I got the $60 coupon for spending $500 on prime day on the amazon app. I just bought $500 worth of grocery store Giftcards. I had to go to the notification section in the app and there was a claim coupon button there. I must have missed it before or it just got added.

Oh speaking of Amtrak cards, does anyone else have the Amtrak World card (the one with the $79 annual fee)? Or is it just me?

I forgot about it, but when I opened the account I noticed I got 2 free companion coupons instead of just one. The one-year anniversary just came this week, and I got another 2 free companion coupons. It's only supposed to be one at account opening and one at renewal, so I have no idea what's happening here (but I'm not complaining). It also comes with 1 upgrade coupon at account opening and 1 upgrade coupon each anniversary, and those correctly posted.

I have it and mine just renewed. I did get an email saying my upgrade and companion coupons were available. On checking my account I find 1 upgrade coupon and 2 companion coupons. Do last years companion carry over as I didn't use what they gave me last year? Also, what does 12 hour mean with the upgrade coupon? Thanks!

My intention was/is to use my points on auto train probably in February.

You guys are all Jedi's and I am not even a padawan apprentice yet.... Please teach me :worship::thanks:....
I’m glad to see you joined the dark side lol

What's the chance that the TPG (or others) may be reading you? After all, the DIS is a pretty 'big' web presence, and this thread is enormous. Those guys spit out a few bites a day for their readers as opposed to the coverage gleaned here. It doesn't take long to figure out the players here and just read their posts exclusively.

Funny enough, it's something @SouthFayetteFan, @Albort, and I have discussed in terms of what and how much information to put out there. This is, obviously, a public site, and we keep most of the discussion here because many of you are also here for other Disney-related interests and planning. For the most part, we don't discuss things that aren't already on r/churning, FT, or the major blogs. This thread moves so fast, and there's so much content generated and regurgitated daily in the churnosphere, it'll be hard to keep up without devoting a lot of time stalking these various channels. I know because I've been trying to highlight important pieces of information daily on the News & Discussion thread to make it easier for fellow DISchurners to follow along. But I guess you could say these bloggers (and RATs for that matter) get paid to stalk these channels for useful information to exploit and/or kill. With that in mind, we have been moving more sensitive information exclusively to DISchurners.

Looks like a public link for the BoA $300 checking bonus is out.

$300 after 4k of DDs in 90 days. I believe Serve worked earlier this year, for all the folks with shiney new Serve cards. (but we'd have to research again to be sure)
Hmmm... Maybe I will do this now! lol. I'm feeling very torn where on one hand I want to do bank bonuses, and on the other, DH has so many commissions paying out that a good chunk will go to taxes. I keep telling myself at the end of the day it's still more money in my pocket, right?

Thank you for this! Looks like the only restriction is you can't have had a BoA checking account in the last 6 months. I did a bonus with them last year and closed the account in July 2018, so it's been a year. I applied and was immediately approved.

BoA bonuses are very reliable as long as you apply with the promo code (make sure it's there in the application!). The only downside is how little codes as a DD, but luckily it's easy for me to change my DD at work.

Plus, I need a new Amtrak card, and it's way easier to do when you have a BoA account.
Also hadn't realized it was so easily churnable, soooo better get to closing out DHs from last time!

This sounds a lot like me right now. I have plans to mostly visit WDW while DD3 is, well, 3! We have 8 nights in October, possible cruise with 2 nights at WDW before and after in April, and a December trip for her 5th bday. I want to do a trip to Hawaii in Dec 2021 once she's turning 6 and feel she can travel much longer (coming from East Coast). I'm over 5/24, but DH is 3/24 and URs are the currency that I can use most right now. At the same time, I want to get DH the SW CP early 2020 as mine will be expiring. Plan is to get him CIP3 August, then do the two SW cards end of the year. I might also do MDD on the Sapphires for him at some point! I need to start thinking about how I'm going to get to Hawaii. I have hotels covered but I'm lost on flights. So, now I've rambled in response to your ramble, lol

Not sure where you are on the East coast, but Hawaiian is flying direct from Boston now. They periodically have sales. I ended up paying with UR rather than transferring to airline because we got a great price on 4 direct flights in Feb. My kids will be 6 and 9.

Welcome, @LovesTimone!

