I hate amazon. I tried to get the Fandango giftcard and it was claimed within a minute of the deal starting. Guess I don’t click fast enough

As many of you know, DoC does not post any affiliate links from the banks or credit card companies, and as a result you can trust them for unbiased reviews and advice regarding credit card benefits and bonuses. A large portion of the revenue that keeps DoC running and allows Will and Chuck to do their good work came from their Amazon affiliate links. They've been very good about posting Amazon deals and I've always felt they've had their readers' interests at heart even if they benefit from our shopping. I've learned a tremendous amount from reading DoC that have saved and benefited me to the tune of thousands of dollars over the years. I always split my Amazon shopping clicks between DoC's and my kiddo's school's affiliate links. This is a huge blow to them, and I'll stay tuned to see if there's any way for us to help.

It will not count towards 5/24.....I’ve seen people put $1k as business income

Oh, and what I actually came to say was I bought a $100 visa e-gift card and a $10 3rd party e-gift card from Newegg a couple hours and got the congrats on using my offer email from Amex. Haven't gotten one for Best Buy yet. (I was gonna wait to post after trying the Visa on Sam's but it hasn't come through yet, it's supposed to come in 1 hour but in certain circumstances it can apparently take 2 days.)

What category room do you get at the Radisson Blu? There are 4 of us. DH and I, DS will be 19, and DD turning 17. All the rooms say king bed but not much else. Is it one sofa bed in addition in the suites? My kids wouldn’t share a bed. But I’m hoping one of the suites will work for us and we don’t have to get two rooms.

Not that anyone asked me anyway, but I let my Prime subscription lapse last year and haven't felt the slightest bit tempted to sign up again. I feel for those people. I could only take so many articles about the deplorable working conditions at Amazon. Plus, Prime Day in the past has mostly been junk - don't know if it's any different this year. One of my friends spent a few thousand dollars on worthless crap on Prime Day last year and I relentlessly make fun of him every time I see him.

Actually I should ask what he's done so far today.

You should read this book. (Sorry for the Amazon link) but it's about older folks who travel around and work for Amazon (among other jobs). I'm sure you can get it at the library.
