Last week the Steelers... now this week, my man Drew Brees??? This is terrible! I love Drew, I hope he isn't done, but if he is, he seems very content. I've loved him since he went to New Orleans after Katrina, what a great person he's been for that city!

The Bills showed real class with donating to Lamar’s favorite charity after his concussion during Sat’s game. And it was so sweet after the game ended Tom playing football with Drew’s kids.

I know some of you have done Grand Canyon and other western National Parks. My son is getting married at Zion in September. We have accommodations there. We plan to add on a couple of days in Vegas and then I'd love to see the Grand Canyon while we are west. Would love any recommendations. Seems I might be too late to get lodging at the park. We wouldn't be hiking...just sight seeing.

You are not alone. Also denied for CIU a few weeks ago - reason given was business structure. I already hold a CIC and have legitimate business income. Decided not to call recon at the time so don't know if that would have been successful.

FWIW, I applied under a leisure industry business sector - and there seems to be some anecdotal evidence out there that Chase have tightened lending criteria for certain business sectors deemed to be more at risk to Covid disruption - Rental income also seems to be on that list.

My husband grew up just south of Buffalo and was in high school/college during their four Super Bowl runs. He's so, so excited to watch this team. And the "Bills Mafia" is inspiring with their donations. They have donated to Andy Dalton's charity and in memory of Josh Allen's grandmother and many others. What's so cool is that it's lots of people making small donations that add up to big impact.

I was really hoping to see a Saints/Bills Super Bowl. Drew Brees is a class act.

Keep checking the xanterra site. Things will open up. May not get your first choice, but you should be able to get something. When we went first week of June I was able to make reservations in March and even changed them after that.

If you are planning on a SW personal card I was approved for a personal card 5 days after a business denial last May.

Are you looking at doing a MDD for 2 SW personals? You can go for one immediately... the thing I'm not clear on is, could you attempt 2 SW personals right after your denied biz card. That would put you at 3 applications in a 30 day window... and could cause an issue.

I'm not trying to scare you, but I don't want your MDD to fail. Chase used to have 0/30, 1/30, and 2/30 rules around applications that we rarely discuss anymore since nobody is getting 3 Chase cards in a month anymore like the old days.

We went to Zion a couple of years ago and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Springdale. Higher end HIE with a great pool, outdoor fire pits, nice views, breakfast, and can walk to everywhere in town. Just outside the National Park. We also did Vegas, but not the Grand Canyon. We did do Hoover Dam which I would recommend.

Ooh, that's good to know. I've been trying to decide whether to try for a CIU or the SW MDD before 2/8. I thought about trying for the CIU, then if denied trying the MDD, but I guess now I really need to make up my mind.

I was going to research first, but I'm open to either MDD of personal or 1 of each (that's what we did for DH last year). But since I got the CIU denial I'm not sure if a SW biz card would be a good idea... could wait until after I file so I have my EIN if that makes a difference these days.

Yeah I had no trouble with CIP before, so who knows I started a nutrition coaching business last year and even though it's not lucrative yet, it's legit. Oh well. Maybe I picked the "wrong" category or maybe they didn't like that I added a DBA. Guess I can try again in a few months if I want.
