Can you do more than one swipe per load?

We’ve done up to 3 swipes on one load but it was more of a hassle. The cashier started questioning what we were doing

They've padded the schedules so badly. When I was flying MSP-MDW twice a year in the '80's it was a 45 minute flight and only 90 minutes from leaving my house in Minneapolis to landing at Midway. Now they say it's a 110 minute flight, you need to be at the airport two hours early. It's really not all that much faster to fly than drive for a lot of places.

They've also slowed down in flight speeds to save massive amounts of fuel to make up for the rising costs.

We've actually had this happen quite a few times. Dh said he uses their chat and tells them the package is late. He then says he would like the $5 credit since it was Prime. We've gotten the $5 on quite a few things that have been late even if it was only one day late.

i don’t. I ask to load multiple cards at the same register. one swipe per each card load.

My walmart seems hit or miss. I seem to always find that one cashier who just started and doesn't know how to load! I've gotten one cashier to load two serve cards (one swipe each) but he was very reluctant and tried to send me to the money center. It always seems like there is a line 5-6 deep when I go at the money center.

I have a few $200 cards to liquidate and I used GCM for VGC to meet MSR on DH CIP. So I see a trip to Walmart in my near future.

Wow, I actually redeemed an Amex offer! I guess it was $5 off a Sam's Club purchase. I purchased $10 worth of chili for my kid's band's Chili Night this week and poof, there is a $5 credit on my account. Cool!

Yes, I forgot it was two weeks this time too. Maybe I will try mine again even though last time I had the most awkward encounter ever with basically all of the employees in the store at once

I would agree with that statement, the food is not amazing at the Delta lounges but the adult beverage choices have never let me down , and I have not had to deal with an over crowding issues Looking forward to checking out a Centurion lounge though. Kind of a side benefit to the lounge accesses; I used to have terrible flying anxiety to the point I requested an anti anxiety script from my GP for flights. I went through a hypnotist and found a meditation app that helped enough to not need to pop a pill with a glass of wine, but I was still on edge. I noticed yesterday I am truly not having those issues at all anymore. I think maybe, having the lounge access to chillax has helped calm me. That and not flying SW out of MCO anymore lol.

I never took a pill for it, but I've also had lots of anxiety around flying. Like you, the ability to de-stress and relax a bit has really helped keep me calm. That may be why I value these lounges at a higher level than the just the cost of a meal.

Mine keeps them on the spinner rack, which is directly in front of the customer service register. Basically touching it.

I don't think I told you all my story from the last time I got a VGC at Staples!! It was the no fee $200 promo at the beginning of October.

I walk into my Staples and every employee in the store is gathered around the GC spinner in front of the customer service desk. Like 5 people plus a girl who is behind the CS desk.

So they're all there, like can we help you find anything? Well I'm actually here to see if you have any $200 vgcs. Hmmm.
One guy: these?
Other guy: no those are MCs.
1st guy: which one did you want?
Me: Well I saw the add that the $200 VGCs don't have a fee this week.
Girl behind CS desk: what one is she looking for?
1st guy: $200vgc.
Girl: We dont sell those anymore.
2nd guy spins rack... there are 3 spread out on that side
Girl, seeing them spinning rack around: we dont sell those anymore!
2nd Guy: look we have 3.
Girl: we dont sell those anymore!

So at this point 2nd guy is like there are 3 here and holds one up to show her. She's like, oh well so and so doesn't want us to sell those anymore.

Guy: well I didn't put them out.
Puts GC back on rack.
Girl: well I didnt do it.
1st guy moves one up so they are all on same peg


And I'm standing here like, um can I buy one? Or are you guys gonna put them all away?


After another awkward moment, 2nd guy says, "Well Girl would be happy to sell you one of these cards we don't sell anymore" and hands me one. As I'm walking around to the register she's saying something to him that sounded like, "Yeah and I'll probably have a cop on my case again."



It's been a month, that was 10/5 according to my records; I wonder if they'd remember me if I stop in today... I think the same promo in Aug or Sept I went 4 or 5 different days and couldn't get any, they kept saying they were out. I haven't been back since my lovely awkward encounter so I haven't investigated fully if there are lots of people buying them in my area or if my store is truly trying to not sell them anymore. There is an OM/OD less than 10min away and they don't usually run out of GCs.

the Staples I’ve been in on LI have them out on a spinner rack...
It definitely is YMMV if I am able to buy more than one...depends on cashier and location...unfortunately the one closest to me is the strictest
