anyone know how long the UR's take to show up so we know for sure?

I got the Chase e-mail showing I used the offer about an hour later. I see the points pending under My Shopping Details too. But not sure when it showed up since I didn't know where to look at first (did this last night).

Looks like the second one I tried to do didn't track. I'm thinking it's because I was still logged into the first Motley Fool account. When I saw that, I logged out of Motley Fool and clicked through again, but maybe the cookies still tracked it. Should have started over with a new browser.

I feel like I should know this or be able to find it, but I just can't seem to! Any DP on whether I can buy gift cards at grocery stores and use my Platinum Amex for 10X MR? I feel like I heard no...but then I think that was maybe just to make the MSR, which I've done? I need to buy about $1000 in gc today and I don't want to use my Amex if it isn't going to trigger (or will be clawed back). I'll use my Freedom (where I'm still 5x UR)

so to do this, I just shop through the Chase portal and pay with the Amex card, correct?

My AF for my Amex Biz Plat just posted Tuesday and I tried chatting this AM for a retention offer and was told I had no offer on my account. Is it better to call? If they don't end up offering anything, when is the latest I can downgrade or cancel the card to get out of the AF? I used my airline credit already, but not my dell. Can I use my 2021 credits if I end up changing/cancelling without penalty?

For us (last week), EPCOT was the best park during the day. Almost no waits for rides but the world showcase got pretty crowded by evening. I wanted to go on the frozen ride, which had little wait all day. But by the time we got there in the evening, it was too long to bother. Those construction walls, though, yikes.

Magic Kingdom was by far the worst. It was Saturday (and not MLK weekend) so I'm guessing that played into it, but I kept wondering if there was a holiday that I was missing because I couldn't believe the number of people. We got there around noon and waits in the afternoon seemed to be around 50 mins for most things. Should have gotten there early, but I had a teen who didn't want to get up early on his birthday. :upsidedow Some areas were super crowded. And rides with long waits that had queues into main walking areas without ropes (I'm looking at you, Haunted Mansion) were a free for all. It was so crowded that people were just hopping into lines at random places, not realizing where the line started. I joked to DS that you know it's bad when the teacups and Mickey's Philharmagic had a wait. :rotfl: It emptied around 7pm (for 9pm closing) and was great then.

DHS wasn't too bad. Though for the first time we did not get a boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance at 7am. Had no problem getting one thanksgiving week. Luckily did get one at 1pm. We skipped AK.

ETA: We went on Smugglers Run (I think that's the name, not a star wars fan but DS is) and ended up put with another group of 2, they got the pilot seats so we were in the back. Engineers, I think, but really you do absolutely nothing. So DS wanted another try and we went again. Luckily we were by ourselves that time and able to be pilots. I've got to say, I've been on it several times and never been a pilot (because I have 2 teen boys who always jump in those seats). That ride is way more fun when you're a pilot, I'm going to start fighting them for it from now on. Also, we had a wait in a virtual queue to be able to look at the "legacy lightsabers," that's never happened before. It was quick though.
FYI: To anybody else planning a multi-day trip, Magic Kingdom on a Saturday needs to be a hard NO right now. In my research leading up to this trip it was apparent that Saturdays are REALLY rough at MK. Our original plan had us at AK on Fri and MK on Sat but upon watching wait times for a couple weeks in preparation, I reversed them about 2 weeks ago.

You have 30 days after the AF posts for a full refund. I don't think there's any difference between chat or call. You can use your 2021 credits. There's no good downgrade option since the Biz Green is still $95 with not much benefits (and definitely don't do it if you haven't had the card before). I would just cancel if no retention offer.

I'll get on using the dell credit ASAP just in case. I have a biz green, but if they won't offer anything for retention at all in the next few weeks I'm guessing I've already fallen out of their good graces and shouldn't bother paying a $95 fee to keep them happy.

Anything special I need to know before booking a Disney resort via AAvacations? I don't plan to use the rental car (split-stay), do I need to notify them or just not pick it up?

I'm short some points so plan to just pay the $143 in cash, will use CSR for travel credit.

I'm looking at a 1bed at Kidani (unless I decide something else), will I still get free parking as DVC (possibly renting a car)? I can never keep up with who pays what parking fees everywhere. I think since it's DVC and I'm DVC I'm free parking no matter how it's booked/paid.

For people who have done a refinance recently, did you find your business cc & balances were invisible during application?

We didn't refinance, but when we bought a house last summer, they only saw the credit pulls for new accounts, not the balances. We had to show a statement from the new accounts that resulted from pulled credit within 90 days of our loan application. They were oblivious to the other business accounts though.

So did I and the Shop through Chase email came almost immediately after purchase.
I feel like such an idiot, never having shopped through Chase. Is there a Motley fool offer somewhere on the chase website?

And an Experian question-

We have an email acct which we've held for a very long time, it's a simple username with no added numbers, etc and would be applicable to many people. It gets used by a lot of people. I actually threatened a teacher that I would go to her school board if she didn't stop emailing private student information to an incorrect email address, had already responded to her twice. Susan gets her dining reservations canceled quite often, I have located her and reached out to ask her to stop using it as well as replied to her medical colleagues to do that same. I wonder how her dog is doing. And that kitchen remodel for the other couple, I wonder if they accepted the quote. Anyway, that's a bit important.

I have a free Experian acct set up using this email address. A few days ago I started getting emails from Experian for someone else at this email address. First, why (and even how!) does Experian allow two accts to use the same email? Membership ID is listed on each email and this one is different from the Experian acct I own. Second, what do I do? I'm sure, or at least hope, a password reset involves more than just email access, but I'm still a tad worried that this person might be able to access my acct. I feel like the email address would have needed to be verified when the acct was made. I watch this acct daily and haven't noticed anything unusual that leads me to believe someone else is accessing it. I will change the password though.

no they were not.
Thank you for responding, since I know you are in the industry. But I'm sorry, I got confused by the double negatives. Are you saying the biz accounts were or were not visible during the loan process?
