Well that is not a bad sign. The only thing you don’t want to hear is 7-10 days. You’re welcome to check that as frequently as you want but @Albort is probably correct that an approval won’t happen over the weekend.

Congrats! I believe CSR is automatically expedited due to it being the premier Chase card out there

DH just applied for CIP also and he got that exact same message. I got two credit pull notices instantly (while the application was still being submitted.) One was from CK (Transunion) and the other was from Experian. Here's hoping we both get good news on Monday morning!!!

The mid morning flight to disney FINALLY dropped to a reasonable amount today!!! I no longer have to get up at 3am. Whoohoo! I won't make my morning Fps now, but we will just do DAH instead.

Also discovered there is a CM 50% at HDDR right now so added that to the plans. Can't pass up 50% off. It is schedule for the final night that the extended family will be there, so that should be a fun way to close out the trip.

I was looking at doing a dessert party for HEA one night and then realized I can do a chartered fireworks cruise for all 9 of us for less money. However, DD19s bday is on Epcot day and dinner is at Trattoria. Has anyone done the illuminations fireworks sailing? Any reviews?

Uggggggh Citi IT. Got DH's new AA Biz. Activated the card. Every time I go through the "register for online access," it just activates the card and never actually takes me to the step where I can create an account. And I checked DH's existing account and the card isn't on there. Anyone have any ideas?

Just tried closing two Citi personals via chat and this is what she said: "I'm sorry to hear that you want to close your credit card today. For your protection I cannot process the closure during our chat. However, I can provide you with our direct number, and you may call us directly for this request."

@speedyfishy did you have any luck doing it via chat? Should I HUCA?

ETA: Further chatting and she told me one of my two is eligible for retention and thats why she can't close one. She closed the other. Dangit, I don't want retention lol.

Ugh, I had to call Discover since I had 2 extra charges for our local gas station/liquor store on it when I was reconciling my charges today. DH and I both got gas there that day but not 4 times. So dispute has been opened. Of course, Discover made me feel like I was lying since we had several other charges on there from them but it was obvious to me that they were not ours since all of the others had our name and that the card was swiped. These just said unknown.

I got two e-mails today that I had a new SM from Chase. I checked both of my accounts and it says "We recently sent you an important email message that was returned to us because the email address we have on file for you isn't working."

What? I just got two e-mails that you sent me an SM telling me my e-mail isn't working? IDK, Maybe I will just add a secondary e-mail to my accounts. Curious what the message was...

That keeps happening to me too. Then they send me a paper bill that is photocopied. It is weird. I've double checked several times and my email address is correct.

Glad your flights dropped and what a great deal on HDDR! It is a family favorite and we love closing out our trips there

@calypso726 or others- When will the AA flights for June 5, 2020 be released? Suddenly looking at Europeans cruise on the Allure since DS will be out of school earlier next year and I can URs to pay for it. It would be a JFK flight to Barcelona. Still trying to figure out to use my MRs since I think I need to transfer them to Cathay for business class for 3 people.

AA releases 331 days out. From June 5, that should be July 10. Are the MRs to CX for the return flight? Cathay Pacific releases their 360 days out.

@Lain - a phenomenal comment! I literally agree with every word you said here (and loved your use of the word analogous)!! Perhaps I got overexcited about the potential loophole on Monday but I think the risks outweigh the benefit the more I have thought about this.
