that old story! That person had lied to the bank saying he intended to move to their state, spun stories about fake company board meetings and other crazy stuff preventing it, had trouble with the bank and had trouble with the credit card company. It was such an epic disaster I should have bookmarked it. If you can't afford to lose the cash for a couple months if it gets tied up in a bank dispute don't do it!sooooooo... bank funding huh?
Bummer. Store cards are a pain, seems like they’re not “real”credit cards yet they are.It was so fast because she messed up her 5/24 count. Store card she forgot about from a year ago. No reconning around it.
Gah! That stinks!!! I was looking forward to hearing a multiple CIP success story. It was so fast because she messed up her 5/24 count. Store card she forgot about from a year ago. No reconning around it.
We own 1 rental property that doesn’t actually make a profit. I used “CyndiLouWho’s Rentals” on a Citibank biz cc once. Just don’t want to have a red flag since it’s not actually a registered business name.@CyndiLouWho does your DH have a business or a “business.” If it is an actual business I might come up with some name and put that...on my call from the loan department I might have been paranoid but they seemed a little suspicious that my name was the name of the business. (I know all the blogs say that is fine but Chase didn’t seem to love it). DH has an actual business and of course they never asked him about it and automatically approved. You have to fill out the form as best you can. Mine was a “business” and I so do not want to repeat that phone call ever
I have been on the DisBoards for awhile, but recently started reading some of the pages. I can't keep up there is so much written every day! I have been doing the points game for 5 or 6 years, but only to pay for a few trips a year. We have lots of AmEx cards, but I want to add a few Chase cards. My DH is at 2/24 (both last Oct) and I am at 3/24. I have the CSP (DH is an AU), CSR, CIC (Biz). He doesn't have any, but getting him to make calls isn't the easiest! After reading these comments, I am leaning to getting the CIP and cancelling the CSP. The main reason we kept the CSP was so my DH could have primary insurance when renting cars. The CIP is appealing for the primary insurance and the 3x for college bills, taxes, etc. I also would like to get either the CF or CFU. I am not one to get cards and then cancel a year later. When I sign up, I plan to keep them for a while. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Also, I saw someone mention going through the Chase portal to reserve Disney hotels. They mentioned using the portal to get 1.5 points for the dining plan. How do you add the dining plan? I have reserved several Disney rooms through the portal but didn't realize you could do the dining plan. Thanks!
