Now you can book Lindblad through Hyatt.
I'm going to try 2 different locations today, I have $600 to liquidate and I want to get $1000 more from OD before the Staples sales starts on Sunday. This is no help, but like @vanjust14 said it's not too fast. Just yesterday I loaded $400 at one and finally had the nerve to ask to do another $500. At first the Serve card swiped and the VCG said declined. We tried again and this time the Serve card said denied. The cashier said maybe come back and try in a few hours. I didn't inquire more, but maybe there is a limit within a certain time frame. When I got home all was good with that Serve account and the VCG. Although the CG did have the $500 charge with a $500 reversal. I really hope it is just a daily store limit thing and not the beginning of the end for Serve. I was too busy to go again last night to try again.
I went back today. Loaded $500, tried to do $500 more and my cashier said it probably wouldn't work, because it thinks it's a duplicate transaction. She even tried going on a different register. Didn't work. But I've done two $200 loads right in a row many times. Maybe over a certain amount gets triggered. She said if it was a different amount she thought it would work. I didn't feel like splitting up my $500 so I didn't do it, maybe next time. At least at this point sounds like a minor inconvenience, but nothing too terrible.I'm going to try 2 different locations today, I have $600 to liquidate and I want to get $1000 more from OD before the Staples sales starts on Sunday.
DD is flying SW today and coming home on Sunday. She's wanting to get a SW card - is applying during her flight still an advantage to using a link? This will be her first non-AU credit card. I guess it's an ok one to start with. She doesn't have a long earning history, but she does have a full time job after graduating from college this past May, so hopefully she'd be approved.
Our 10k MRs got put in our account from our BBP spend. Dh and I can’t think of anything to use MRs on lol. If we only have like 13k what’s the best thing to do with them? I don’t see us getting another Amex for a long time so I’d rather just use it now

Lol we’re more of a lowe’s FamilyHome Depot cards.....
My husband and I both have separate accounts and our fuel points don't mix. I don't think I did anything special other than use a separate email.Has anyone been able to use two different accounts for Kroger? DH and I both have separate accounts, separate emails and logins, but it's like we are the same person. The fuel rewards that I just earned show up under his account. I see in the fine print is says one coupon per household. Anyone find a way around that?
Ok folks...I need some advice. After we pay our electrician through Plastiq, plus pay for a surprise CT scan, we will be finishing up our current MSR faster than expected. I don't know what to do next. We can't hit up Chase for a while, and I have no use for AA miles. I'm thinking maybe a Hilton biz for DH? We would use the points in Tokyo in early 2021. He is 2/24 and probably has a better shot at getting approved for an Amex card than me. I'm just not...excited about it? Haha, I think that's not supposed to be a criteria for picking a credit card but here we are! Anyone have any better suggestions? Preferably without a big AF...
I signed up for the RedCard thing and tried to open a Chase checking account too. They want me to go into the branch booooooo. Don't they know I'm a millennial and I hate human contact?
This is also meta but does anyone else feel kind of...burned out by the CC game? The stack of sockdrawered cards I have is getting ridiculous and I'm feeling overwhelmed by all the different bank logins and changing autopay on different bills and all accounts I have to manage in YNAB. Our next big points goal is Tokyo in late 2020/early 2021 and it feels sooo far away. Also I am very overwhelmed by being a new homeowner and having so much stuff to pay for (who was it who said "Welcome to the nightmare?" It's true!). Has anyone here ever felt the same way? Like simultaneously annoyed at the shuffle but also having serious fear of missing out on SUBs that get you free travel?
I'm in the same boat. I used DH's support link to apply for a Hilton card for myself at the end of July. My bonus points have posted, but his support points haven't. The terms say it can take 8-12 weeks. Once it goes past 12 weeks, I'm going to chat. Then, I'll probably try to get him to make one phone call but will likely leave it at that.American Express is not making me happy. I am missing 20,000 referral Hilton points. I chatted and gave them all the information a few weeks ago. I chatted again and the investigation is over and they say the link wasn't used rightly. So nothing they can do. Since I applied for DH I know the link was used correctly. I know others have had this happen, with even bigger amounts and from what I remember it was a total hassle and some never got their missing points. Think it's worth a phone call? Or will I just be wasting my time and making myself more upset?

Anyone recently transferred URs to Marriott? How long does it take?
I transferred 20k UR last night, nothing in Marriott account yet.
Thanks for mentioning this. I sent a SM this morning to close an account, but now I see no record of it in the "Sent" box either. I tried one more time, and it was the same thing. Acts like it got sent but there's no record of it. I think it's going to need a call.Is anyone else having trouble with Chase's SM system? I want to cancel my CIC by SM. Every time I try to send an SM for my CIC account, though, there's no record of the SM at all. It's not in my sent box, and it's never registered or replied to by Chase. The SM system is working for my CIP though, because I used it to successfully lower my CL last week. Anyone have a workaround suggestion, or should I just call to cancel?
