I always thought the offers were cumulative. Thanks for posting this, as I've considered doing two transactions such as I would with an Amex offer in some situations. I just went back and read the disclaimer and looks like a one shot deal. I'll definitely be more careful when I look at these offers in future.

I think some are, I have seen some that are "until you reach $xx" but this one specifically said "one time use".

The thing is there is no logical reason he would’ve been denied unless we mis typed something on the application, which I guess is possible.

0/24, last sapphire bonus 5/2017, one chase card with a lower limit, income around 200k.

Alas. I guess I’ll wait for the letter
I got 7-10 day message two weeks ago. Called immediately and they offered to approve me upon shuffling credit. Letter ended up showing up and the reason they gave was that I wast utilizing credit currently extended by chase. Ended up going for MDD and got 7-10 day message again, closed out and logged in and was approved with a huge limit lol. i suggest you maybe call, it could just be needing to move credit around.

ok..... so this is interesting..... Marriott at 50% transfer from UR portal? anyone else see this as interesting?
.....aaaaannnddd the new Freedom offers out (via DoC).... how would I go about 'stacking the flex grocery offer with the q4 category offer on freedom?

Personally, i cannot imagine it being interesting even with 50% bonus. But it is not hard to just look at the math. I have only used marriott (and formerly spg) for dolphin, back when it was a good value. this is only an example but illustrates my point- I am sure there are much better redemptions out there:

Using current dates for my upcoming stay, and redeeming enough points for 5 nights (to get the free night), would be 200,000 points +$196.88 in tax/fees. Total cost would be 133,333 UR (using 50% bonus) +$196.

Alternatively, if you purchased w/ prepay rate for the same stay at dolphin, the total is $1365.75 including taxes and fees. you could achieve this redemption by purchasing visa gift cards at a grocery store and then redeem ~93,000 UR to cover the cost using PYB.

option 1, transferring to mattiott : 133,333 UR +$196

option 2 using PYB: 93,000 UR (just a little trickier and not sure about prepaying with visa gc, but I would personally just redeem this amount towards necessities like groceries and gcs I would use for meals, gas, etc. and then pay the hotel out of pocket- this way earns points on the stay too!)

Option 3: My favorite, buy $2000 in disney gcs and erase the charge with PYB and then use these for disney resort/food/souvenirs/tickets. $2000 easily gets you 5 nights in a moderate and potentially close to some of the more accessible deluxe, maybe even yacht or wilderness lodge with the right discount around. same dates this would yield 5 nights coronado tower +~$400 spending money.

This is only an example of comparing these redemption options... It is very possible that your desired redemption hold much greater value than PYB yields. I just picked random resort and dates to illustrate the process I would use and it came out just as I expected.

I've had trouble finding new shorts this year, either they don't have any, are ugly or don't fit. I thought I'd use my saks credit to get a pair but I've never bought any clothes from Lily Pulitzer before. The patterns are pretty but not my style. These shorts are solid navy 😊

For those that have bought lily stuff, do they fit close to size? I can see the measurements but also know that doesn't necessarily mean anything when it comes to how stuff fits.

So I buy Lilly's dresses and tops but typically not bottoms. I would say they run true to size. Also, if there are reviews on Lilly's website, that may help.

I just bought 3 pair of Lily shorts and I would say they are true to size. I have been living in them. They have some nice Vineyard Vines shorts too. It looks they are the same stretch material as 2 of the ones I just got.

I find their stuff to run short, not necessarily small but short. but I’m 5’9”, so other people may not have this problem

Yes, those are the ones. I don't need another pair of navy but I like them and the pink VV didn't have my size. I only need one more pair for this year.

I'm 5'4" so they should be ok. I just worry about where on the waist things fit. We don't need super low rise anything buy I am not into high rise, I was so glad when the waists started dropping when I was in college.

I'm starting to see pleated shorts and pants though and that's one thing that no man or woman needs to wear, they don't look good on anyone.

They are definitely not high rise and the material is very forgiving. (I’m 5’ 3”). I should have probably sized down in the one pair but DH was hurrying me to get to dinner.

Friends, I've been thinking of you and wanted to post. I broke my shoulder last week. Was on a run and fell badly. So I'm in a sling for six weeks.

Things have been nutty but now I'm feeling a bit better and ready to catch up here. :crutches:

Confirms my suspicions that running is bad for your health and why if you see me running it’s because something is chasing me. Or perhaps last call for food or alcohol 🍺. Lol

Hope you mend quickly!
