I have REALLY been enjoying “The Imagineering Story” on Disney+. It is captivating and phenomenal...so I start this comment by wholeheartedly recommending that!

Tonight I was looking for something to watch and I stumbled on “Waking Sleeping Beauty”. It was a very interesting documentary on Disney animation in the 80’s and 90’s. It just happened to fit perfectly in the timeline after watching the 3rd episode of “The Imagineering Story”. So for anybody watching that each week, perhaps while you wait for the next episode you might mix this one in this week. 😊

also...I LOVE Disney+!!
Dd and I finished the first Imagineering Story last night. Really enjoyed (the ending was very sad) and we will start the 2nd one on the plane tomorrow night! I am also addicted to the Disney shorts. Will they keep adding to these? I love them all, but Kitbull, Bao and the Jack Jack ones are my favorites!

I also just got a UPS notification that my VZW GCs are coming tomorrow! That was really fast! It gave me the 2-day shipping option online, but I wasn't hopeful.

It will be a game changer if I can successfully apply the GCs without losing my auto-pay discount. I thought I lost an easy MSR avenue with my wireless bill. Hoping I can just stock up on GCs with my current MSR card and pay that way. I will definitely report back!

We were hoping to use URs for that. We have a lot saved up already and plan to have quite a bit by summer of next year. We only have 32k MRs and no plans for any more Amex cards
I had a bunch of MRs before I had any idea what to do with them. And then Delta offered the double mile vacation packages and I cashed out my MRs got some amazing savings on 2 separate vacations. 6k worth of travel expenses for 3k worth of MRs. It’s always smart to diversify your points if you want to play the game even if you don’t have a set in stone plan for them especially if the opportunity is there!

Chiming in on all the discussions I missed this weekend.
I have one dog who watches TV. She can see any type of animal, animated or live action, still photo or moving, and goes nuts. Also before she went deaf she would know which commercials had animals, based on the music. So if she were sleeping or not near the TV she would come running when she heard the music for animal commercials. She also used to watch horror movies with me, and would sit at attention during the creepy music and jump at the jump scares. The other two, can hear the animal noises and doorbells and bark at them, but have no clue where it's coming from.
I am not a good cook, I have used that jarred gravy and the packet mix, mostly for the leftovers, because there is never enough gravy.
All my BJ's orders are out for delivery today too. No Rakuten credit on any of them, now to wait for the Chase credit.
We stumbled on an open Christmas tree lot while running errands yesterday, so we stopped and got a tree. I had no gloves or hat, a light coat and no socks on LOL. That is only a valid point, as I live in MN, thank goodness it was in the low 40's!! Now the tree is in the living room naked because there isn't time to decorate it yet LOL.

This morning I was working out at 4 AM and the dog was going nuts again. This time the gecko on the Geico commercial. My dog's only tv issue is when she hears a doorbell. She barks like a fool and runs to the front door.

Dumb question - how do you see pre qualified offers? Just log in to your account?

The DoC article has a link. If someone doesn’t have an Amex account (and thus are more likely to be targeted with a 100k or 125k welcome offer), they can fill in their name, address and last 4 digits of their SSN to pull up pre-qualified offers (just like on CardMatch). If you have an Amex account, there’s an option to log in, but I wouldn’t expect to be targeted with one of these massive offers.

Thanks, finally figured it out. They hate me. lol Zero offers on this and cardmatch.

I got it too. Taking DD to NYC this weekend (16th birthday trip) and would love to buy her a pair of sterling silver earrings.

I was looking at it because when my daughter was brought into hospital in Colorado last year after the car accident, she was wearing a pair of diamond studs. One of the procedures involved removing all jewelry and someone took possession of her earrings. There were 4 patients - DD, Dsil and 2 grands and only 3 family members to help out, so she wasn't able to or maybe even conscious enough to give them to family. They were gone from her possessions later on and there was no accountability for them.

So I've been looking at studs and this caught my eye.

Ok..... just verifying.... I found a cruise I'm going to try to convince Dh to take with me (I'll never understand reluctant travelers) it'a NCL... if I book from their site,I can then turn around, call chase UR,and transfer it via phone that easily, and use UR to pay it off? Nothing else I need to know to do this? Or should I call chase first to see if they can match the ncl site price first? my goal is to use UR for as much as possible here. thanks
