OMG!! I am soooo afraid of spiders - big spiders, small spiders, brown spiders, black spiders......ANY spider puts me in such fear that I am pretty much frozen and feel like I can't move. My husband things I'm absolutely nuts and is always saying "It's just a spider." I honestly don't know where this fear sparked from. While others feel it's silly, I legitimately cannot move for a bit when I see one. When I'm finally able to move, all I can muster up is grabbing any kind of spray (cleaning spray, hair spray, anything) nearby and spray that sucker until he can't move anymore. My irrational fear is spiders too. I blame it all on that Arachnophobia movie that I watched when I was like 18yo. I've never been the same. I cannot look at spiders on tv, pics and if I see one in the house and it doesn't get killed, I cannot sleep at all. Once when we first moved into this house 6 years ago, I walked into our bedroom closet at about 1am. I closed the door and when I looked up, there was a spider on the wall. I froze and stood there for two hours. I couldn't do anything but just stare at this spider knowing in my head that this was silly to be acting this way but unable to do anything differently. Somehow after a two hour standoff, I was able to run out the door, grab some windex and windex it to deathIf I see one in our basement, I will have nightmares that night. I'm bad. I know it's irrational...'spiders are out friends cause they eat the really harmful bugs' (whatever!) and 'the spiders are far more afraid of you than you are of them' (um, excuse me, have you been inside MY head and theirs!?!!?). None of that computes. I see a spider and I'm paralyzed in fear. Thankfully, my dh knows how spiders affect me and he tries to intercede wherever he can!
5 nights is plenty. Aruba is seriously just nice beaches, nice people and good food. We are doing 7 nights in Feb and im a bit worried the kids will get bored. PM me if you decide to go and I can give you some restaurant and activity recommendations. We stayed at the Hilton it’s a really nice property, love the section of the beach. The fall tends to be pretty low crowd wise too. It’s a bit pricey but I can give you some tips to keep the cost down a little!
Chase just delivered a bluetooth speaker to us for getting a mortgage with them. That's great and all Chase... but where's my CIP?!?!?!
Hah! I felt the same way when I finished it earlier this year. The Year in Life leaves so many things left unsaid, too. I don't think they're planning on making anymore, but it would be awesome if they did.So this is completelybut this thread got me in this mess so I need info. I've been binge watching Gilmore girls (thanks to discussion here
) til 1am everyday for weeks. I'm obsessed. But I am halfway through season 7 and I want to cry just thinking about it ending. I know there was the Year in the Life I still have to watch but it is SHORT!? Gah!
Anyone know if there are more year in the life seasons planned? Please say yes....I'm going to be so depressed if this is almost over. I may as well be a resident of Stars Hollow at this point, I am so emotionally involved.

We haven't gotten them yet, but we're supposed to get 80k URs from our mortgage.Ahhh maybe this is why you didn’t have to verify. Wait I forgot did u get URs too for getting a mortgage?
Yes, I've done that a lot.Is it ok to pay HOA dues via Plastiq using a Visa?
We have a huge Thomas collection that was my sons and is packed away. We also have quite a few boxes of Playmobil. I don’t have any toys saved from my childhood, but we are saving quite a few from our kids for the future.
We have all our kids' Playmobil saved----2 pirate ships, the big island, the little island, the Victorian house with the extra level added, all the furniture, etc---plus a ton of Brio trains and track (no Thomas bc ds was too old for that once it was popular), so much American Girl doll (4 dolls total plus furniture and accessories), and the play kitchen stillMy boys still play with all the playmobil and we will probably keep all that too lol! We have lots of that also![]()
I think that this change makes EMM and DAH even more valuable for DHS. I'm assuming they won't have them during the initial SWGE craze, but once the EEMH end and they add EMM back in you could do TSL that way, FP for a SWGE headliner, and "rope drop" the legacy DHS headliners.Totally off topic but I somehow missed the drastic change to DHS FP Tiers and I’m seriously bummed out. At the end of the day I’m just losing one FP I know. But stillI’m not one to grab 4th FPs as they generally just don’t fit with my fam’s touring style so the loss of that 2nd decent FP hurts...
