Some coworkers and I went to Starbucks today and it was predictably packed with basics. One girl was wearing Uggs. It was 85 degrees here today.

For the record, I do not drink PSLs, or anything pumpkin-flavored lol. Although I did crank up Taylor Swift’s new album on my way home from work.
I love it, I love it all!! Does DH like PSL? Imagine how many that Starbucks card could get him :lmao:

I hope there is a cool day when I am in Disney in October. I would love a venti hot PSL no whip, extra cinnamon on Main Street. Literally so extra and basic.

I’m sitting here pondering my next move, and seriously considering busting past 5/24 after I get cip 3. I have a lot of chase cards. But I love UR lol. I have no immediate big travel plans outside of wdw this year with 5 trips planned on APs and a crap ton of RRs to fly a family of 4. So that’s kind of holding me back. I don’t have a plan and I can always find a use for UR.

There are lots of cards with cash bonuses once you are over 5/24 too lol

Hahaha he does not. But I can almost guarantee you that my BIL will get a PSL at MNSSHP purely for aesthetic purposes. He’s gen Z but is extremely basic lol

In typical fashion I stayed up to date mostly on my phone, so sorry for the lack of likes/reactions. The thread has really moved today-both ups and lows. I'm squarely in the millennial generation. Although not a stereotypical millennial-like most on this thread. Quick vent off topic moment, I really hate, the hate for millennial's, it seems you can't go a day without a negative news story about something we are doing or not doing. Whether it is ruining eating out, housing, "insert anything here". It really seems at this moment it is hip to really bash this one particular generation. Ok rant over.

In regards to 9-11, it really has shaped a particular subset of the millennial generation, I feel those of us who were young but also old enough to understand the ramifications and see how drastically the world changed in that moment. I'm from the midwest and really know, no one that was not deeply affected although most did not lose anyone close. Reading about other's experiences has made me emotional tonight. Several years ago I was able to visit ground zero and the museum and it was a deeply moving experience.

Completely off topic, but I find most of my posts are, and I couldn't not comment about these topics...

In churning news nothing new to report working on my MSR for CIP. Missing out not holding an united card for the Hawaii redemption. Realistically the date range is so small I probably wouldn't be able to make anything work anyway. Planning a trip made possible by churning in December; to the exciting state of Texas. I have never been, and I'm hoping to visit the Miraval resort. Anyone has any experience with it? Maybe @Lain?
