For SW biz cards, is there a "family" rule like there is for personal cards? I'm trying to determine when I would be eligible to apply for a SW biz card. Also trying to decide whether to try for a biz card or personal with the elevated personal sub....

Any hotel suggestions for San Juan? We have 2 nights pre-cruise and 2 nights post-cruise. I currently have the Marriott booked pre and Caribe Hilton for post.

You should be OK with those choices. The best pools in the area - the Marriott beach is way better though. The Sheraton by the convention center is a good choice if the beach is not important to you - close to RCCL cruiseport.

No you can get both business cards…need to wait 24 months after receiving the sign up bonus on the card and be under 5/24

Question on cancelling my SW Biz card. My annual fee posted 11/1/21 - I referred DH to the card and my 20,000 points has posted along with my 9,000 anniversary points.

Is it safe to go ahead and close, or should I wait until closer to the due date (12/6/21)?

I have a question about business cards. I am on my HOA board and I get offers for business cards at my house for the HOA. Could I qualify based on that?

Tried to find these answers but the airline websites feel like a maze to me. I have AA and Delta points. I normally just fly Southwest but it might be better to use these other points I don’t have another use for. Planning Sept 2022 trip to Portland Or. So the question: what are the rules for canceling an award flight on AA and Delta? Do all the miles get refunded? Any fees charged? Thanks.

Does anyone know if you use an employee card instead of the main account card on the SW biz card if that triggers the credits like upgraded boarded?

I canceled my st. Kitts flights with AA and the points were returned almost immediately and the fees took a few days.

Thanks. DH and DS prefer nice pools but we might try the beach also. I had looked at the St. Regis but it seemed kind of far out and we won’t have a car.

My BB saga continues. After three calls I finally got a human on the line who told me to go to the store. I told him I wasn't going to the store to correct their mistake with an online order. So he said he'd send this to the back office. I've tried to rectify them giving me a free Apple Watch. If they fix it is on them at this point.

And I just used my Walmart+ account to have Gatorade shipped. It's impossible to find Grape Gatorade Zero in the stores here so if Walmart wants to ship it to me, more power to them. I noticed they will also ship soda.

Thought I'd share in case anyone else is in this boat - P2 qualified (and essentially extended the one expiring at year end) for the promotional SW CP back in October. It worked out well as we have three long weekend trips in Jan and Feb planned and I don't have to rush to hit the spends on on my Personal (approved 10/20) and upcoming SW Biz. I've had P2 flights booked for a while now and as I was checking to see if prices may have changed I noticed that our MLK weekend return from MCO flight only had one seat left so I went to add companion and there was no button to do so. Couldn't figure it out. Went back and found the "congrats in earning promotional CP" email, and saw that you aren't able to add the companion until after the Jan 6th (when the promotion starts). I just assumed that since it was earned, we'd be able to go ahead and book. I have plenty of RR's so I secured a seat with them and will cancel and rebook as a companion on Jan 6th. I'm thinking even if flight remains sold out as it is now, canceling P1s flight will free up a spot and I can rebook P1 as a companion. Probably should call though saying what I want to do at the time - I don't want to cancel and somehow someone grabs the spot in the time between cancelling and rebooking. Anyway just be warned, I wasn't fully aware of the terms of the promotional CP and don't want anyone stuck on a full flight without being able to add companion.

Delta miles go back instantly, no change fees. The booking fee is refunded in a day or two.

Not a hub, Madison, WI so a small regional airport. No Red Coats there but that is great info for the future!

We just connected in Atlanta and are on the plane to JAX. Last row by the bathroom (again) and they made us check our carry on bags stating the bin space was gone. Completely not true! Plenty of bin space when we boarded.

Delta really disappointed me today!!

They did that on my flight to Vegas. They don't board by "groups", they board by rows. So I wasn't able to go on till the very end as I was the row right behind comfort plus. (I have the credit card, so I SHOULD board earlier normal). It was the VERY rare time I was doing a carry on, as I was w/ the BF and he only uses a carry-on, LOL. He got to bring his on (dang pilot privilege). They forced me to gate check......When I got on, three bins on each side of the row by my seat were open. I was VERY mad! LOL.

I had no intention of signing up for Walmart+ until the AMEX Rep mentioned it last week during our chat to get a retention offer for the plat.
I signed up and have used it twice so far.
DD 4 is skinny and only certain leggings stay up on her. One of which is Walmarts toddler leggings, which of course they never have her size. Ordered 3 pairs which was nice to not have to spend $35 for free shipping.

LOL. The next was 2 bags of hot Cheetos. DD17 is obsessed with hot Cheetos so I buy her 2 bags a month. Our grocery store is twice as much and constantly out of stock. So I ordered them from Walmart. Dh was like why are you ordering hot Cheetos online? If Walmart and Amex want to bring me hot Cheetos with no shipping I’m not going to fight it🤷‍♀️

Okay CSR question....AF posted 11/1. Payment for that will be due 12/13. Here's the message they gave me when I asked when my credit resets....

Amy, next year's credit begins after statement closing date in December 16, 2021. We automatically apply this credit to your account when you use your card to make purchases in the travel category, up to an annual maximum of $300.00 total. "Annual" means the year beginning with your account date through the first December statement date of that same year, and the 12 billing cycles starting after your December statement date through the following December statement date each year.

So can I double dip or not? I will have to pay the AF by 12/13. Can I cancel like 12/20 and get money back?
