I was able to load serve at FD this morning too..I avoid the Walmart by me....have $200 to try tomorrow at FD
It looks like it's only Walmart that being affected by this, FD still okay. But makes you think that we always need a back up plan.
Went back to the same WM from this morning and was able to liquidate $800, plus another $400 at FD.
I will go back to the other WM that declined 2 cards after I take the girls to gymnastics. I will probably go buy more VGCs on Friday, but will limit myself to only having $1k at a time. I can’t imagine $35k.

Sent Chase a SM last night asking to match the 75k CIU offer. Just received message approving the request. 👍🏻 Thanks for the tip yesterday

ETA: Card was approved on Oct. 8th
Mine says they "may" be able to match it after I hit the spend.

I have an email from Amex "inviting" me to apply for the Business Gold, $295 AF and 50,000 MRs after spending $5000 in 3 months. Is that the standard offer? I really don't pay a ton of attention to Amex but it's always good to keep my options open.

Aside from restaurants I doubt I'd use any of the 4x categories... oh maybe gas stations too.

I try to track these things (somewhat). The biggest (maybe not the best) I have recorded is 75k for 10k spend

That's the standard offer, my first Amex was the Biz Gold it was 75K with $5K MSR.

This is the message I received

Our records show that you haven't met the spending requirement yet. Once you meet the required spend, please reply to this email and we will add the additional bonus points. We'll post the original bonus points to your account within 6 to 8 weeks after the billing cycle in which you qualify.

I’m not sure that helps you out much, but hopefully you’ll get the match too.

I would hate to go out of my way to spend that much (especially with such a low CL) and “may” get it, but really what else am I doing? It’s not as though I’m missing out on a more lucrative bonus elsewhere by focusing on this one.

I hear ya! You “may” 😂 want to consider sending them another message asking for clarification. It would be kind of disappointing to go the effort of hitting the spend and then not getting the additional points. I have a $3k limit so it will take some additional effort to manage the spend. So I think I understand your situation.

Yeppers my CL is $3K as well!

Actually I just went back and re-read it (this afternoon was a bit of a rush) and this is what it says, which seems more definitive and yet not:

537928

$3,000 CL here when I received my instant approval on the CIC earlier this week....logged in to my DH’s account this morning and he was approved overnight...same $3k CL

Happened to me as well. I did have a CIP that was going to be closed a month later so I moved some CL from there to push my new CIU up to 5000. I waited a week or two after receiving the card

I don't think I left enough on my others to play with!

I'll try my best to make it work. If not... it's not the end of the world I suppose.

Thanks to @Albort I just spent a boatload of Chase points! I have been thinking of applying for a new card, so now I really need to replenish. DH is 1/24 and last applied for the CIP in April. His only other Chase card is the CSR (1/19). Any thoughts between the CIP/CIC/CIU for him? I am probably leaning to the CIU right now, but know there have been recent denials. I have all those cards, so we are not trying to fill a gap. Not sure the extra 25K in points is worth the addl spend for the CIP. We have a real business so we won't be applying as a sole prop. Anything I am missing??
