Well I’m an idiot ...when I signed up just looked at my Chase personal cards...ugh my business cards have the 15,000 offer :(
Don't stress too much - yesterday my business cards had 7,500 and now I see one with 12,000. I'm going to sign up with my son's AU card to see if it tracks.
EDIT: I see the cost of the plans, whatever. For those costs, they should be guaranteeing me returns. However, if you click through the $99 "Shop this Offer", the fine print is there, but the offer still shows 12,000 points. Will post back if I get a Chase email from my son's card.

When did sign up?
Yesterday afternoon. Had trouble getting into the offer page (lots of spinning), then when I finally did and filled it out & clicked sign up, got a spinning wheel until it timed out. Got an AmEx email almost immediately, and something from MF that I had signed up, but no acknowledgement from Chase.

I’m in the same boat. Got the Amex email immediately when I signed up last night. Never got a chase email. Also shows that I visited MF but doesn’t show the transaction :-/ anyone have experiencing canceling this for a refund?

I checked mine again tonight and it is the same as yours. I am not going to bother having my P2 sign up until I see if mine tracked.

I finally got my Amex email saying I used the offer, but now I'm the only one here who doesn't have any URs pending. :(

I don't have any URs pending either (so far as I can tell). Nothing under "recent transactions," but "store visits" does show MF and a correct order amount, so maybe the URs will show up somewhere sometime?

Mine doesn't show any orders at all, just the visits, so yours sounds more promising.

You're supposed to use your Chase card. From FAQ:
"To be eligible for the additional points, you must use your Chase card with Ultimate Rewards to pay for your order at the online retailer's site."

So in theory this double dipping shouldn't work. But in practice, I think it just works like any other shopping portal, so they don't know what card you used. If it didn't track though, I don't think you can go back and ask them for it. Now that Motley Fool is upset, I wonder if Chase has a way to verify what card you used. Or maybe the e-mail to FM was just a scare tactic to stop the bleed lol.
Yes, and for what it's worth, the same is true of the Citi shopping portal.

You can check in the offer terms. In the past, upgrade offers haven't had lifetime language. But there was a DP recently that a 25k plat upgrade offer did. There's speculation that taking an upgrade offer helps with the pop-up (but who knows).

Thanks! I'm thinking this is something I should probably jump on then. The terms just say I have to have an MR account, no bold statement about not available for previous card holders like I see when looking at the Green card.
I really need to get DH a new card and not me, but maybe I can convince him to add this one to his mobile wallet.

Thank you! I think I have 330K URs and like 25k MRs. My daughters #1 request is business class or 1st class, LOL. I guess my biggest concern is the flights. Hotels are much less of a concern, as my DD doesn't really care as much about where we sleep, LOL. Is there a good way to figure out the best airline to book the flights through? I need to get from DTW to Ireland. I can fly out of Toronto too, which I've hear going out of Canada is often way cheaper (at least when it comes to paying out of pocket). I know from reading sometimes you get better redemptions booking a different mileage currency on an airline.

You’re welcome 😊 Unless I am looking to fly in a specific plane like an Emirates with shower, Singapore suites new or classic plane etc. I start with Google flights or other flights search engine. What I’m looking for is which airline has the most flights from my chosen airport to the destination. I don’t want to be on an airline that has one flight daily if it gets cancelled that day. Then I will narrow down the airlines and see which has planes with lie flat seats by checking them on Seat Guru. This usually will now give me at least two airlines to focus on to accumulate miles. I usually choose the airline that offers multiple ways of earning said miles. Hope this helps.

Greetings all! Short time lurker, first time poster. I’ve been debating between the Southwest Card and the Chase Sapphire Reserved (leaning towards the Chase).

Then I got an offer in the mail yesterday that when I first saw it I thought why would I do this, it’s worse than their offer online. Then I re-read it...receive 30,000 miles after $5k spent in 3 months AND companion pass until Feb 2022.

I was leaning CSR mainly because of flexibility since we don’t really fly SW exclusively. Being a family of 6, flying is costly and I look for the best deals (which is usually Spirit). But now the instant companion ticket has perked my interest.

Zero cards opened in the last 2 years. With all monthly expenses, could easily put $2k on the card. In the past usually didn’t pay off cards monthly, but have recently flipped that to caring $0 balance. Fly out of MCI and SW does service us. As far as hotel preferences, it’s usually best hotel for best deal, VRBOs, and DVC. Only have SW rewards. Would mainly like to have large family trips to Hawaii, overseas, return trips to WDW...family trips where rewards can help lessen the out of pocket expense.

Thanks!
