I applied and was approved for the CFU 9/3 from my DH support link. The support points haven't posted to his account. I sent a SM to chase, first response was it can take 8 weeks, I replied back that it had been 10 weeks. In the SM so far I have just said a friend, not spouse. They are asking for the account number (so my cc account #) so they can assist. Is there any reason I should not proceed with this since it was a spouse support? I don't want to risk anything over 10,000 points.

Not at all. Spouse to spouse support is perfectly acceptable.

I would love to apply for this or have dh do it but I’m not sure we’re out of pop up jail. We’ve been doing all of our spending on my BBP but I don’t know if it’s helped. As I’m typing this I sent it to dh and he responded saying he was just looking at the offer lol

Thanks to @Albort I just spent a boatload of Chase points! I have been thinking of applying for a new card, so now I really need to replenish. DH is 1/24 and last applied for the CIP in April. His only other Chase card is the CSR (1/19). Any thoughts between the CIP/CIC/CIU for him? I am probably leaning to the CIU right now, but know there have been recent denials. I have all those cards, so we are not trying to fill a gap. Not sure the extra 25K in points is worth the addl spend for the CIP. We have a real business so we won't be applying as a sole prop. Anything I am missing??

I agree with you, the extra spend is not worth it on the CIP. I would apply for the CIU or CIC.

I think I'm going to buy DD2 an Ipad for Christmas using Chase points. But I don't know if I should just use my credit card to earn some points and then just use PYB.

I was wondering why I was able to pull up this offer yesterday morning. It was a little confusing so I wondered if they were going to come out with a 100k mr offer. Nice. Even more tempting, so I will probably try it. Here’s hoping that those of us that go for this don’t get the popup.

The one thing I’m not sure about is getting the extra MRs on the gas and supermarket categories. We use shipt for groceries so I don’t think we would get any extra MRs for that

Just FYI I was only able to pull the Platinum 100k offer in regular Chrome browser. Incognito on Chrome and Safari were 75k offer.

Are the only cash back perks now the Uber credits and the Saks credit? I see DOC mentions the $200 airline credit but I don't see that listed on their card benefit page anywhere. Am I missing it?

I’m in the same position. We wouldn’t use any of the credits so it’s hard to justify the AF. Dh wants to try for the blue cash every day instead

I have used the airline credit on SW for fares less than $100. Then turn it into travel funds.
As far as Saks goes, my DD likes Benefit cosmetics. They are on there as well as a few other brands. I also got a pair of Birkenstock’s for $50 off. This year, they added other benefits like $20/month for streaming and cell phone.
I don’t use the Uber credits, but my college DD does for Uber eats!
