Direct went live slightly after midnight I just kept refreshing and got it in cart. Microsoft balance was already there and ready to go.

The plan for PS5 is Target for store pickup. Last night it went live at 1:25AM and they lasted for about 3-4 minutes. I would expect it to go even quicker. Apparently Best Buy was bricked the entire time. Last chance will be Walmart at noon/3/6/9 on the 12th.
I want to get the PS5 for my son too. I was hoping that a few weeks after it launches I might be able to get one. If not, I will just wait longer and it will be a late Christmas gift.

It appears that the public offer for the CSP has already gone back to the 60k URs/$4k MSR offer.

Good news - Support links are still showing the 80k UR offer!

Honestly, I have no idea how long this might last. It could be gone tomorrow morning, it could stick around for 2 weeks. That said, if you want this offer, act fast! Reminder: There is a 48 month restriction on the Sapphire cards so make sure you are eligible.

For those that are holding out hope for another week, or two, (or more), I hope that this sticks around for you!!

Okay so the BF went into Chase yesterday to get a card and the CSP was already showing only 60k on their end. So he did the CFU. He went for a very high limit on it. He also backed away from the CSP because he was thinking the $95 was a month, not a year, LOL. For the most part points don't mean crap to him, so he was going to take the cash. He likes the CFU since he gets 1.5% back on everything. But he likes that the CSP would have been $800 back vs $200.

I told him he could maybe MDD and go for the CSP still. But he's now worried about a few things.
1- he needs the card ASAP as he has a $6k spend he's putting on it 11/15. Can you get the CSP fast w/o doing this in the branch? 2- he's worried about credit limits as he's closing on his house this month and doesn't want suddenly $20k in credit cards throwing his app back to underwriting (he's 10000% fine calculations wise, he was like approved for $1mill and the house is $350k and he's putting down $100k.....so it won't make him not qualify, LOL). I told him he could probably call and drop the limit on his CFU, but he said he didn't want to necessarily do that since the CFU will be his everyday card.

He's trying to dabble in this game, LOL. He was also afraid that when he cancels the CSP in a year it would hurt his score. We like to play, who's score is higher every few months. Mine always is, so I told him....see, it doesn't hurt your score that much, LOL. I was explaining MS to him last night. That was a hard concept for him to follow, LOL. He's like what's the point :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I'm like well, right now I'm doing it so I can hit my spend and get my free hilton night. But I might also throw some action towards the $5k I need to do w/ Bonvoy!

Thanks! This is great info! I have been considering another amex biz card (or even a personal) but I already have the old SPG biz and the Hilton biz. What is the limit for Amex?
The limits are 4 credit cards and 10 charge cards.

(The credit card limit seems to go back and forth between 4 and 5 sometimes but I believe it’s reported as 4 right now).

So neighbors of ours want to get this card. Waiting for their refi to close (which has been delayed numerous times). They finally close on Wednesday. I just pulled up my support link and it is still showing 80,000 but also says when you apply by 11/7. So, would it still be honored?

So it's 4 total, business and personal together? Also, this may be dumb but it doesn't seem obvious to me which cards are credit cards and which are charge cards:confused3

I know we often only have eyes for Chase around here BUT American Express still has some decent offers circulating out there right now with some expiring in the next month or so:
  • Blue Cash Preferred - $300 Offer - There is an increased offer on the BCP card available via support link giving you a $300 Statement Credit after spending $3,000 within 6 months. This includes a WAIVED 1st year Annual Fee (which is somewhat rare on this card. Apply by 12/10/20 to take advantage of this. This card offers 6% back on groceries too so if you hit the full MSR in the grocery category you could actually get $480 back on $3k in purchases. If you don't see this offer then try in incognito browser or try again later.
  • Blue Cash Everyday - $200 Offer - There is an increased offer on the BCE card available via support link giving you a $200 Statement Credit after spending $1,000 within 6 months. This includes a Intro 0% APR - although carrying a balance isn't advised in this game. No specific "apply by" date is referenced on this one. This card offers 3% back on groceries so it can be a good card to have to put ongoing spend with Amex each month.
  • Amex Gold Card - Increased Bonus - The Amex Gold is also offering an ongoing increased bonus of 60k MRs for $4k spend in 6 months available via support link. YMMV but you could also find a 75k offer via incognito browser. DoC writes a little bit more about the various potential Amex Gold offers here. No specific "apply by" date is referenced on this one but Amex is known to switch up their offers frequently.
  • Amex Green Card - Increased Bonus - The Amex Green is showing an increased offer via support link of 50k or 60k MRs after spending $2,000 in 6 months. DoC writes about this one here. This card also offers a $10 monthly cell phone credit through the end of the year but at this point in the year that's only worth $30 now.
  • Blue Business Card Offers are changing again - It seems they are doing away with the old offer (random statement credits that didn't seem to help anybody) and the Blue Biz Cash is $250 and the Blue Biz Plus is 10,000 MRs.
  • Other Business Cards - Amex is still approving business cards. Chase pulled back for awhile (although they have since relaxed that again) but Amex never stopped approving. Used properly, Amex biz cards are a way to keep your earnings going while resetting your pacing with Chase and/or protecting your 5/24 status. Just keep in mind that the RAT is out there and you need to be a good customer to Amex to keep getting approvals and avoid that nasty popup message!
If anybody knows of any other good Amex bonuses out there please chime in! It's especially hard to keep up with Hilton, Delta, and Marriott as they can change frequently!
I saw an upgrade offer to the BCP on our BCE: receive $150 after $1K/3mo. spend, waived 1st year fee ($95). I think we got this offer before, but not with the waived 1st year fee. I'm going to do it.

