I have DG’s that are only 15 minutes from me too, but they don’t take debit for Serve. Walmart is 20 minutes away, but I go there once or twice a week anyway for stuff. They are opening a new DG soon just 12 minutes from me and very close to my daughter’s school. I’ll have to try there. It would be cool if I could get it to work there. I was thinking I read somewhere that they don’t take debit for Serve at any of the pharmacies like CVS. Hopefully I was mistaken and they do.

I've read DPs that say the vanillas don't work at WM, so that has deterred me from trying. Maybe I'll give it a whirl with gas stations being the 5% category for CF next quarter. I've used Metas and USBs and Sunrise with no issues at my WM.

Crap, I didn't even think when I made flights for a hockey tourney to look at the aircraft. I have my DH and DS9 on a max8 to MDW both ways. Ugghhh. Prices have doubled since I booked. Think I should just wait it out and hope they still aren't in the air by then or change it now? Flights are 10/31 and 11/4. I have no plans for any of us to fly a max8 anytime soon, if ever. Crap, crap, crap. I think I may wait it out with the assumption they will have to change the aircraft and if they don't we will just drive and that way I can go too with the other kids.

I don't know if there is any way to predict changes. My flight in April was not on a max8 but still got cancelled 5 days out because they reallocated planes.

AF charged on 5/24- since I had PIF balance I forgot to check this acct for due date after 5/22.... on 6/19 was charged a late fee,on 6/21 p2 called in,they Pc'ed to basic Hh- they didn't refund AF Iwhich I guess wasn't paid) just 87.75....why prorated if within 30 days of charge?
then 6/24,charged interest.....
Are we on the hook for these charges b/c we didn't pay the AF by due date? or do can we call in to ask them to drop them? it seems they shouldn't prorate the AF within 30 days for a PC? or should we just have canceled card? ugh.

I would call and at least ask them for courtesy adjustment for the late charge and interest.

Are you sure the AF posted on 5/24? What is your statement close date? With Amex you get a prorated AF when you pc and it doesn't matter if you pc 1 day after the AF posts, you'll still be docked one full month of AF. You only get a full AF refund if you cancel the card within 30 days of the date the AF posts. It doesn't make sense for there to be a late fee on 6/19...

I agree with @Alexle2007 to ask for a courtesy adjustment, you have nothing to lose by doing that.

They won't be on a max 8 so I wouldn't worry about that part. It'll be the end of the year at the earliest before the faa gets the new software approved.

We have always taken a cab from the airport the used streetcars or walked in French Quarter or Garden District. Although it might just be a moo point because Hilton says all booked everywhere I check.

Oh no! I'm presuming you're aiming for sometime in April, and Easter falls in between French Quarter Fest and the opening weekend of Jazz Fest. The Riverside Hilton is located alongside the Morial Convention Center, and it has several huge conference rooms in its own right, so there might be a big trade show/conference/convention in town.
Were there any other possibilities?

Can someone remind me how to get points back from SW when the number needed drops? My return flight dropped and there are actually six tickets at that lower price! All 6 are booked together under my account. Do I need to call?

ETA: Disregard! I figured out how to do it online but it wouldn’t let me even though there were definitely 6 seats available at the new rate so I just called. They got me changed and I got 4300 SW miles back! She also confirmed that I am not on one of the MAX 8 planes. I really hope nothing crazy like my flight getting cancelled happens. I don’t even know what I would do and I don’t exactly have enough miles in anything to just rebook us to something else.

With Amex you get a prorated AF when you pc and it doesn't matter if you pc 1 day after the AF posts, you'll still be docked one full month of AF. You only get a full AF refund if you cancel the card within 30 days of the date the AF posts. It doesn't make sense for there to be a late fee on 6/19...

Yes I'm sure of the dates,I went back to recheck it all.... I wish I had remembered about the PC vs cancel thing but I don't mind 7.00 as much as I mind that huge late charge for I'm not sure what..... I usually check it weekly but super busy month got me distracted.... bleh.

I was surprised mine had gone down too. It's bounced around several times since I first booked, but never gone any lower than what I initially booked. 700 points per person is a lot to get back!
