Ally’s rates went down to 2.10

They did, they were the first among the big guys I think. Everyone else will follow soon as the Fed is expected to drop rates but it was interesting to see who went first since we have had a down rate environment in a couple years.

Nope, no issues, super easy and yes you can move in and out. Did accounts for me, dh and dd, no problems at all.

I did last year. No issues. My Mom had her account locked when she tried to transfer money out and had to call and verify the transfer on the phone and then she was good to go (she pushed from Discover instead of pulling).

Thanks! Looks like we are tracking similarly with the Vegas trip. I wanted to use the MGM offer as well, but couldn't figure out how to make it work most efficiently. If the Chase LHR route is feasible, that would work out very nicely because I have 4 offers between myself, DH, and my parents each have it on their as well. Still trying to debate whether I would be better off using the Amex FHR benefit as well...decisions. If the week we chose wasn't so darn expensive (the weeks before and after are $100-150 cheaper per night), it would make this much easier

I got an answer on the $100 Celebration Dinner credit for Caesars Rewards Diamond. Per Nick at FM, you don't need to stay at a Caesars property to use the credit. He was at Delano when he used his. Yay!

I looked at Amex FHR too, and decided I'd rather have a $100 F&B credit that Chase LHR gives than a $100 spa credit for the weekend, plus being able to pay at the hotel rather than prepay with Amex would work better for me. I'm trying to decide if I want to avoid the resort fees by staying at a Caesars property (due to match to CR Diamond) or pay the $44.22/nt resort fee at Bellagio. I kind of feel like living it up at the Bellagio being that this is the only kid-free weekend in 14 years!

The weekend I booked was expensive too (compared to surrounding weeks), but the only one that would work for our schedule, so I feel your . I think my trip is before yours, so I can let you know if it all goes according to plan for me.

I can't find that anywhere now. Best I am seeing is 60,000. Did it disappear or was I just confused to begin with?

That's awesome! How many biz cards does he have? I'm wondering if DH and I could go for CIP3 eventually, but that would mean 4 biz cards for me which makes me a little nervous.

Speaking of Chase going wonky in the last couple days, also reports of trouble PCing cards. A couple we're mentioned couldn't go to a card you already hold. Hoping this is just part of whatever glitch they are having at the moment.

Argh, can't find the 3rd one, it was someone trying to PC a CSP/CSR to a freedom after the AF posted and could only get a plain Sapphire. Since the AF posted it had to be after their anniversary date so that's weird. Nevermind, found that one, it's already linked, it's was something else I was looking for and now can't think of the keywords. Was pretty sure I saw 3 separate issues in the last couple days.

ETA: Ok, I actually think it was the two comments on Points' post. One has been trying for a few months so that might be another issue, but the other I think is recent. I thought maybe it was a cross product issues (Sapphire - freedom) but that one is trying CFU to CF

Thanks for the reminder to check. I opened an account for me and one for DH. I used transfers from Amex Savings and Fidelity Cash accounts and my bonus posted quickly. DH used real employer direct deposits and didn’t trigger the bonus since it took a few weeks for the deposits to start. I did a quick transfer from amex savings last week and the bonus finally posted today!!

Sometimes you get good deals, but sometimes I find people just randomly buy things thinking it is a great deal.

I always verify Amazon prices with https://camelcamelcamel.com/

You copy and paste the Amazon link and it tells you the highest and lowest selling prices and what dates they sold at these prices so you can gauge the deal better.
