It’s on P2’s CSP (in addition to several of my cards) that needs about $300 more to meet MSR anyway. While the 10% only applies to a small portion, that’s ~$10 free money that also gives me the freedom (pun intended) to put the CSP away and use the higher yielding CF going forward.

My thoughts too! I can knock out my CIC#2 spend while also getting 5x URs this week thanks to OD! Then I can either tackle a new SUB (eyeing the Delta Plat Biz), or use my CIU, or work on the $8k hilton spend (still deciding if I want to do this, LOL).

Here's your friendly reminder that Southwest Airlines next schedule release is expected to occur on WEDNESDAY December 8th. For those planning to snag flights, set those calendar reminders so you don't forget! I'll post additional reminders as the date draws nearer.

Currently SW is offering flights through 4/24/22 and this next release will take their schedule out to 6/4/22. THIS IS A MAJOR ADJUSTMENT FROM MY PRIOR NOTIFICATIONS! Previously this extension was going to cover all of summer through Labor Day, they have now cut 3 months from this release.

For those that care about "release timing" it can vary, but here are the recent "go live" of previous releases:

Any recommendations for a hotel in Munich, Germany? Planning a side trip for DS 24 and I to visit on our way by train from the Ramstein area to a Garmisch.. The rest of the fam will be joining us at Edelweiss military resort in Garmisch on December 28. Just one night December 27. I have UR and Cap One points to use.

I would go CF as it’s a Visa, right? You should be able to use it right away. I wouldn’t wait too long to book as the portal could change anytime.

Yes the CF is a Visa but I want to keep that one since I can't get it anymore and that along with the CFF gives me the ability to double up on 5% categories. One factor I just remembered is I have the CFF because I PC'd my CSP earlier this year. Not sure if that makes a difference to do it again. Is it a big no no to PC my wife's CSP if she has had it for less than a year? Will Chase even do it?

Ok so what I could do is PC my CF to a CSR and then PC my wife's CSP to a CF after a year to get it back. My one question is will my UR automatically be worth 1.5 in the Chase portal right when I get the CSR? Also just so I can confirm that I can do this. Can someone with a CSR tell me the cost in UR to book Universal tickets (3 day park to park) and the Royal Pacific (2 nights). I'm curious how many points it will cost and if it even be done with my existing UR at the 1.5 rate before I PC my card.

Planning a west coast trip this summer and AA is our best non stop option from Phl.

I had the Barclays AA cards in early 2019 and DH has never had any.

Any decent way to get like 230,000 aa miles lol

Your DH should be able to get the Barclay Aviator, 60K miles. unfortunately Barclay removed their 24 months language and now says you are only eligible if you've never had the card.

And both of you should be able to get the Citi Biz, 65K miles. That will get you to 198K with $8K MSR.
You could also get the Citi personal card for another 50K.

Your existing URs stay with the card and can be used to book through the CSR travel portal.
The 2 nights in a standard room either 2 queen beds or 1 king is 58,125 URs..
