Has anyone ever gotten this message when applying for CIC or CIP:

That is what I got when I applied for CIP and DH got the same message today when I applied him for CIC. I mostly see people say they got a 30 day message, so I find it interesting that isn't what we got both times.
I seem to recall getting that message when I applied for a Marriott Biz card back in August of 2015. I called in and it was some sort of verification - they they attempted to transfer me to lending services (which they were going to ask me questions about my "business"). I told them that I was driving and I'd have to call them back...never called back and was approved 2 days later.

I got this message when I applied for the Marriott Biz and some other biz card before. The first card (which I can't remember), I called and they denied me after asking a bunch of questions. On this last one, the Marriott, I didn't call in and it took about 4 days to get approval. I just called the automated line repeatedly to hear the outcome. Good luck!

Can we put a thread with numbers like the Chase automated line and recon on DisChurners? Numbers for other card companies, etc. I always seem to have a hard time finding it when I need it.

I figured it was time to start really budgeting so I downloaded Mint and YNAB to try out. So far I’m preferring mint. YNAB is telling me I need to budget the money that is in my emergency fund. How should I go about this? Should I just unlink that account? It seems super confusing.
I personally use both. I don't auto import transactions into YNAB because I need to physically feel the sting of entering in transactions, lol. However, I do use mint to combine all my account information and then copy my transactions over from there. I have everything in there, my house, vehicles, 401k etc.

If you go to DISchurners there are some links at the top - new, top, etc...and one is wiki. I'm not in front of my comp right now or I'd take a look - doesn't work so well on my phone haha.

@Jen and Ashwin The Chase numbers are in the flow chart (Chase Approval Chart) in the wiki.

Thanks. I found it in the Wiki. I am new to Reddit, so didn't even realize there were tabs at the top.

I was putting off booking the World of Color Dessert Party for our trip until DH's SPG Biz came, since it's pre-pay... and then I forgot to book it until today! And the night we wanted wasn't coming up! The only open table I could find was our first night, which is when we have a Blue Bayou Fantasmic package... and that wasn't coming up on any other night either! After furiously refreshing for about half an hour, for both packages, the dessert party opened up on a different night! Booked it and rearranged other plans - only the show packages were hard to rearrange, of course. Crisis averted and $160 towards SPG BIZ spend :thumbsup2

We loved that show and dessert party!

But it is "support link" friendly ;) HAHA!

Sorry, Wiki is a bit messy. Ive just been adding and adding when i find something useful either here or reddit or wherever. i think at some point, i may try to break it into pages instead.
To be clear, I meant Reddit in general, not our sub...which is beautiful!

I know that the cards don't count towards 5/24. But wondering if business cards have an effect on your personal credit score?

Business cards do impact your credit score in an indirect way since they don’t show up on your personal credit report. Since you’ll be shifting a lot of personal spend onto business cards that don’t report to the credit bureaus, you’re in effect lowering the percentage of credit utilization on the personal cards, which will tend to increase your credit score.
