I already own this waffle maker and it makes deep crispy waffles like in the parks. I totally understand about the pancake-y waffles that come out of the other “Mickey waffle” makers on the market.
this waffle maker talk makes me :joker: I have an oldie but goodie Mickey waffle maker- weve had it for so many years and I love it (it's so beat looking on the outside but stills works)

Though actually this is my favorite use of that part of that movie:

Maybe a reddit thread would help everyone planning Japan trips here? If people listed their plans for using points and such and others could see/compare/borrow ideas? Didn't we have a Hawaii tip thread at one point?
I'd be happy to contribute my Australia plans/thought processes/redemptions if we had an AU/NZ thread on reddit :)

If you’re not Harry Potter fans I can’t recommend it. If you are I whole heartily recommend the magic that is Universal Orlando! I like it can be done in 1 day & getting the unlimited EP with a room booked at RPR via UR makes the trip much nicer. And Loews hotels? So nice. Even RPR feels like a Oasis to me after the insanity that is even a Disney Deluxe. (After my last trip I also whole heartedly recommend Sapphire Falls, I stayed there on my non-park day & walked to RPR the next day. Was great!)
I'm super excited for RPR--we never stay at nice hotels (most of my vacation budget goes to DCL). Last time we stayed at Cabana Bay--so much nicer than the Disney values. Not even close.

Congrats! That is still impressive redemptions.

Thanks! I'm not sure what's next.. I'm really trying to get under 5/24 so maybe the Amex DL Reserve? It's the only one in the family I haven't held. If Citi weren't Citi IT wise it would be an AA Biz for DH but ...

:tink:your stomach.
(Am I doing this right @palhockeymomof2) :) :)

If @amalone1013 gets :badpc:
I say @palhockeymomof2 gets :tink:
I want this one: :teacher:

Any other thread regulars wanna “lay claim” to a smilie??

My favorite is...:rolleyes2 followed by:beach:. If you see someone on the gorgeous beach of P'cola rolling her eyes, it could be me.🤣

I'm def still a Yacht/Beach girl...more Yacht now that the rooms are so new.

I'm a YC all the way! Whoo hoo!

Last night I redeemed my small stash of HH points (63K or so) for 1 night at the Auckland Hilton (on the waterfront) to spend the night after cruise pre-flight home. This trip is coming together super quickly!

For fun, I looked up the pricing on my flights -on Virgin Australia it was actually only around $4k on VA website (v. $9k on Deltas). Still, better to use points/miles, especially with the biz plat refund.

Next goal-booking PH Sydney with URs, gotta get cracking on that!

Hey - any of my URs for Universal Hotels friends...

First off, it seems these are fully refundable so I might as well lock something in now for our trip and I can re-think it later if I want and switch...

Secondly, will Universal release any discounts for on-site stays? I've never researched that lol. I assume if they did, those discounts could make their way into the UR portal and I could re-book for a discount?
IDK on discounts but I've booked something for next spring break just in case the rest of my group gets it together and goes with me ...I hope they do b/c I want an onsite stay!

I've been booking UO hotels with the AP discount, and our upcoming stay is approx 25%off. I can't remember if you have the CSP or CSR but it might be worth it to book the discounted rate and cashing out UR's and putting the room towards an msr. I'm sure you can do the math on that :) the AP isn't required to book beforehand either. There's a thread on the universal board with a link to book ap rooms.

Also I wanted to point out that last year we upgraded our 3 day park to park tickets to seasonal AP's for free for the adults, $10 each for the kiddos. So our admission this year is free! Definitely worth checking into even if you're not sure you'll be back in a year.
I'm hoping when the new dated tix come out for next year we can do something similiar...buy a deal ticket and upgrade to AP for discount...I hate dated tix....

ok Add me to the list of people who can't figure out the new boards,I'm missing posts all over the place.... it seems like there's no placeholder left! everything is posting out of order

It takes a bit to make it work. If you hit reply and don't post your reply, and happen to change pages, your reply is gone.

Before I do anything I note the number of the last post (and then sometimes can't remember it 10 seconds later) to help make sure I'm not skipping stuff.

And quote wasn't working for me for more than one, but now it seems to multiquote. Maybe it was me.

Anyway, as new stuff usually goes in a short while this will be the norm and I hope no more changes for a long time.

You are going to love it!! Food tip: pool bar makes a good place for dinner if your crew is too tired for City Walk. Funny enough last time I was there we realized the pool bar had some of the same food as Jakes (inside) but a couple bucks cheaper.

Just app'ed for my CIP thru p2's referral.... I hope it works! I got the 'we need to review' page...I won't call till tomorrow to check b/c I don't want to overthink this....(c'mon 100k UR!)

I am going on 26 hours of agony since DH’s app is still saying the 30 day message.

Hmmm. Trying to decide if for DHs gross income, do I put income I've been using the last two years (which was 2017's income and I kept putting it all of 2018 because it looked like it'd be the same but then 2018 was lower), or do I go ahead and put our now 2019 income which is gonna be 30-40% higher than 2017 (because all of the 2018 jobs paid in 2019) :P

Higher.

That would be so awesome and helpful. I'm new to reddit too how does one get it started or maybe someone can start one? Also, I'm going to Hawaii (Maui & Big Island) in two weeks. How do I find the Hawaii tip thread on reddit?
