My dh’s parents are late risers as well. There’s no way they’d be at the grocery store until 11am at the earliest.
Mine (which also happens to be my employer) just closed our municipal buildings (to include Town Council meetings) and the police substation (main station lobby will remain open for the public). My town closed all parks and playgrounds. I can understand play structures, like slides and swings, but parks? I went to the track yesterday to walk, and had been planning to continue, but now I guess I’ll have to go to the next town over, as long as they stay open.
Is there ever an occasion when it's NOT time to make coffee? It's finally time to make coffee!
Hi. Hope everyone is safe and healthy. I will need to cancel a round-trip domestic Jetblue flight for Easter weekend. What is Jetblue doing about refunds on flights booked with points? Will I get the points back or a travel credit? Should I just cancel online or should I call? I would obviously rather do this online. DS will have to stay put for Easter.
Thanks. I will wait a few more days to see if Jetblue just cancels anyway. If not I will cancel online.I cancelled online - received the points back and a travel credit for the $11.20 in taxes/fees.
Well DH starts work from home indefinitely today. He commandeered my office, busted down my desktop Mac and put up his massive multi monitor setup.
I will go off to work as normal for another day of chaos. I am not sure what can be canceled and/or happen next. Ohio governor likes to announce one big thing a day to not overwhelm everyone. So the daycare closures has to be coming today or tomorrow I'd assume. That will kill our staffing. We are an essential healthcare function with regs on staffing.
People are not sleeping so well, I see on here and elsewhere. My boss since me a LinkedIn message at 3 a.m.
I wonder if my husband will even get dressed today?
Personal preference..If they've never seen before, I'd start with 4 and continue through the order of release. This was my question. I have 1-6 and want to watch with my kids but don’t know if to start with 1 or 4
Yes, the music during that fight always gets me. Awesome!I agree, I love Ewan McGregor. Also, the Duel of the Fates in Episode 1 is pretty top notch as far as fight choreography and music.
There's supposed to be one of the symphony movie concerts here next month for Empire Strikes Back. I was planning to buy tickets and was really looking forward to it, but wonder if it will be postponed.

Is the Chase site acting weird for anyone else? I got logged in easily but all sorts of messages about "your activity may not be up to date but you can still make payments" and my UR portal (if that's the right word) is grayed out.
If I book a room on HH points, and the hotel has a resort fee, is that always just paid in cash (well... with my Hilton Amex)?
Not yet. However, we did get two calls this shift: One for a family fight in which one family member sneezed and there was a freakout because someone else thought it was coronavirus, and one where the caller wanted to report a gathering of 10 people because she felt it was irresponsible.Yeah, our town had already done that, which makes sense.
I was just reading about a town in Oregon where people were calling 911 asking for toilet paper! I’m sure you have stories about ridiculous callers, but have any knuckleheads called you for tp yet?
Works fine for me.
Hilton waives the resort fee on bookings with Hilton points.
I'm doing this offer right now, for the second time. I was pleasantly surprised to get it again just a few months after downgrading.I've been offered the American Express Blue Cash upgrade offer. I have until next week to pull the trigger on it - upgrading my wife's BCE to a BCP. The bonus is $150 cashback for spending $1k (but we'll have to pay the $95 AF). We could hit the whole MSR in the 6% grocery category so I'm thinking about doing it for an all-in return > 10%. I passed on this back in the fall because it hadn't been a year since I did it before. I think the time is right to do it this time.