:welcome:

Meet @Haley R, who joined this thread last year and recently came back from Japan flying Business class round-trip on ANA all on credit card points. Also meet @DisneyMandC, who will be traveling to Japan next summer and just booked First class flights both ways on JAL using AA miles, and is looking at booking hotels now, all from credit card signups. And meet @ten6mom, who joined our group a few months ago and is on her way to earning credit card points towards business or first class award flights to and hotels in Japan next fall or the following spring. And then there's @calypso726 who always flies premium and will be again on her upcoming Japan ABD trip.

If you're looking for advice, it would really help us to better help you if you could answer the questions in the second post of this thread: https://www.disboards.com/threads/i...t-page-for-addl-details.3729982/post-60156306 These answers will help us get to better know your particular situation so that we can better tailor our advice.

If you're looking for tips for using credit card points towards flights to and hotels in Japan, please consider joining our DISchurners community on reddit. You can send a PM to me, @SouthFayetteFan, or @Albort with your reddit username, and we'll get you added. If you don't have a reddit username, it's easy to sign up. As you can see, several active members of this thread are planning upcoming trips to Japan, and we've been compiling advice and their experiences into a dedicated thread on DISchurners. This thread on the DIS also moves FAST and it can be hard to keep up. We chatter a lot because many of us have become friends, and news and advice gets mixed in with a lot of off topic discussion. We try to highlight useful information daily in the DISchurners News & Discussion thread.

I'll circle back once you've answered the questions from the first page. I don't want to provide advice that may not pertain to you until we have more information to help.

Once again, welcome! We really are probably the most friendly and helpful bunch on the DIS. Hope you stick around!

I bought some a few days ago when they had sale 2000 for $18. Can you tell me why buy them now for regular price? To meet MSR? Or is there another benefit?
MSR is part for me.

Also there is the daily bonus for meeting your goal and this counts. Today my bonus is 120sb and DHs is 132sb. On top of that, I referred DH to his account originally so I get 10% of his earnings most of the time and this counts. So today I spent $40 and will get $44.52 total.

I'm also new to this. I know people on here don't like TPG, but I learned a lot about the different cards from reading his reviews. I also like million mile secrets, flyer talk, fico forums and of course disboards. I would start out reading reviews on different cards. You need to figure out which cards will benefit you the most. Don't be scared off by big annual fees. The cards with the big AF's usually offer enough benefits to offset it, and they usually have the best return.

MS is not readily available to me. But I've been able to liquidate over $200+ on my VGCs by buying SB at or for less than face value and cashing out through PayPal.

Also I'm 300K sb away from the next member recognition level. When I hit that I get 15,000 sb ($150). And buying sb counts toward this.

@LovesTimone - and this is why we don't like TPG: https://www.disboards.com/threads/i...t-page-for-addl-details.3729982/post-60869558

The Points Guy and Million Mile Secrets are owned by Bankrate which generates significant revenue from its credit card affiliate marketing program, and TPG and MMS are its the consumer facing outlets that promote the credit cards offers that earn Bankrate and these blogs money, even if that means withholding information from their readers.

TPG and MMS has the occasional useful guide, review, or deal and fare alerts. However, always take what you read on these blogs with a grain of salt and ask yourself if they're trying to sell you anything or trying to get you to sign up for a certain card. Do not apply for credit cards through these blogs' affiliate links because you can often find the same or better offer elsewhere.

Welcome! No worries. We got you and are all happy to help you. You will need to be ready to book your flights this December if you want to secure business or first seats. They go quickly and you want to have your points in place as soon as they are released. Everyone here has Jedi skills in some area or another and we all started off as not even a padawan. My Jedi skill is flying in first class. So I will be delighted to help you do the same.

Please answer the questions regarding the credit cards you have opened in the last 24 months to give you the best advice on which cards for you and P2 to get.

Then let us know your closest airports to make sure you are earning the right points to secure the right airline. Always ask us before jumping in head first to avoid common mistakes. We have an awesome group that loves helping each other achieve their travel goals on points and miles.

I think my one question got lost overnight. Are self-referrals on the Hilton (from the Aspire to the Surpass) a no-no for the Biz? I want the newest offer w/ the free night and 130k points.

Also any DP's on what codes as DD for BOA? I'm down for a new bank bonus. Anyone remember how long the Huntington had to be open for the $750 business bonus? I think it was 6 mos. And I think I'm past that now (I opened around MLK). I've got $25k to move around, and having had $5k stolen from my discover (I did get it back), I'm not real keen on moving my $25k there right now, LOL.

If you haven’t opened more than 5 personal cards in the last 24 months most of us here start with Chase...and since you will have an Etsy Business....the Chase Ink Preferred has the highest sign up bonus 80k URs after spending $5k in the first 3 months....
