Mid 40s. I work at a large university. After 13 years, I get 22 days of vacation - use or lose - and 22 days of sick that accumulate. People have been known to schedule all their medical tuneups right before retirement to be able to use the accumulated sick up. I take all the vacation but, except for maternity leave, my sick is barely touched.



I know this thread is big on points for Disney trips but proximity for us makes it just a weekend kind of trip (hangs head in shame). We are Fort Wilderness lovers for resort only visits but for commando park day trips, we stay at hotels. Last weekend we stayed at Pop and it was GREAT. I booked 2 more days on Monday for June to finish off FL Resident tickets. I just checked again and could get Coronado Springs with a new offer (can’t find the gift card one but will keep looking) for $7 more! Score! It’s been years since we stay at a moderate and since we are usually in our popup, the kids feel they are in the lap of luxury and I will too - HOUSEKEEPING!!!!

I love to camp! Two years ago I had a week at Boardwalk in a studio a couple nights at the Sand key in Clearwater, and we finished it off with 2 nights in a tent at Fort Wilderness. Something ate me alive but didn't touch my friend and I was completely miserable. I will go again, but it will be in a hard sided camper of some sort.

There's always a baseball bat I would have had guys fighting to get stuff done. On the flip side problems with the expensive badge hole punch go have the guys in the fabrication shop see if they can fix it, they did. Someone used sharpie on the white board, off to the paint shop to get it cleaned. I do miss that when somethings not working I can't just have someone fix it.

I've been angling to get a new copier for my end of the office since we have a lot more people working down here now. I was informed recently that we can't just get a new copier- first the county has to perform a study to determine if we have the need for a copier. Welcome to working for the government, folks. It's not like I'm angling to get a new copier because I think it would be fun to take home with me at night. If I tell you I need a new copier, it's because I have a legitimate need to make copies. There is literally nothing fun about that that could give me another reason to ask you for a copier.

I think some folks here do Fetch Rewards, so I'll share. I got an email yesterday about being selected to try out their new FetchPay service in the app, which sounded interesting since it's eGC purchasing like MPX. Looked like about half of the GC offerings were an "enter any price" and are supposed to be instant, some are instant but fixed price, others have to be printed out to redeemed. First GC listed is Amazon so it peaked my interest Until I got further into it and you can only link your bank account to pay

Buying a $25 Amazon GC would earn you 500 Fetch points which is about 50 cents. (someone check my math, 5000 Fetch points redeems for $5 GC). $25 at Panera or Atom Tickets earns 1000 points, so payouts do get better. They also have some charities listed (American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, etc) so I guess that's for donations directly to them, so at least you could earn some points for a check you would have written anyway? Otherwise it was a bit of a letdown.

I've tried this before on ANOTHER occasion when DH forgot to cancel a box with Dinnerly and they refused to stop the order. I ended up getting a refund anyways because Lasership is terrible and never delivered the box, claiming that they were unable to complete delivery on a clear weekday when I was home...

I have had good luck getting Plated to stop a box before though. I love the Plated meals and the quality has been great, but they are definitely the most expensive of the plans.

Darn it that stinks! Sounds like you need to just cancel ASAP

I messaged Barclays to match the new AA Biz offer a couple of days ago. I just got an email that they have replied, but when I go into my account, under messages, there is nothing there. Not my message or their message back to me :-(

I got the same thing. Go under the "services" tab on the left and then "view all service requests" under Communications and you should see your message and theirs. It's kind a weird place to put it but that's where I found mine.
