Did the Motley Fool offer for DH last night. Got the Amex email immediately for him, wow. Never received the chase email though. Hopefully this tracks for us all!🤞 I don’t want or need this for any other reason, even if it’s only $6 😂

I need the easy button for our trip to Hawaii. We are not new to big busy trips, but we are taking our parents but don't know how to prioritize Islands. We would love to visit Kauai, Maui & Big Island.

Anyone have a good itinerary? Plan is to visit summer 2022 (no set dates, 14 days max). Goals are to get national parks stamps, DD wants to see lava flows, road to Hana, some down time and waterfalls.
So we did 4 islands on our 2 1/2 week trip. Definitely agree with others that you need a week on each island. But now we know our favorites, and I’d go back specifically to Maui and Big Island for a week each. We did not care too much for Kauia and we wouldn’t go back. We couldn’t get a Napali boat tour (the weather didn’t cooperate any day we were there and so no tours went, which was the MAIN reason for us going to this island). We did Waimea Canyon and a few waterfalls which was awesome, but I’d honestly trade those for more days in Maui. It was awesome there.

The new CIC that DH applied for on Wednesday showed up in his online account today. $3000 CL, SM'ed to see if they will move some from his CIP which has $6000 now. The AF on that should hit Feb 1 and I plan to close it now that he has his shiny new card. Will do a test run with taxes once it arrives and report back.

Got the AmEx email bout MF sign-up, but nothing from Chase. I had an issue with the sctreen timing out before getting an official confirmation, and there is no tracking of the shop visit anywhere I can see, I'll be watching that.

Hey look - a bandwagon!

I'm in for 7500 UR x2 with the Chase UR portal plus AmEx Motley Fool offer. Thanks to everyone who shared!

EDIT - just went for three with my daughter's account.

EDIT AGAIN - in for a penny, in for a pound. 7500 UR x4 - me, DW, DD1, DD2, plus 6000 UR for DD3.
Just sharing an update - went in for me, my DW, and my 3 daughters who are authorized users on a couple of AmEx cards. Used 3 Freedom Unlimited's (my oldest daughter has her own), a Chase Ink Cash, and a Freedom. We'll see if it all comes through.

I forgot about my AUs. My kids might be signing up too! Never too young to learn about the market.

Does anyone know if this auto renews?

It auto-renews in a year. Cannot cancel before 60 days.
So is turning off auto renewal the same thing as canceling? It seems to me that a subscription is still active if you turn off auto renewal. And the 60 days is for the UR points? I do not see those terms on the Amex offer.

When I was looking at my Amex (biz card) offers, I saw an offer to get 0% APR for 6 months. That seems like a great deal for anyone who wants to float a balance for awhile and not have it report to the credit bureaus.

I just googled "Motley Fool Amex Offer" to see what cards these were on. According to Frequent Miler the stacking of Promo's is dead. They caught on to everyone getting AMEX credit and then miles of some sort with different programs. Just a heads up - I am a day late as usual...

This always amazes me--they didn't see this coming???

Hello! I'm new to posting on this thread but have been following along. I have had a Chase Freedom Unlimited card for a number of years now and pretty much put everything I can onto it for the UR and of course pay it off (usually weekly). I was just approved for a Sapphire Preferred and will of course charge the 4K in 3 months for the 60K UR. My question is, after that period, should I continue to use the CSP instead of the CFU for my normal purchases? I also have a Chase SW card that I haven't used in over a year, not sure what to do with that one.

Thanks for any and all help, I'm in awe in what some of you have been able to do!

Unless Chase pulls the offer, how can it be dead? All you are doing is signing up through the Chase portal, not doing anything wrong.

I was wondering about this. Thinking I should have just done the SW portal. I was worried about Chase not being happy about you not using the Chase card.
I can't find anything about other cards in the FAQ but I found this...

  • Will I still receive bonus points if I pay through PayPal?
Yes. The order is tracked when you click from Shop through Chase® to the store site. As long as you complete your purchase before clicking away from the store's website, your purchase will be eligible to earn bonus points. Before using PayPal, Google Pay or other alternative payment processes, check with each store's terms and conditions to confirm bonus points eligibility.

I agree, if they don't want people to double dip then don't offer incentives to more than one company.

ETA: I do see Chase's terms say cannot be combined/stacked with any other offer. Guess we'll see what happens.
