Yeah, let's hope it sticks around long enough for the next round of room discounts. There will be a ton of cash inventory to book until the whole resort is declared. I would love to stay there on URs at a discounted rate.

IDK... I was able to pull it up for April with standard studio, preferred studio, and 1 bedroom options and can change the dates. Maybe its a glitch and the new resort got past the Chase Disney block? It is also an option to search by with the filter.


DRR is only composed of villas, no other room options.

Good point. I just tried looking for April as well and more options were avaialable.

I am flying through Atlanta Monday into Florida. Because of hurricane Dorianne there is a chance I will be laid over for some time in Atlanta. Can I pay to bring my minor daughter into the club with me?

To me, DL Comfort + is the same or better as AA first class...but you know I'm a Delta fan girl I think it would come down to whatever is cheapest, maybe?

First MR card? It takes a few months. If you have MRs already it posts in a few days.

I forgot that this is how it normally works. DHs Plat is his first MR card, his SUB posted within 3 days of making the last purchase to put him over MSR.

It isn't open yet so we only have the model rooms and renderings to go off of, but I do think it looks very nice. It will have two actual queen mattresses in a studio which is new for DVC (besides OKW) and is on the Skyliner so Epcot and DHS will be more convenient than bus. I plan on doing the character breakfast and signature dinner at Topolino's in the spring so it would be really convenient if I could secure it for "free." I just don't want to deplete all those URs when I imagine it will have high discounts until the resort is fully declared. May honestly be better off waiting for a discount and cashing out URs to cover discounted Disney gift cards if it leaves the portal.

For those of you on the graavy train. Are you closing your AA biz cards before your next card? If so, what verbage are you using when you call/chat to cancel your 2 month old card?

Chat doesn’t always work. I said I had a bad experience on AA and had no use for their miles

You can still add it, but you can also just show up with your resort reservation number or magic band. If you are using DME to return as well you are probably better off calling or filling out the online form. I would prefer to not have to think about that on vacation. The last time I checked in the family in front of me was adding it when checking-in at DME. They had no idea what their flights were and when the dad was shuffling luggage and pulled out a binder to get the trip info I almost lost it. I saw my line was ready to board and I wanted to get out of there! (I am EXTREMELY impatient)

I predict that Disney resorts will come back to Chase now that my vacation is in three weeks and I've cashed out all my URs as a statement credit for it.

Yes, my DH took DS11 at the time with him. And DS has gone into the one in Orlando. They used to be free but beginning in Sept, anyone over 2 will count as one of your guests.

How quickly can one get TSA Pre-check? I have global entry, and also have a credit for Pre-check on another card . I’m thinking of letting my sister use it if it’s likely she’d have it before Sep. 22 ( just over 3 weeks away). Online it says it takes 2-3 weeks. Anyone have actual numbers?

I think it depends how quickly you can get an appointment for an interview. It was 3 days from the time I went with my friend and paid for her pre check and she received the email saying she was approved. Waiting for snail mail it was maybe 1 week for my 13 year old.

What was the last day to book? Delta doesn't have good flights for us, but maybe a connection is worth it to take advantage of the 2c/pp for amex MRs.

Pretty sure it is August 31st. I need to call and do it as it really will work for us. It is a good deal but something final like that I have a hard time committing sometimes!
