Last minute trip advice....myself and DD3

AofA LM room (assumed) thru a PLE deal for $76/night...total $343.40. Never stayed here.

OR

Any other value around $120/night AP rate, Moderate $160-190 AP rate, AKL $256, YC $296/night.

My head always says save money (points) and my heart always says walk to the parks. I am so awful at making these decisions.

How last minute is last minute? If the Skyliner is open, AoA LM room won't be too bad. If not, the rooms are lacking compared to all other values and are the absolute furthest from the lobby! I can't help with the All Stars, but for the difference from AP value to AP mod, I would go mod. Does the $160 - $190 include the CSR tower? Then I'd go for the brand new experience! Otherwise, I also like walking back and fourth from YC/BC

Are you sure it's the product that's different and not just that the water is different so it reacts differently. I hate the water in FL and how my hair rinses

It’s a slightly different color so I definitely think a different product. Still good though!

DD16 just got her drivers license last week . We've been in the process of getting her passport renewed and GE applied for anyway so we had all the paperwork together and went ahead got the new ID for her. First one in our family to get the new one. It’s annoying to have to drive with a paper print out for that gap in time before it comes in the mail. But it came today.

Skyliner not supposed to be open. DD saw those LM rooms on the site and like them, and I liked the price, but I thought I remembered people not liking them.
CSR tower is full $100 more than a regular CSR room. So $160 vs $260, otherwise I'd totally do that. Since it is $260 I would go with AKL over the tower for the same cost.
You are a total epcot resort enabler.

Never stayed CBR, but I like CSR. Just concerned about the internal bus route. Makes me a bit nutty. Such a princess.

We rarely had a seat on our buses from POR. Those were our craziest buses!

The refreshed rooms are very nice. With that kind of savings over deluxe you could even call a Minnie Van to come pick you up directly from your building if the bus wait was bad.

Found it, Big MSR for small bonus. I was expecting it to be closer to 1k. On the positive side No AF and I don’t have to worry about cancelling it. I’m at 1100 in cards I’d like to keep around and 400 in cards I’m going to cancel.

Is it 2 points for everything including travel? I love my Gold car, but the annual fee gives me nothing. Amex keeps pushing the platinum on me, but the AF offers me nada. , I’d probably do it for a 100k offer, but again yearvtwo id have to cancel.

Apparently, you're right. I just got an email from disney about some special over christmas break to stay on property. I didn't look into it further because we're not going then, but I did immediately think that it's unusual to get deals over christmas!

A few random this and thats....

• Anybody know how to sign out of the Safeway App on my phone? I have scoured and scoured and it remains elusive. I made a second account for VGC's and I would like to switch back and forth rather than rely on signing in online.
• Just took an upgrade offer on Amex BCE to BCP, 1k spend in 90 days, $150 bonus. I liked the card much better when it had 3% for department stores instead of streaming.
• Name changes - I have a hyphenated last name. It is on my SS card, DL, Passport and I'm assuming GE, but I cant find the card currently. Most airlines systems will not allow a hyphen when booking a ticket. I am waiting for the day an overzealous TSA agent takes issue with that. I recommend to any woman I know getting married not to do what I did. Some places take a hyphen, some don't. It is always a guessing game trying to remember who needs what for sign in.

I also dropped both my kids at college yesterday (they are both going to the same college). It was horrible. I cried so many times. If I hear the word "empty nester" one more time - I think I will strangle someone. DD18 was very hesitant and I think just scared and nervous. She has like 6 other good friends from school there and her brother so I'm sure she will be fine - just going to take a little time. Her roommate seems nice and is also in the Nursing Program so that is nice too. Now I have to come up with some new hobbies...

I am not sure if it will work like that for November 21. I changed mine yesterday and my flight is November 21. They are only changing flights through 11/20. They said that they could change mine for me but had to do it manually. I also asked if my original flight wasn’t cancelled could I switch back and she said yes but if the price went up I would have to pay more.
