Lol ok, productivity has been low at work this morning. I played with FPs some more and moved things around. I switched my initial AK and HS/Epcot days. AK was showing no more FPs for EE, Safari, or FoP that Monday when we were originally supposed to go, but a lot of availability for Tuesday. So I rebooked everything, including FoP, for Tuesday instead. I figured the lack of availability for Monday was indicating a higher crowd day at AK that day, so hopefully it'll be a little better on Tuesday. Moved our ADRs around too. I actually like our Epcot ADRs better now. I plan to go to HS in the morning and then go through the IG entrance and we'll eat lunch at Teppan Edo. We then have afternoon FPs in Epcot. I'm thinking about not booking anything for dinner and instead just snacking our way through the plethora of F&W booths. The only bad thing about moving the AK day was not great availability for Yak and Yeti for dinner for ADRs. But I've read multiple posts that say to buy the Landry's card and that will get you in faster anyways. Anyone have experience doing that for a party larger than 4?

Freezing in the jury room. Like many places here they forget the morning is often cool so the ac doesn't need to be blasting like it is. Feel like I need a blanket.
Omg, I forgot I froze to death at jury duty. Ugh—what a miserable experience (I got a lame case and that was the day my wallet was stolen).

I had to add the Chase account to my CU account as a transfer option. Then I would go into my CU account and transfer x$s to Chase. I was doing this to keep it fee free since I wanted to free up the large $s I had put into the savings account that was only earning $.01 a month of interest. If you look on DoC, there are DPs on what banks work as DD. Mine is a local CU and I gave it a try since it had worked for another bank accounts as a DD.

I could have changed my payroll DD but this was easier since I knew I was only holding the account for the 6 required months and 3 of those included the large savings account funds so I didn’t have to do anything.

Thanks! I will look on DOC and see if my bank will work. This would be a whole lot easier, but if DH has to set up DD with work, we will roll with it. With this offer, it’s only 3 months for both and it doesn’t seem like there is a certain number of DD I have to make, so right after the 90 days are up and before I close the account, I will have him redirect the DD back to our regular checking account. No matter what, I WILL make it work! lol!

My DS has some (not much) American Airlines miles that will expire in Sept of this year with no plans to fly AA before then. Besides AA shopping portal are there any ways to keep these from expiring?

I had the same situation with DD's account, so I signed her up for an AAdvantage Dining account (I think I used one of my extraneous email addresses). Link a credit card to that account, eat at one of the restaurants that participate and pay with said card, and you get miles. Not many, but it will keep the miles active. Usually there's a new member signup bonus too.

ETA: A lot of these dining programs run on the same platform on the back end. You will need to use a card that is not linked to any other program. I used my Costco Visa card since it earns 3% on dining and is one I've had for years.

Wow, they let you bring phones in?!

We're just in the jury room. We've only been here 45 min since 8. They just finished with the two videos they show amd haven't called anyone yet. We have to turn them off in the courtroom.

Ugh so that was just a bad day all around.

Ok, step one of Citizens bank bonus churn is complete. Got the account open :)

Didn't get instant open this time, it made me upload documents for ID verification yesterday and I had to wait for that to be reviewed. Got the email that the account is open now but have to figure out how to get an online account setup. Instant approval is nice, got a temp ID and the account numbers all during the application last time. I think without the account number or debit card I might be SOL for online access, but I guess I'll know for sure when I try in a bit.

Wish they were more like the credit cards where they wouldn't approve you if you weren't eligible for the bonus. I'm technically 6 months from closing the last one so I should be good, but for some reason I never got a final statement from that account even though I haven't had access and they stopped emailing me about it within a week of closure. It still recognizes my previous userid but in cruddy Citizens fashion just tells me my password is bad rather than I don't have anything to access. So now the waiting game begins, this one isn't a quick payout. But for 600 bucks I figure it's worth the few minutes of effort to risk it :)

I was thinking the same thing. I know we weren’t allowed to have them for federal jury duty.
I couldn’t have mine either. Had to call my ex from the jury room on the old fashioned phone to tell him I would be late getting the kids. And then the phone was taken away. Weird being cut off.

Ok. I set DH up as my payee. 🙄 i funded with $3500. Can I pay him the whole thing? And how do I close it? This account is in a dead heat with Barclays for worst website.
This is just to fund, but no bonus, right? So one could open an account and fund with a card like CIU for 1.5x points or Arrival+ for 2x and then withdraw it...all just for the points, right?

I've definitely gotten cheese on myself from eating pretzel bites at the movies. I will say that we are new to AMC theaters and I don't like their pretzel bites as much. They're more like bar food so they're super greasy. The pretzel bites at Marcus theaters are softer and weren't greasy at all.

All you soft pretzel eaters need to get one at the sams club snack bar next time you are in there. They are soooo good...taste like fresh dough and not chewy, just soft. Yum!

Gonna have dd19 make these! Each of us girls has a different talent - I'm the cook, dd19 is the bread maker and dd16 is the dessert maker. Works out very well around here lol! Thanks for sharing the recipe! They look delish!

My DS9 requested we do a culinary class for his homeschooling. I am so looking forward to letting him plan and make some meals! :yay:

Thank you. I have my cards in another program. Will switch it to AA temporarily.
