I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

That is one of the main reasons we left AT&T for Tmobile. We spent more than $400 on ATT International pass last year across 3 lines and thats only using it about 1 day in 3 whilst overseas.
Huh. Ours maxes out under $200 per month, so it's worked really well for us.

Thanks for sharing. I am vegetarian/pescatarian (cooked fish only) and so I'm not sure what to expect food wise in Japan. A teppanyaki option sounds great. I like the idea of far from civilization. The one thing holding me back from Japan has been so much big city time. As I get more travel experience, I realize I don't want to do a large city for more than a few days.
Fufu asked for both allergies and food preferences. I listed what we do not eat on our reservation and they had that info when we checked in, went over it again, and then the teppanyaki chefs knew about it as well. I thought they were quite accommodating and we loved our dinners there.

What is the policy if we booked a Hyatt with free parking months ago, but now as it gets closer to the trip they’ve started charging for parking? Do we have to pay it now, even though when we booked it was free?
If they changed the policy after you booked you could try to call Hyatt and get it waived.

Still have 4 pages to catch up on, but it looks like my IHG account was hacked once again on 5/31. They took roughly 450k points and got $900 in gift cards to Target. I'm so over my loyalty accounts being hacked. It seems that was the only one to get hacked. And it's happened like twice before. Well the password now is my BF's "go to" so something I've NEVER used. We'll see how long till it gets hacked, LOL.
I'm so sorry this keeps happening to you. I wish all sites would require 2FA, as annoying as it is hackers are just getting too good.

Today is our last night in Murren before heading to Zermatt. We will be checking into the Matterhorn Lodge which is bookable on the Chase UR site. While in Murren today, we visited Grimmelwald, went to Piz Gloria for lunch at the rotating restaurant and did the cliff thrill walk. The weather held so we also went paragliding. This. Was. Amazing.

To heck with your Disboards screen name. Imma start calling you "Rick Steves". lol Love all of these pics. I'm so happy that you're there!

It's per billing cycle, not months. I still use it to make it easier with my mom, at some point I'll look for other options. But both this last trip and Japan my trip spanned two billing cycles so I got hit for the whole thing. I think it stops charging per day after 10, as long as it's the same cycle.

hate to add fuel, but this is also for Priority Pass, too for AUs. you can also pay the 125 or spend 75k 😂

My son is not gonna be happy losing his priority pass. Doubt he will want to pay $125 for it.

TBH, I always thought the free priority pass for AUs was too good to last so not surprised to this go. The loss of guest access is a bit more unexpected.

Yeah - AT&T has a 10 day per billing period max - which with 3 lines at $12 +$6 +6$ = $24/day

We never hit the monthly max as we didn't use it every day (or we turned it on at 1pm one day and off before 1pm the next day) to keep the cost down.

Problem was we spent more than 50 days overseas across 6 different billing cycles - so a $200 monthly cap wouldn't do much for us either.

Just cancelled Venture X, the lounge change was a complete deal-breaker for us. Absolutely insane for them to nerf a family down from 6 lounge visitors to 1 lounge visitor.

Luckily the timing coincided with my card anniversary so I was able to redeem my $300 travel credit and still cancel with enough time to get my full annual fee refunded.

USBAR is so overpowered right now that I'm thinking my next move is to start building a viable backup plan for when it inevitably gets nerfed too.

Thanks for the mention of the Southwest sale... I don't fly often but I do have two upcoming flights on Southwest, and on one of them, the WGA PLUS was $28 cheaper than the current WGA I had booked so I now have a flight credit. Of course I don't have any plans for another flight any time soon but perhaps I will find a use for it!

So, for my curiosity, this was a flight originally booked before 5/28 and now you made a change that resulted in a credit, yes? Does that credit have an expiration date?

I was coming to report on this as well. I was happy to see this as some of the rumors I'd seen I thought had eliminated the credit all together. I usually use it on storage devices or Hue lights (my favorite LOL). The $400 was awesome, but I'll live with $150 (edited to remove x2).
