I stopped by a different OD this morning to get $400 (2x$200) and they were out of $200 gc's so I didn't buy any. I stopped by another one at and had 3 left and I bought 2. Might go back after work and get 1x$100 and 1x$200.

I only have WM as an option though and those seem more hit and miss which is why I'm afraid lol!

For me, it's really hit or miss in the sense that some cashiers don't know how to do it. I've yet to have one say "we can't do that here." Normally I just say "can you reload a Serve card?" and show them the card since they don't always know what Serve is. If they make a face or look confused, I just say "nevermind, thank you" and walk away haha.

There’s an offer on P2’s Amex plat this morning to get a 1500 MR bonus for spending $2500 by November something, up to 3x. Seems like kind of a paltry bonus for spending that much but if I can stack it with other offers and also considering the spend we’d do to keep the RAT happy anyway...Maybe we’ll get in one round on that offer before PCing this fall.

They like him better than me - I’ve got Spend $3k get 1500 MR. It’s not clear to me if it’s one transaction of $3k+ (fine print is unclear) plus it excludes the AU cards where most of my spend is coming from.

I had to do several errands today and I think I probably passed a zillion Family Dollar/Dollar Generals. My town does not have a lot, but we have those two stores every mile. I had my cards with me and did I stop???? NOPE. Aughhhhh I am still chicken. lol I think I can, I think I can....

Ugh, the Giants by me aren’t participating in the new VGC promo. It was buy $150+ in VGC get a $15 coupon for your next grocery order. I was planning on maxing SOs Gold with that and getting $360 in “free” groceries. And of course it’s in NY and I’m going there next Friday so I will miss it by a day.

I was happy to wake up to a change in DH/DS Chicago flights for 10/31-11/4. I purposely booked the cheapest return (Monday 6am) in hopes that they'd have to mess with the schedule and then I could move them for free to the much more expensive Sun pm return. Well it worked! Got it changed this morning. Whoop! The original r/t cost was 9300 RR...the new return was 12k RR by itself. Score!

You must have some of the same dates I have been look at....9/23 week? I specifically looked for lowest crowd week, but oddly the resorts are higher then compared to other dates I wanted, so I haven't reserved anything. Waiting it out in hopes of a better deal.

I hadn’t thought about the possibility that it might have to be in one transaction. Seems like that would be a strange requirement on a personal card. I’ll have to reread that.

Yup! 9/21-9/28. Wonder why the resorts are higher. I see Pop is showing as sold out. We got the free dining special back when it opened up.

These are just the ones I had in my kitchen. The Waldorf (from Vegas) is the heaviest and the Park Hyatt Paris is my favorite.

Ok, my wife totally calls me Ross, but I take only the good stuff. If the pen doesn’t feel good in my hand, or write well, or doesn’t have the specific hotel’s name on it (just the hotel brand), I don’t usually bother. Same with toiletries.

I am a hotel pen thief also, my favorite are the Cabana Bay Resort at US. I have a bright blue, yellow, and orange one from there. I prefer the straight pens like the Walt Disney one to the spring loaded. I must have at least 5 different Marriott brand pens.

I am a pen thief... but my only hotels are Best Western. Do you guys even know what those are???

I also have my Princess Cruises one.

I love a free pen that I can toss in my purse and not feel sad about if it disappears. Also, the BW and Princess ones write pretty well for cheap pens so I am happy.

I do have a pen from my cousin's chiropractic practice in Japan. THAT one isn't going in my purse because it'll get lost. It even has its own little velveteen 'case'!