I (almost) don't care what it will cost---we'll do whatever paid extra hours event DHS has in March!I think that this change makes EMM and DAH even more valuable for DHS. Yep lol! I can so relate to this. I have used hair spray on them so many times and it’s great but leaves everything sticky.Working on catching up from the weekend - was super busy doing 2 ship inspection tours for some Carnival ships that are new to our area this year. Wanted to pop in and say my CIP2 has been approved!! I was so busy this weekend I actually hadn't called the automated line since Friday, but I did check my account once or twice. I logged in online this morning and there it is!!! My CIP2 and my 4th Chase Biz card!
@SouthFayetteFan - so glad your flight ended up working out. While I don't understand the fear of flying, as I'm generally fine with our flights, I do totally understand having debiliating fears of things that may seem trivial to others. I'm glad to hear that your wife decided to take the flight with you and hope y'all are having a great vacation!

I remember once seeing a spider in my master bathroom in the house I rented years ago. I literally stood there just staring at the spider unable to move for what felt like forever. Finally I was able to run to the kitchen and grab some sort of spray. I sprayed the spider over and over (from a safe distance) and he crawled closer to the opposite side of the bathroom. I walked into the bathroom a bit further and grabbed a can of hairspray to continue spraying him. He finally appeared to stop moving and I just ran out of the room. Then I closed the bathroom door and shoved a towel underneath. I could not walk back into that bathroom the whole rest of the day. I knew I was being irrational, but I just could not do it. When my now DH came over that evening I told him about the series of events earlier that day. He said he'd take care of the spider and removed the towel from under the door so he could walk into the bathroom. He happened to be in his socks at the time and as he stepped into the room he went sliding across the floor because of all the products I'd sprayed all over the floor earlier. When he found the spider it was all curled up and stiff from everything I'd sprayed on it. He laughed so hard. I was just glad when I saw him flush the spider.
I have 2 cordless dysons...one upstairs and one down. LOVE them! It is amazing how much dog hair they pull out of the carpet. And once you go cordless it is hard to go back. Our full size Dyson just sits in the closet. I've used it maybe 10 times in the 2+ years we have had it.So Dh and I went to lowe’s Tonight looking for a vacuum. Omg we were in there forever and still couldn’t decide. I’m pretty sure I want a shark, but not sure which one. We have the cats so the main thing is picking up litter and hair. The ion cordless seemed nice but not sure if it has enough power and I like a small handheld brush for the couches. Anyone have any advice suggestions?
As usual, I'm not caught up on this thread but wanted to propose an alternative. DH is a huge star wars fan so he's anxious to be the first in line for the preview and being the IT geek that he is, he wrote himself a little program that automatically refreshes the event registration as well as the passholder extras pages - I think he said the program checks these pages every 6 seconds and he was able to weed out the false positives in the last couple of days. Once open, the program sends a text directly to his cell phone so he will know within seconds that the pages are open for registration without having to constantly refresh manually. So I wanted to put the offer out there (and to this group specifically as you have been an awesome help to us despite my limited time to read and post; you guys have a really nice group here) - if you are interested in being added to the text message, feel free to PM me. I will share his cell phone with you and he will need yours in order for you to be added. Once the page is open, it will not be a group text, the text will go to each and every person individually at the same time. Basically, if there is any activity on the two above-mentioned pages, you will get an immediate text alert.
My girls each have 4 or 5 AG dolls with accessories and some small furniture pieces that they’ve saved. We won’t part with those either. You should still get the referral points if you PC after you refer, even if they aren't pending. I did when I pc'd my CSP to a CF.Thank you! I am spacing some possibilities out for a 60-90 day period if I do end up getting a DVC contract and don't want any issues waiting around for approvals or losing out on URs. My CSP will be 1 year old on 8/8 and I would like to get the referral in and see points pending before PCing to a CF. If I have to eat the CSP's AF for another year I guess the 15,000 URs would cover it, but I want to have my cake and eat it too!
We have bunches of American Girls too. My oldest has passed them to my next two younger girls. I'll save them and split them among the girls someday. One year for Christmas my sister gave my DD her old American Girl. We sent her to the doll hospital and had her all cleaned up and new looking. That was a special oneMy girls each have 4 or 5 AG dolls with accessories and some small furniture pieces that they’ve saved. We won’t part with those either.