Hi, I'm new to this board and I'm so glad I found it!
I have 3 credit cards I'm trying to get maximum rewards from for a big trip to Hawaii and Aulani in June 2022:
Citibank Double Cash Back (this is 2% cash back across the board)
Chase Freedom Flex (opened Oct 2020 - already reached spending to get sign up bonus)
Chase Sapphire Preferred (Opened Nov 2020)

I have already reached my $500 spending to get the sign on bonus for the FF. We are a family of 6 so I will be using this card for groceries since we get 5% back until at least end of April. Also, I'll be using this for the 3% back in dining/takeout since we eat out quite a bit. I love their quarterly 5% bonus category this time around as well and am well on my way to getting the full benefit of it this quarter. Honestly I love this card. With no AF, it's seriously amazing.

Between my citibank double cash and the FF, I feel like I have figured out what card to use where for the most rewards.

However, now I have a CSP. I don't see any big purchases coming up anytime soon - Christmas shopping is all done. Our normal expenses that go on the credit cards include groceries, gas, dining out, and amazon. Do I just put all my "other" spending (such as online shopping, amazon, etc) on the CSP to hurry up and reach the $4000 spending so I can get the sign up bonus even though I'd only be getting 1% back vs. 2% back on my citibank? Aside from the 1.25 on their travel portal and some of the travel benefits, which I know will come in handy once we are traveling again, I guess I'm not loving this card for it's benefits in regards to the others I have. Once my husband starts traveling again for work again, we'll get the CSR to help meet our goals of Hawaii 2022.

Thank you in advance!

Any luck? None for me. Guess I'll be trying again at noon.
We got one! I had my laptop and ipad going watching the countdown to 1pm. DH strolls in about 3 minutes to 1 and I tell him he should try too.
I got one in my cart, but then it said "no longer available" at checkout. Ipad never even allowed me to put one in the cart.
Then DH is like, "yeah, my order went through" (as if it's just ordering batteries). His credit card has been charged and it's supposed to arrive tomorrow! Woo Hoo and Merry Christmas!

@havaneselover any luck for you?

I can't recall, does Shades of Green ticket office code as Travel?
I’m not 100%, but since no one else answered I, I think it codes as entertainment. Every time I have ever bought tickets through the MWR ITR office (no matter where located) it codes as entertainment.

No. Tried on phone and laptop. Even had one in local store for pickup but every time I tried to process payment it was no longer available.

You don't necessarily have to hurry up, just make sure you spend the 4k in your first three months. Sometimes I will prepay bills like electric or internet to help meet a spend. If you don't have any bills you can pay, then use the CSP for everyday spending. You're only missing out on 1% which is far less than the bonus. You don't want to miss out on the bonus.

This is what I have noted from posts here:

Limit of 4 (was 5) Amex credit cards (personal + business) and 10 Amex charge cards
Credit Cards: Blues, EveryDays, Hiltons (Ascend, Aspire, Biz), Deltas, Lowes, etc.
Charge Cards: Greens, Plum, Golds, Platinums, and their Biz counterparts

Well that was a fail, didn't get approved for a checking account.

Do you have your credit frozen? I tried opening a checking account online for the bonus and was not successful. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of lifting the freeze at all 3 credit bureaus since the bank would not tell me which one they use to verify identity. I walked into a local branch with the offer, showed my license and was instantly approved.
