To splurge or not to splurge on a new grill…I really want a Weber but ugh that price tag. But I do have the Lowe’s offer and $500 offer that I can stack. To those that have a Weber, is it really worth it? I am just looking at the 3 burner that goes for $569.

Totally worth it. Buy a cheap grill, you'll be replacing it in a few years. You'll have that weber a long time.

So last night I left the sunset a few minutes early to try and hit the FD on my way back to the hotel. I have to laugh, the cashier had to get the manager to run the serve transaction. They were both HELLA happy at the “$400 sale”. The manager thanked me over and over again saying I really helped their numbers. I guess I could have probably loaded $500 with them I’ve only been doing $400 as it’s 2 cards/2 transactions. I hit up WM last night to try and do $200 but they only had 1 line open (they’ve had 2 or 3 most nights this week) and it was really long. I have $800 in VGC left. I plan on buying $1k this morning. I should be able to unload them all before I head home I guess a “free” week at the beach and MSing $3k in VGC is a win/win, LOL. Slightly bummed I didn’t grab $1k yesterday, but I figure I still have 6 mos to get the remaining spend in. I think it’ll be about $7k. So with the $2k in organic spend, that leaves on $5k in VGC to catch at some point, LOL. Who knows maybe when I’m here again in August I can knock that out, LOL.

My flight tonight doesn’t leave till 8pm. And it’s a tiny airport so I don’t show up until like 30 min till boarding, LOL. So I’ve got a lot of time to kill today. I asked for a late checkout, the best they could give me was 12:30pm. I’m really bummed I didn’t keep the room for tonight. UGH. So I’m planning on hanging out here till 12:30pm. Then heading to FD on my way to the beach. I’ll just have to escape to my car mid-afternoon when it gets too hot. And I’ll just have to go home covered in sand, LOL.

My ex (and my kids) are leaving to visit his parents in the UP today. My mom is on her way to NJ and my BF got a trip (he’s in TPA and flying to LAS today). So I had no one to pick me up when I land at 1am. With the way Uber’s have been I’ve been SUPER paranoid that I’m going to get stuck, When the BF left on his trip he left his keys in his car for me at the airport, LOL. So now my panic of getting home is gone

I get to basically unpack and then repack to head to Vegas on Monday .

I think our Webber was more than that even. We got it in 2016, to replace the Webber we inherited (already well used) when we moved up here in 2002. So yes, worth the price

Mine did Discover first then the regular Freedom Unlimited probably a year or less later. I’m not sure how the student Freedom card differs since it wasn’t around then

No rotating cats and I believe a lower income for qualification. She has a low CL which is fine since I just wanted her to have her "own" with Chase so in the future hopefully approval will be easier.

Just tried to apply for the BBP through the doc link for 30k mr sub plus 10k mr via AU card spend but I guess I wasn’t targeted. Tried the 50k MR link also but not targeted on that one. Any tips on getting one of these higher sub’s? I’d rather have the lower MSR so I don’t tie up all my spend for the next year which would keep me from getting other cards.

I'm looking for some card recommendations. We are about to finish the MSR on my wife's SW card. We both have had a CSP bonus in the last 4 years. I could use her support link for the current SW bonus but I wanted to see what else was out there. We have young kids so we don't travel a ton but I'm not opposed to airline points/miles if they don't expire as we would like to start taking some trips just her and I in the coming years.

Offer better than before, MSR might be higher (can't remember) - 75k miles and $200 credit after 1 Delta purchase, $4000 spend, AF waived. Available via support. Happy the 30k elevated support on my Gold came back, though I used it once already, so will hit the max and get 25k.

Some come with 12 months 0% APR on purchases, if that matters to anyone.

Motion sickness update!

Since you guys were so helpful and kind with your motion sickness recommendations I thought I would let you know the Bonine worked like a charm. I gave it to DD about 1hr before our trip, and both there and back she felt great! She commented a few times, saying she couldn’t believe how good she felt.

We bought a Weber gas grill at least 10 years ago0 it's the oddly shaped one (kind of like a flying saucer) made entirely out of aluminum and cast iron. It's been great and still going strong!(unlike previous cheaper grills we've had)

Nice! I didn't look at the links just the article. I imagine if I don't have retention when the af hits I won't at the end of the month but I know things can change. But it's one of my least used cards because of Fred's not being groceries to them when it is everyone else.

I need some advice please! Our family of 4 (DH, me, DS10 and DD8) are supposed to go to Hawaii next month and I have some questions!

Our original AA flights (all booked on points) were updated so now we’re flying 8 am – 9:24 am ICT to DFW, then 1:25 pm – 4:17 pm OGG. This means we’ll have a 4 hour layer in DFW before our (almost) 8 hour flight to Maui. I noticed that online there’s a flight from ICT to DFW at 10:43 am – 12:07 pm. Do you think I should see if we can get changed to the later flight? I’m a little scared that wouldn’t give us much time to eat, and if our flight is late we could possibly miss the OGG flight. But, 4 hours seems like a really long time in DFW. Which brings me to my next question. DH and I both have the Aspire, which I believe gives us Priority lounge access and should allow the kids to be able to get in also, correct? Is there more than one lounge there? I’ve never actually been in an airport lounge (I feel like such a newb!) What is there to do there? Eat? Anything for the kids? Where is it located? I looked online and it seems like there are different ones in different terminals – is that right?

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for great excursions? We’ll be in Maui 4 nights and Oahu 4 nights.

DD20 Got the 7-10 day. On a different Chase card. She didn't want to call. Waited for the letter and they just needed her to confirm her info. She sent it back and was approved.

Thanks for the (somewhat) recent discussion on using credit cards to buy a car. In the process of buying a new car and thought to ask if we could pay any of it with a credit card. Only $2000, but that’s 3000 URs I’ll take on my CFU! I never would have even thought to ask if y’all had discussed it. Love this board!!!
