when does the priority boarding reset on the swa cc? is it calendar year?
I'm thinking its card anniversary, not calendar year - but not 100% sure off the top of my head.

I think it's going to be a keeper card for me. Between the $300 travel credit and the 10,000 anniversary points, it actually PAYS you $5/year to hold the card! I've only booked hotels through the portal, but it was very easy to cancel and rebook when my plans changed. Plus Priority Pass, cell phone protection, and 2x points on everything, I think it's a good card.Question for those with CapitalOne VentureX. Are you happy with the card? I got an email
to upgrade from my regular Venture to pre approved VentureX. 75k bonus with 4000 spend.
I called and CS said not a formal application just product change. I still assume they do a soft
pull which is fine. My current Venture I pay 59 AF (grandfathered). That 300 travel credit ONLY
through their portal gives me pause. I wish it was flexible like Chase. Any experiences of if you have
to cancel a flight? Thanks
I also have the grandfathered AF. My DH has Venture X. To me, the portal and the anniversary points aren't' worth the upgrade to VentureX in the long run. Portals always give me pause. There have been way too many changes, cancellations and airline meltdowns over the past few years. The earning rate and redemption rate are equal. I would hate to loose the $59 AF since it is one of my oldest cards.Question for those with CapitalOne VentureX. Are you happy with the card? I got an email

I just read about this. What a shame.I also have the grandfathered AF. My DH has Venture X. To me, the portal and the anniversary points aren't' worth the upgrade to VentureX in the long run. It seems like the loss of PP restaurants is a big loss for some.
I cancelled my X. To me the travel credit isn't it worth it, because you have to spend $300 to get $300 and I use miles and points for everything.I also have the grandfathered AF. Quick question about credit to a CC that were used for a MSR.
Our disney trip prices went down when we had to move from Dec to Jan and they issued a credit to the card where I paid the balance, even though they said they'd just hold it as credit until our trip. In order to avoid a clawback, if I use that card in the next few days to get back to a 0 balance, will I be good? I guess I need to make sure of when the period closes?
Edit: "Your next statement period ends on Jan 12, 2023.".
I can try to put as much on asap, but wondered if anyone can report from experience. I'm beyond my 3 months for the MSR, so I hope it's not an immediate thing (I haven't spent any of the points, but still the MSR was 90k). The credit just hit today. I think I'll just buy digital Disney GC today, unless there is a limit, lol. I need to spend ~$750.
Yeah, with more cards I have been setting up alerts. Got an email on the 13th - 'your Ink business card payment is scheduled for the 23rd'. Helpful when juggling cardsI thought I set up autopay on a new chase biz card... not sure if the routing numbers failed, or I failed to do it, lol, but I missed the payment by two days. Late fee- $40, interest charge- $30. Obviously, I made double the payments and set up autopay as soon as I realized. Gave a few days for everything to post. Called the number on the back of the card today, and the first prompt was "press X if you're calling about a fee." I explained and requested they waive the late fee and interest charge. I was hoping they would at least waive the late fee, but I know @havaneselover experienced this recently, and they were not accommodating. He waived both, which I was really surprised by.
So that's your PSA to double and triple check that you've set up your payments. Not sure what the heck I was doing???
Not yet. I'm curious as we have used it at Chef Geoff's at Dulles and the Bracket Room at Reagan. So, I just got the email from Priority Pass that the non-lounge experience benefit is ending Jan 1 for Venture X members. I've been interested to see if the same change is put in place for Priority Pass through CSR. Anyone who has their Priority Pass through CSR get this email yet?
i did it on the disney card they gave me 5% off + 13.99 I wasn't too interested in hulu i can barley keep up with HBO max and netflix. If the offer is if you spend that monthly then you can't sign up for a yearly plan if I'm reading your question correctly. It needs to bill monthly.
Amex is the one that is clawback happy. If it's an Amex, then re-spend the amount ASAP, cross your fingers and hope for the best. There is a theory that if the charge being refunded is the one that put you over MSR, that is more likely to be clawed back.
If it's Chase, no worries, but make it up eventually as best practices.
Hmmm, my Cap One was cancelled in November, but my PP expires 12/7/23. My card would have expired 5/26. Do you think I can still use it?
I have a bill paying APP that alerts me to when all my bills are due. I don't do autopay on my accounts. In the past I've paid from a variety of bank accounts, so I've never gotten in the habit of autopay.I thought I set up autopay on a new chase biz card... not sure if the routing numbers failed, or I failed to do it, lol, but I missed the payment by two days.
