Dis+ subscribers- please help me out here with some calculations- so I have an amex offer of spend 12.99/mo,get $7 back for 12 months..... can I combine a yearly sub using my amex,with the ibotta which is at 15% cb today,and get the year for effective cost of 48.88? I'm calculating 12.99x12=155.88 -15%($23)=132.88-amex credit ($84) =48.88? Thanks...

If the offer is if you spend that monthly then you can't sign up for a yearly plan if I'm reading your question correctly. It needs to bill monthly.

They are saying that Chase PYB is no longer mentioned in the offer page others are saying it’s a permanent benefit. Just a friendly reminder to use the benefit before the end of the year in case things change.

I am not certain, but I think someone reported their PP membership remained in effect after they cancelled their premium card. @LilSweetPeaPhoto was that you?

Yup. It was me. I downgraded my CSR but the PP card was still working until my CSR would have expired. So it stopped working in Oct I think.

If I had to guess, as long as the card it's tied to hasn't expired, I think the PP stay active. Now I have the new CSR and I can't get a PP card activated for it, LOL. I probably just need to call PP and link my card to my old account.

Got an Amazon gift card at Kohls to use the 20% Chase offer. Tried to apply it to my balance and it says "Unfortunately, this gift card claim code is invalid."
Anyone had this happen? Does it take a certain amount of time for the card to activate once purchased?

I had this happen one time with an Amazon gift card I purchased at Kroger and it was a pain in the butt to get fixed but it did get resolved. I believe Kroger had to fix the issue. And the card should have $ on it right away although they might tell you otherwise.

oh JOY This sounds like it's going to be a fun task
I know most of you guys are pros at getting all these discounted gift cards using Chase offers or getting the Staples fee-free ones, but every time I try (which isn't often), something always happens and it turns into more of a hassle than anything! I need some of you guys fortune I guess, lol. This reminds me of why I don't try to do this regularly haha.

Just picked up groceries at Kroger. Original total was $118. With coupons and sales prices it was $63. Will get $20 back from Amex. Plus I got 1,070 fuel points (worth about $20). Nice to get a deal on groceries once in a while.

My Aldi has gift cards in the line by the register. I have a 6% back on groceries AmEx with no AF for a year and have been buying them regularly, so I can use them after the free year is up.

I closed one of my 2 Chase Freedoms recently, but the 5% back x 1.5 when transferred to a CSR is a better deal than the Amex. Really hope the dining PYB continues into 2023.

Your last 4 should be on the email somewhere in small print. Maybe at the bottom under email security information.
