ok thanks. So I need to view this as -if I use the PYB (and I will till it expires) I will be getting a credit built up on the CSR(negative balance) at some point,I can request a transfer to my bank acct? So the actual credits are for purchases that I already paid in cash,so in long run,it all balances out, correct? I'm keeping a list of all charges I used it for, so I can apply that cash to travel sometime in the distant future when I travel again.....
You are correct it all balances out...and they will transfer the money into your bank account. I sent a secure message requesting it and a few days later Chase sent an email with the information
When it started I went back and did PYB on everything that qualified. Now I do it weekly.

I’d like to use the Kroger offer on 2 variable load visas, but I’m nervous about putting such a high charge on an amex at a grocery. Nervous that it will put eyes on my account re gift cards at groceries. People familiar with current rat tactics, do you think so long as I keep my total under $1k I’ll be ok? I’ve done in the $600 range before and been ok.
I have been able to get a cashier to split payment on 2 variable vgc in the past, but that was months ago, pre covid. I was considering doing that with the Kroger offer.

My Comcast is out. Noticed it this morning but was busy outside so it didn't bother me. Now I want to relax and read and its an area outage.

May have to find a hotel room with an internet connection. Can't deal with using my phone, too tedious.

I proudly present to you the Presidential Suite (2870 sq ft) at the Hilton Bonnet Creek- nice upgrade for being Diamond.

Back in the saddle making a flurry of vacation plans once again. However, for once we aren't globetrotting to different continents and plotting to secure the boujee seats in the sky with our points and miles. Nope, this year and likely next year it looks like we will be visiting our home state of Florida. Of course we've already been and will return to Disney multiple times throughout the year but that doesn't really count for us since we are semi local and have always visited many times throughout the year. We used Hilton points to book Baker's Cay in Key Largo for a weekend next month and also have it booked for NYE. Hopefully our Diamond status from the Aspire will get us an upgrade like it did last year. We have another trip to Vero Beach using DVC points in September. I also went ahead and booked a long weekend to visit Sanibel Island. We've never been there but were able to book a Gulf Ocean view suite with UR points so that will be a new experience. I've decided to see about experiencing our home state like a tourist and have found some interesting options for future travel here at home. It's good to get back to doing something that almost feels normal.

We just returned from a three-night adult-only vacation to Saugatuck, Michigan. We used PYB credits to bolster our budget for our trip and had a wonderful time. It was the perfect place to have a socially distant pandemic vaca. And it was so good for my mental health to travel and feel like it was almost normal.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thinking about getting new sheets and have my plat saks credit so I thought I'd look there. Omg over 1k for sheet sets. I started sorting by price and there wasn't anything under 50 bucks, even the pillowcase sets were almost 100. I can't even fathom. I'll be sticking to my Target sheets :rotfl:

That’s great! I look forward to hearing about it. We were hoping to go do some of the same things this winter and stay in Florida for a month. But since we are from NY I don’t even know if we will get down at all this winter. I have been to Sanibel but it was more than 10 years ago. I would love to hear about where you stay there as I have UR points to use too. Also am going to book some time at Vero with our DVC points for March and fingers crossed we will be able to, haven’t stayed there yet.

This year would have been the 95th year for the Chincoteague Pony Swim. July 29th was the date for the swim.

But, it's canceled.

Haven't heard if they will sell any ponies or not. I usually take a ride down there from the beach each year. Love to get some blueberry pie and a crab sandwich. Maybe later this fall I'll go when the crowds have gone.

They’re doing an online auction for some at least I know. Sporthorse Auctions is running it.

I do it all the time with no problems. I actually just did one this past week. I think what sets Amex off is if you’re doing a big volume every month. I think anyone could easily explain away a one time $1000 charge if Amex were to ask (catering event, food bank drive, etc)

We just stayed at Vero Beach for the first time this past June. We enjoyed it so a return trip is in order. We chose Sanibel since neither of us have ever been there. We found the Sanibel Inn on the UR portal available for the dates we chose. There are quite a number of properties available to choose from.
