I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

verizon mobile or fios? I haven't seen that add on for free. would love it!
I just looked when @havaneselover mentioned it and it took a few tries to find the details but it's available on 1gig & 2gig Fios plans. If you Manage your plan it should come up in the Perks section.

We have a lower plan so it doesn't look like we're eligible unless I upgrade. Which is more than the perk. But good deal if you have Gig service!

Reports of Chase business being reported to credit reports, not just new cards.
Very interesting, some think it's a fluke, but seems to be a number popping up. Link to DoC

One commenter took a whack to their credit score as they were running a high balance due to an APR offer, food for thought if anyone is playing around with that on a Chase biz card right now.

Thanks that's what I thought. It doesn't seem Tokyo station hotel uses standard for any of their rooms. My hyatt res email doesn't say what type I booked back them and the app won't show me.

The points for that hotel are insane even far out imo. If you're lucky you can find 100k.
The standard rooms for TSH are the ones facing the dome (of Tokyo station). I was wondering if that's the hotel you were looking for; there are rumblings that they might be leaving SLH since there is never availability (I have also been looking for next year and have come up empty).
If you're looking for a pts room in Tokyo I highly recommend the Hyatt Centric Ginza -- great location, nice rooms, fantastic staff, etc. It's moving up a category, so if you're even thinking about it, I'd secure a room at a lower points cost now. I have stayed at both TSH and Hyatt Centric Ginza and I'd give an edge to the Hyatt, taking all things into consideration. Hyatt House Shibuya also garners rave reviews and is half the points cost of the Centric -- it's also moving up a category in March.

Funny enough, while checking p2 Chase credit journey, I found green star offers for CIU and CIP. We need another card, are those offers guaranteed approval?

That's good to know. I had a dome view.

We'd only do a night or two. We're planning the China abd next near but the dates aren't out yet. We'll do a little Tokyo and then TDLR since it'll be my BFF and I and if we didn't it would leave her at 5 parks. We've done 3 of the parks together so we need to do the last three.

This was one of my favorite ABD trips, despite it being the same trip I wound up with BP that never fully recovered. We have often talked about repeating this same ABD at some point. Happy to see someone on this thread gearing up for such a cool adventure!

Do we think the chase cards on credit reports are the reason some of us are getting denied biz cards w/ chase? Although, I just got the IHG card approved last month, so that wouldn't make sense, LOL.

GCs working is YMMV, but I was referring to them being Out of Stock on the Hilton gift card website.
I've gotten them to work at a hotel. But I need to buy them online. UGH. LOL.

So, if we want to check and see if Chase biz cards are hitting our reports, we have to check all three, right? Chase credit journey is Experian, so then I have to find Transunion and Equifax? I'm at 48 months on my Sapphire bonus, was going to watch to open in the coming months, but if my biz cards are showing up, I'm 5/24 instead of 1/24. P2 would be 7 vs 3.

Annual Credit Report seems to still be doing weekly credit reports. You can go straight to the sources from there -

I just checked transunion and CIP I opened last May is on my credit report. Don't know when it showed up- I watch experian closer and it's not on that one.
I just check my Transunion and I too have a CIC I opened in September, I’ve been carrying a balance to take advantage of the 0 APR. that’s the only one reported, so maybe they are only reporting those that carry a balance? That puts me at 5/24.

ETA: Just checked all reports only Transunion is showing the CIC.

Quick question for this chase 5x insurance bonus up to 1500: it's not in addition too the grocery category, correct? if not,t I'm not going to bother. but to me, on the chase dashboard, it looks like it's just a bonus category, not an additional 1500 I can pay ahead for a bill,l correct?

on combined purchases. So not in addition, once you hit 1500 on all categories combined, no extra rewards.

Cap one’s credit monitoring seems to be transunion. I checked there and credit karma and neither are showing any of our biz cards. I will check free credit report later from something easier to navigate on than my phone

After something like 6-7 years playing this game, both DH and I seem to have finally landed in pop-up prison. :( Any advice? We both canceled a card in the last month or two. Neither of us seem to be able to get the Surpass on a referral from the other. Is it worth trying without the referral link? Or do we just need to wait this out?

I have been reading along here for years, so I know that most people suggest putting spend on our Amex cards. I try to spend on each one every month, but sometimes one or another will fall through the cracks? Does that matter more than the total amount on monthly spend we put on AMEX (DH puts a LOT on his, I put roughly $300-$1000 on mine every month?

Any help or advice would be truly appreciated.
