Used a Chase offer for BB on my new SW card to get DS an Apple Watch 7 for his birthday. Had $15 in certificates and they price matched Target. I think I'm almost done with Christmas shopping--have to get my parents' gifts to my sister, pick up a gift card for her, and a few Xbox gift cards for DS (will use visa gift cards at Target). DD wants balayage which I tried to talk her out of (I'm a no maintenance hair person) but we're going for a consult next week so that's part of her present.
And after 8 days of prep, I might see some tile in my bathroom soon. Only thing I'm concerned about is my shower head. It's a rain head (wasn't paying attention when I ordered it--just picked what matched my Delta faucets). So now I'm wondering if I need the shower kit with the handheld. I'm scared I'll have dirty hair with the rain head since pressure won't be great. All things considered, I think I'm doing pretty well as an overly analytical person in the middle of a remodel project![]()
That does help. I ended up ordered the rest of the kit from Ferguson. Will be delivered Wednesday. I figure it's easy to add now but once the shower is tiled there's not much I can do. So even if I only use it for cleaning the glass, it looks fancy and pretty. This info may or may not help you...when we redid our master bath we installed a rain head that also had the hand held option. I've never needed the hand held because of lack of pressure. The hand held actually get used the most often when I am cleaning the shower vs. when we are in the shower. So unless you had water pressure issues before, I wouldn't worry about it too much. This is coming from a very analytical person who is now in the middle of planning a whole house remodel. This may do my patience in.Of course, I'll also thinking of how I can use this as an opportunity to get as many points as possible!
Anyone else having trouble generating a support link for their SW cards? I unfrozen my credit today and now I can’t get DH’s to generate a link.

And I can't imagine a whole house remodel. I actually am enjoying the bathroom remodel for the most part and can't wait to see the finished product. My mom has been really good at helping me with decisions. But when I showed her the shower head I ordered all she said was, "that's a really big shower head."
I always unfreeze all 3 so that there aren't any issues with the application.Ugh… I applied for SW business card and unfrozen the wrong credit report, now I have to call in.

Not sure if it's been posted yet, but American Airline's SimplyMiles portal is offering a 5x bonus on many retailers....including a charity donation at Conservation International which is 40miles per $. The 5x bonus is on top of the original 40miles per dollar...so basically 240 miles per dollar spent. This basically equates to $0.0042 cost per mile. I personally donated $500 and should net 120k miles. I know several blogs where people have donated north of $10k. There is some risk that AA changes the terms of the deal, but Gary Leff, blogger from View From the Wing, confirmed the details with his AA contacts and I find him extremely reliable. Below is the link to his updated blog for anyone looking to buy AA miles cheap.

That just gave me flashbacks. My Target gift cards were delivered according to Target. Of course they are no where to be found. I'm wondering if the delivery was to the local post office. And the tracking information is useless. Reminds me of the good old days of ordering disney gift cards from target!
Your first statement close date should be early January, so you should be fine as any points earned now will post then to your RR account.I have a few big expenses coming up, but I want to make sure that my SW points post correctly so I get the CP for next year. I applied on the last day the elevated points were available and my first payment date is February 1st. Will I have a statement close date before then or am I ok to spend above the $2000 before the end of the year?
yay I have it on 2 cards. It works on the bill?Per DOC, check your Amex biz cards for Verizon $75 off $75! I was able to pay $75 on my wireless bill and already got the notification.
