If you want terrible Allegiant stories, google Allegiant and safety. My parents fly them all the time because it goes from their small airport to our small airport. I will not fly them. First because of the iffy safety record and second, when I have priced them out, its not often any cheaper than a legacy carrier. Once you add the flight, your bag or carry-on, your boarding pass, ect. They literally charge for every single thing. There are ways to save on them but its a little like Spirit to me, you have to know what you are getting into. Also, as someone above mentioned, if something goes wrong with one of their planes and delays it, its a pain. They have no reciprocal agreements and no extra planes to pull into service. I don't want to be a downer on them but do your research before you get on and know what your getting into.
