I hope it is not bad. I booked Mystic Dunes for the night we land before moving on property. It will be the $30 resort fee as I used the $150 delta.com/stays credit for it rather then using a FNC
When do you go? I'm really about to pull the trigger on the same property... I can use 30k pts for a 3 night stay, and then there would be no resort fee, no parking fee (which is almost unheard of in Orlando hotels nowadays)... and it's 15 minutes from the park which is close enough for us!

Not until March. The videos I have seen makes it look decent.

The cash prices on the Hilton website are not in line with the point prices and the point prices for 2025 are 10k for almost all year with early January's first few days in the 'normal' range of about 70k to 90k. So, it's probably a glitch. The question is whether Hilton would honor the price. Since you are so far out from your trip, I'd probably book it and keep an eye on it.

It's really tempting for me to book it also as I need a night in February.

The location is pretty good as you can come out onto Sherberth Rd near AKL and down Old Lake Wilson after passing Windsor Hills. The traffic is usually bad after 3 to 4pm - people getting off work but you are only on 192 for a minute, or you can cross it directly and go through that neighborhood. That was my 'path' to Reunion Resort when I would stay or visit family who owned houses in there.

It might be a glitch but it was also 10K for when we are going during Spring Break.

What was really a glitch was last night they had the Signia by Hilton Orlando at 495K (It is now back down to 70K) and the Hilton Orlando is showing 318K but the Waldorf Astoria Orlando & the Conrad Orlando were 90K which I would certainly do.

Just tried again; same message.
Weird just to test I just moved some points to P2 and it went through.
I then logged into P2 and moved them back with no issue.

I am doing this on a computer not sure if there is issue with Apps.

Maybe try deleting cookies or a private browser window that doesn't store cookies.

The Mystic Dunes resort is showing 10k per night from January 3rd, 2025 all the way to Dec 27, 2025. That's why I think it's a glitch and some correction will occur.

However I went ahead and booked a 5 night November stay in a 2 bedroom for 13K points per night with a 3 day before cancellation.

I figure by November or much sooner we will know if there are any problems. I was reading recent reviews and most seemed okay. I think I read somewhere that the resort had a fairly recent renovation.

Even though I booked with points and I am Hilton Gold the small print says $150 resort charge in my confirmation email. Maybe it's just boiler plate language.

Yea I'm gold as well but wasn't using points as I was trying to use up the $150 from the Delta Platinum card since I wouldn't have earned that many points booking it through Hilton anyway.

That is interesting as resort charges are supposed to be waived on point bookings.
Maybe because it is a timeshare and not a regular hotel? Fingers crossed you won't be charged.

If the 13k points price holds and the room is decent I won't mind paying the $150, as even parking would be more than that at other hotels.

I went ahead and booked as well, and my confirmation also shows the resort fee total. Like @eticketplease I also wonder if because it's a timeshare property, the perks for Hilton Honors members do not interlink. I can't find anything about it on Hilton.com fine print anywhere, in fact the fine print about "no resort fees" does not list any inclusions/exclusions whatsoever, like some of the other perks do (for example room upgrades or bottled water). I guess it's a wait and see kind of thing...
Like @Judique, I probably won't mind paying the resort fee, since it's around the same that parking would be at another hotel... and the points price is a steal.

Has anyone stayed at a Hilton Vacation Club property in Orlando, either Mystic Dunes or Aqua Sol? DH and I are going to Disney for a long weekend next September, and both of these “resort” properties are only 10k pts a night for a 1 Br king suite, full kitchen and living area, 1000sq foot space, which seems like a steal for the 3 nights we’ll be there. There is also around a $30 resort fee per night, but Hilton members get resort fees waived on points bookings, right? Our needs aren’t much as we’ll just be using room to sleep, amenities will likely be lost on us this trip. I’m afraid I’m missing something here though… is it this cheap bc they try to rope you into a timeshare presentation?

Our family just stayed at Mystic Dunes a couple weeks ago before moving to BLT. We were in a three bedroom which is a main door then two more doors, one leading to a two BR and one leading to a one BR. This set up gave us two full kitchens😂

There was a pool right across from us but it was in the 50’s so we never used it. Our balcony overlooked the golf course, I dont know which hole it was but it must have been a difficult one because we heard a lot of cursing!🏌️‍♂️😆

The rooms were large and clean and a bargain. There was no time share sales tactics here. A few months ago my husband and I sat through the time share presentation, we stayed at the Tuscany Village, which I prefer over the Dunes. But for the “price” (we also stayed on points) I would stay at the Dunes again.

Although this would be almost perfect for my February night, that night is not available unless I book 2 nights with it as the 2nd night. I don't want to be the test case, lol. Going to book Dolphin as it's the best offer near BWV. Swan and Swan Reserve are both over $500.

Now I'm waffling on booking here for 2 nights in February!

Booked the King room with washer/dryer for Feb. Still a tentative booking as I don't really want two nights.

Looking up a little ownership history: Resort was a Wyndham way back, then picked up by Diamond Resorts which are now owned by Hilton Timeshares. It appears it is in the process of being rebranded from the Diamond name to the Hilton name. Some Diamond Resorts, although owned by Hilton Timeshares will retain the Diamond name. Got some of this of Wikipedia and a quick google search so not sure of accuracy.

Did you have to pay the resort fee, since you stayed on points?

Thanks so much for the other info... definitely sounds like a bargain to stay here, especially for the amount of space you get!

Your ownership history is correct…my son use to work for Wyndham….we usually stay at the Hilton Grand Vacations Parc Soleil and enjoy it….looks like the old Wyndham properties are called “ Hilton Vacation”, not “ Hilton Grand Vacations”

A Southwest CC question: my SW Business CC is just over a year old at this point. The annual fee posted on December 1. I have not yet received the 9000 anniversary points. I've been holding off on paying the annual fee or canceling the card until those points post, but now my payment is due tomorrow. If I pay the annual fee, I'll be able to have that refunded as long as I close the card by January 1st, correct? Any ideas when my anniversary points are likely to post?
