Just made my last Staples trip for the week. Everything is converted and all but $1000 is deposited.
the business has a priority line most of the time depending on what airline, so yes same place just a shorter line, I love lie flats.3 weeks from our London trip.I bit the bullet and bought football (
) tickets today. I've been so convinced it wouldn't happen that I only booked refundable stuff so far.
So anyone with last minute tips for London, let me have have them!
Also having never flown Biz before, is checked luggage collected at the same place for all or is there something different I should know?
the amex lounge in LAS is nice, my wife just went there last year for work.Wife and I are heading to Nashville for a couple days next week. Anybody got any recommendations of things we can't miss?
And it looks like my new job is sending me to Vegas for a week next month. I should have at least a couple nights free, what are the can't miss things that aren't all day? I'll be at the Mirage if that matters at all.
I know for check in there's a AA Priority line but on arrival is luggage pick up same?the business has a priority line most of the time depending on what airline, so yes same place just a shorter line, I love lie flats.
I hope you don't owe too much. Mine turned out to be about $200 (usually get a refund about $1000). I was glad it wasn't more. Even with CC spend I don't want to pay more taxes.Getting my taxes done this morning. Curious to see how much I'll owe from the rental sale. Hoping I saved enough and that it's less but that it also makes a good dent in my surpass 15k free night spend. Know I could do better with a new card but I have a use for the fnc at dlr in Nov. We'll be there Thurs to sun hopefully as long as xmas parties stay thurs/Tues.

Mine was inherited so no purchase price. Was a bit complicated so paid H&R to figure it out. It'll for sure be way more than that. I never decpreciated so she'll be able to do that but I bought it for 65k and sold it for like 145k. I got over 90k after paying my mortgage off. I also file single with no kids so that doesn't help. I do have the improvements and I maxed my IRA but I don't have much else.
the arrival for luggage is the same you get priority this i found to be hit or miss sometimes im first sometimes im lastI know for check in there's a AA Priority line but on arrival is luggage pick up same?
Looking forward to lie flat on 8 hour flight.
basic WoH cc....just got the $95 AF posted..... anyone ever see a retention offer on these? I'd really like to hang onto this, but my current circumstances dictate no extra $$$ for things like AF ....is there any way to PC this card to something no AF?
Can anyone explain how plastiq works? I’m interested in applying for the Cap one biz card with the $50,000 spend in 6 months. I could reach the spend for our biz if I could include our office rent a few times during that 6 months.
Dd, ds and I love to do food tours when we visit different cities. The one that dd and I did in London was especially good. Our guide told us about a 1* Michelin restaurant that offered a set course menu just after the lunch rush for some incredibly low price. We went and though dd couldn't eat much (she's vegetarian), I thoroughly enjoyed every morsel! We will more than likely do another food tour when we go back in May. Also if you visit the Harrod's food court (which I love) close to closing time most of the booths will have reduced prices on their food -- take back to your hotel room for a late (and inexpensive) dinner. If you want traditional fish and chips (a MUST in London IMHO) from a neighborhood pub, we learned by watching that servers don't come to your table; when you're ready to order you give your order to the bartender and the food is brought to your table.3 weeks from our London trip.I bit the bullet and bought football (

Well I took the plunge and applied for my first Biz card, instant approval! Got the Amex Hilton Honors card with a 3K spend in 3 months for 130,000 points + a free night. I am already sitting on 160K+ IHG points so this will be nice too, will be set for hotels for at least the next year! We are going to St. Thomas at the end of the month for a week so I'm hoping Amex can be used most every where!
eta: referral link from my reluctant P2, he got 30K bonus points out of it too.
Using the Chase portal to book things like Harry Potter studio tour, Churchill War Room, airport pickup, RIB boat tour. I figured we'd ask concierge at hotel for local food recs. Absolutely have to do a pub for fish and chips, one of DSs favorite meals.Dd, ds and I love to do food tours when we visit different cities. The one that dd and I did in London was especially good. Not sure what kind of touring you like to do, but we especially loved the Churchill War Room tour. We have done all of traditional tourists sites on our own using the tube (super easy to navigate). Also the Paddington Express from the airport is super easy to use and quite inexpensive relative to getting a cab to your hotel -- we will definitely use this again in May (you can buy your tickets online before you leave and follow the many signs in the airport right to the train). Train to Windsor is easy and you can tour Windsor castle and walk around Windsor (a cute town); we also took the train to Bath, which is beautiful and an easy day trip.
We did the Soho International Food Tour through London Food Lovers and it was outstanding. The guide was a wealth of information, which is how we found out about the 1* Michelin restaurant with a crazy low-price set menu lunch. In May we will use them again but I'd like to try a Borough Market Tour this time.Using the Chase portal to book things like Harry Potter studio tour, Churchill War Room, airport pickup, RIB boat tour. Any particular food tour you recommend? There is a high tea at a hotel near where we're staying, so I thought we'd try that too.
How soon did you cancel? Rule of thumb is to keep at least 1 year. You guys are all pros so this may be old news but Amex just clawed back my SkyMiles reward after cancelling the Delta Gold card. I know claw backs are always a possibility but I've never had it happen outside of a couple dollars of unredeemed cash rewards, but this time they went into my SkyMiles account and took back the full bonus amount.
